It's only been a couple days since the fight in the city; neither the attack on RF6 nor Ginga's capture have occurred.

I had hoped Berserk Subaru would've done more damage to Cinque at that time.

IIRC, Subaru pretty much shattered Cinque's spine in that fight, and if Sein hadn't managed to save her she probably would've killed her.
 
[x] They are with the ones who attacked you and Vita, push Headless into a clone and tag team them
-[x] make sure headless promises not to attack anyone else...for now. and then maybe she could come out more often.

have to keep in mind that as long as we keep holding back all the time Headless will get more and more Antsy, better to give her an outlet now and then rather than explode in the middle of something important.

Edit: just a thought but if we somehow managed to heal/repair Mami's head enough to give it a body as well could headless use it?

The idea of 'headless' Mami just makes me laugh for some reason:rolleyes:

Wow, didn't know she did that much damage. I guess because of the way it was portrayed it didn't really click with me that Cinque was that damaged. Although like some people said the damage she suffered caused her to be removed from combat for the rest of the show, it didn't really connect with me when I was watching.

Well...she's REALLY lucky to be alive because that's a "Shatter all barriers, all mechanisms and all your innards if it hits" move.

I have to go back and watch it because I thought Cinque kept up her barrier for most of the fight, which is what I suppose saved her life, since I thought her IS only worked against physical matter?
 
It's not clearly shown how badly Cinque was damaged, but her barrier did get destroyed IIRC, she vanishes for the rest of the season until the distance epilogue, AND a Drama CD shows that she was put into one of those tanks that Megane was in for recovery (though she was conscious enough to wish her sisters the best of luck), so it had to be pretty significant.
 
Don't forget that the mad professor implanted the cyborgs with clones of himself in their wombs so that even if he'd caught during the final phases of his plan he could still escape. Although he could have done that just before he initiated his plan but still.

At the very least it's a good justification as to why all the cyborgs are girls.
 
It did. I think Subaru basically overcharged, well, everything. Either that, or the equipment hadn't been built to deal with the feedback from her own IS + Cinque did get off an attack at the start that pretty much went undefended against, IIRC.

From memory she broke her arm and leg attacking. So it wasn't just the equipment.

The show itself doesn't go into it - all you can see is that Cinque got wrecked pretty badly. You have to go into the Sound Stages to find out what happened (I don't think the manga goes into it).

Part of it was that her equipment wasn't ready for it - you can see Mach Caliber looking pretty roasted after she this Nove - and Cinque did get a last-ditch attack off that scragged Subaru.

We should try to question them, and then "play" with them if they are not cooperative.

I'll try to see if I can get that in vote form...
