How Should Minions Be Capped?

I'll probably commit to building PA with my non-research action, and I don't particularly care for anything else. I do think we should raid the wizards and I'll definitely be a part of it, but I believe we only have to spend a combat action on that next turn, right?

@I just write , when fully shifted into the Shadow Plane, does Terrain still imitate Earth? So, for example, can you still see where you're going to come out if you shift back? Or will that require an upgraded Dimensional Sensor?

So, would anyone mind helping me with skillsoft research prior to (and potentially after) the event? @EternalStruggle has a 5 in combat, if we could equip ourselves with Neurocomputers containing his combat skill on top of our current stats, we'd basically have a crew of mad scientist killing machines. Combined with Power Armor, we'd be a terrifying force indeed.

EDIT: Also, if we could recruit combat minions and give them Neurocomputers equipped with combat skillsofts, we'd basically have a crew of super-soldiers at our beck and call.

Should I build more Pandora then? Even if my upgrade failed they should still give quite huge bonus. "

Just so we're on the same page, what is our priority this turn?

Someone build more power armors for the raid next turn. In the meantime, should we acquire a werewolf?

So before we were worried the solo werewolf we found was a time restricted thing, but luckily our SPYTEAM found about a dozen unaffiliated werewolves, so I'm not too worried about the timing.

What I am worried about is this mission opportunity from SARSI, and I don't think we should dilute our Combat talent this turn, especially since it's going to be our first chance to see a Combat DC so we don't really know what this will look like.

On the Operations end, I think we're ok for money right now(Feels that way, but not sure until OP is updated) but we could use a base expansion.

Also, a lot of people are getting hurt so maybe we could upgrade that Infirmary we have? We're much better at Biology now, and if we're going to start a fight with Larry Besden we need to be ready to receive wounded.

EDIT: As far as my personal plans go, I'm going to be trying to figure out more about this world's "Masquerade". We're getting hints from all over the place that supernatural things are being covered up, and I don't want to get face stomped by the Men in Black because we broke some unspoken rules that no one told us.

@theflyingbiscuit ,@Moronis ,@Hazard , @Friendlygiant,@FrenziedGlint ; Are any of y'all down for something like:

Espionage Action
[]:Write In
-[]:Obviously something's getting in the way of the normies figuring the extistence of the supernatural out, since it's obvious to anyone who spends two weeks looking into it. What? Why? Who? The truth is out there, and we're going to find it.

I'm going to upgrade/repair the network so we don't have that malus anymore. Perhaps do something nice for our first death, so to speak.

I say we put off capturing that werewolf until next turn; we can use the raid as a 'test run' for combat.

Speaking of the raid, we should demand payment, whether in resources, equipment, or blueprints.

As for actions, I'm asking if we want to upgrade the Particle Cannon? Getting rid of that explosion chance would be nice.

Meanwhile, let's make/hire some minions for the raid. Or we could scout out the wizards, see what their deal is.

Well, IC nobody knows he's any good in a brawl, least of all him, but I do get your general point and think it's a good idea. I'll probably be busy researching something else though, we'll have to see what comes up.
@I just write

When do we know if our character has been approved? I want to start helping as soon as possible.
You've been threadmarked, that mean you're approved.

I'll help. It would be nice to have that not exploding also small enough to be put on power armour or something. I mean I probably still able to use it regardless, but it will be awkward.

NOTE: The raid action is actually this turn (week 3), but due to it being late in the week, minions and equipment acquired this turn can be applied to it.

A Dimensional Sensor is required, but the baseline model is serviceable enough.

Ah, so when you said end of next week that was from the perspective of end of week two not start of week three. Yeah that makes sense.

Anyway I know what I'm going to do, which sadly means I can't build PA, I have to research stuff instead. I'll probably hop on whatever gains the most traction.

Would someone be willing to help me update the Shadow Gate and design a new Ninja Robot that has it, a Dimensional Sensor, and a Shadow Manipulator?

Alright, EPC mark II, is a go!

Although, @I just write, if you use one action to upgrade a piece of equipment, and some of that equipment is built on the same turn, will it be of the original or upgraded type?

It'd be the original, but you'd get a single working upgraded model out of the research action.

EDIT: Another quick note; the Wizards you'd be raiding are the ones affiliated with the Neo-Aztecs.

Call it an Event action; I was actually expecting you to stuff a bunch of Mercs in your new power armor (with a remote shut-down, of course) and send the minions into battle.
Ah, I didn't see the raid vote combat action in the vote selection. So if I want to join directly means I have to commit one action research and the other joining the raid right? Getcha, rather slow this morning.

Also, did I barely succeed on upgrade or minor failure? Just curious.

Well, maybe for others especially the ones that not combat focused. But since I still the only one have working Pandoras, I should go.

Which action was this? With such a stupid-huge number of actions, chances are we forgot something due to overwork.

Also surprised I haven't seen any commentary on the 'search for suspicious activity' results. There's some juicy stuff in there.

[] Scout out the Raid Location.
though if we fail it would probably make the raid harder I assume
