Well, how they get warped by this setting is something else entirely.

I was referring to how they are in their source material.

One song comes from an Omnicidal Maniac, and the other from someone who wants to save everyone and everything, mourning the loss of the planet while devoted to achieving the people's salvation, having previously exhausted all possible options for how to save both.

Reread my roll on the previous page.

Source is basically "sing a song in order to convert the entire mass of a planet into pure energy, in order to send humanity someplace else, all so that humanity can survive the inevitable apocalypse".

Then I got a response referencing Symphogear GX.

One is the 'mass murder' type of destruction, whereas the other is the 'burn as fuel' type of destruction.


Also, for my roll this round, I meant that doing so would be sacrificing the Shinju itself too. I was including the Vertex as part of the current clusterfuck that needs to be escaped from.

Essentially, take all the current characters and transplant them into a different setting, with no changes to the characters themselves :V

Because things aren't fucked up enough yet.

Ah right, might be possible if they rolled a higher number.

As it stands, well, good luck trying to take her authority.

Oh, I thought you meant doing some preemptive worldbuilding, designing the world a few updates ahead.

The kind of contingencies needed for that to work would be monumental, unless it's reliant on the actions of characters who can't be rolled.

Nah, you just need to be vague enough in the long-term, and provide room for derailment in the short-term.

I am, just... the setting is... Okay look. Everything is a weapon. Including the fourth wall.

Also this quest seems to have the dice gods making it all fit together for some reason.

Part of why I voted the way I did :V

That came from a setting that goes as far as having characters say, for extremely plot relevant reasons, "this is a robot that was specifically designed to be remote controlled by a being from another universe (the player)". From across the Fourth Wall, the player is an actual character in the story :p
