Assimilation: You'll be able to absorb outside materials and/or energy and use it to improve your own body. Absorbing technology or enchanted objects does work and will maintain their functionally. You can also absorb some abstract concepts to eliminate them from a given object and, again, improve yourself.

Imped by the QM. We can't use it to absorb other people's powers.
And king didn't really absorb anything. He just shunted damage onto people he'd touched in a certain amount of time.

that quest, was all about playing an amoral, halping QA, that had managed to accidently get full control of Taylor's body. It. Was. Glorious.
And QM has already confirmed that we still control our powers actions when it takes over.
*Shrugs* Why not? They apparently do so when the host is in danger. Could be useful.

Personally, I'm kind of hoping for Dynakinesis + energy absorption/emission.
Have you ever seen a show, or a movie, or a book, where someone was taken over by their power, or something similar? I have.
It usually ends with them shredding everything that is a threat to them. Powers are good at using themselves, and if we're ever in a situation where we need the extra firepower, having one take over to pull our ass out of the fire is a nice safety net.
That's not to say it has no drawbacks, but there's no reason to rule them out either.

You can absorb fire, but you wouldn't get fire powers from it.
Examples:
- Taking the sharpness of a blade and applying it to your nails.
- Stealing the hardness of a diamond.
- Absorbing the knowledge in a book.

Maybe? We know from our science sessions that they didn't all just appear at the same time. It might be that if a power finds a new way to use itself, it gains an additional side, or a new power gets spun off based around that evolution.
But we can totally absorb the hotness of the fire to increase our attractiveness, right?

No longer answering any more questions on this, for now. You'll just have to wait 'til the PC tests it out herself, should you want to try it.
An awful lot of powers are tied at 2-and-3 votes. If this doesn't change in a few hours, I'll just do grapeshot. Some powers may fall through the cracks, especially since some people are using the same word with different colors.

i would think so age classification showed us that older=more sides and more sides=more aplications, possibly sapient. now that evolution might not happen in any time meaningful to this quest, or human life really.
