Never heard of it.

... I want to vampirise Madoka (We just need to drink all of her blood).
It's a bit more complicated than that. Drinking all of someone's blood is just going to get you a ghoul/zombie that decays in sunlight.

How fast are we going to derail canon anyway

*You have been poked!* Don't be rude~

[X] Hide somewhere until it's dark
- [X] Nearby Hospital.

[X] Frustrated that you were cheated.

Doesn't vampirisation need exchange of blood, or something?
Also, Vampire!Madoka FTW!

[X] Leave Immediately
-[X] Be careful to often rest in shadowed areas/travel in them as much as possible. (Under bridges, shadow of buildings...)

[X] Stay on this side.
- [X] Go along the river. (To the right when facing it).

[X] "Lost and afraid"
-[X] And cute, in a way so that naive victimscitizens may want to help you.

What is the full process then? Flan should know that at least.

Flan wouldn't, actually - she hasn't met enough candidates for the process (that didn't end up splattered on account of they're invading her home ...) that she would have experimented, and she hasn't thought to look it up in the library since meeting Reimu and Marisa. Remilia knows a few ways, but she isn't particularly interested in increasing the number of vampires. For the record, though ... Hmm. Barring other magic (Wishes?):

* Direct and massive infusion of vampire blood; reducing the victim's blood helps, but isn't necessary. This creates a very weak vampire, because it's essentially trying to get the vampire blood to 'latch on' and create an environment capable of sustaining it, which ends up making the body a vampire's. It takes several days for the change to be complete, during which time the victim will be very sick/comatose, depending on the amount of human blood still in the system. It's not a guaranteed method, but it's one Flan could do immediately.

* Similar to the above, but using magic to amplify the effect/weaken the body so it's safer and requires a smaller transfusion. To transform near-humans or something like a Magical Girl, you would need at least this. Flan could do this immediately, but she isn't a talented magic-user, so it's probably a worse idea than the first method.

* A sufficiently complex/powerful ritual could be done to forcibly change something into a vampire. The majority of existing ones require more magical skill than Flan has, and while she has the power to use the few that are simple enough for her to do, they're almost impossible to find. This is effectively sealed off, since she would have to find a ritual first, and those won't be lying around in other universes.

But Flan doesn't know any of this. She has read Dracula (the wonders of an education!) and a lot of the myths about vampires, but she knows that at least some of those are false (religious imagery doesn't bother her or Remilia, they both have reflections, etc), so she doesn't know if any of the 'traditional' methods work.

(Also, I didn't expect SV to try to make vampires in this. I'm not sure why the idea didn't occur to me.)

Wonder if we can sense Witches or not?
Witches and Familiars are visible to her, and she can see easily-enterable spots on their Barriers, but she can't detect/sense them like Mami does with her Soul Gem. Something radiating magic - powerful Witches outside a barrier or a Magical Girl actively using magic - she will notice, but not passive ones. If she gets close enough to a Witch inside a Barrier, she can sense where it is, but that's very short range, and it's something she has to work at - she practiced by looking for the 'radiation' emitted when she uses her Clones and Invisibility, but she doesn't look for that unless she expects to have to.

Hmm alright then I have a plan to vampirise Madoka (we will experiment on HItomi first), since the "Drain a lot of human blood and insert a little vampire blood" is a common part of vampire mythology and fiction it can be justified using this method.

  1. Incapacitate target
  2. Drink as much blood as we can
  3. Inject some of our own blood
  4. Use our power to destroy the left over human blood.

That's a plan you can try, but I'll just point out a couple potential failure points:
1) Flan would need a reason to try this. Random Girl XYZ isn't going to ping her interest enough.
2) WWHD?
3) You would need to make rolls for both 1 and 4, since Flan doesn't do "Incapacitation" of normal humans, and she's never tried to destroy a specific *part* of something.

Oh, right ....
Entropy Judge threw 1 30-faced dice. Reason: Almost Forgot this .... Total: 26
26 26

Oh, right ....
I'll figure something out, maybe adjust the plan to have Flan befriend someone and want to play with her more but not want to break her.

We have a kill counter. Our attacks are deadly.

I'm really starting to regret not playing or reading up on Touhou beyond 'massive amounts of dakka', 'girls in frilly dresses', and 'obsessive fans'.

Well in context of Flandre it should be mentioned that her power is "To destroy absolutely anything and everything" not kidding it's literally listed as such on the Wiki.

Also here is her extra stage

and as a bonus a cute video involving her

We're no longer bound by the Spellcard rules, right? That means our bullets can be fatal?
Yes, although Flan can't do anything particularly fancy, nor can she fire lethal bullets en masse. It's just not something she's particularly interested in, anyway - she's much more an "Invading your personal space, ripping off your face," kind of person, you know? Unless there's a good and demonstrable reason for her to fling bullets as anything other than distractions, she's not likely to do it.

A lot of the information requires going into the background so most people are unlikely to know about them unless you read through the wikis ... but for reference's sake, here's part of the Perfect Memento in Strict Sense* article for Vampires:
PMiSS said:
...
Their main diet consists of the blood of humans. Those whose blood has been sucked by one will neither die nor become a ghost. They will turn into a zombie for a while before evaporating under the sunlight.
...
Vampires have tremendous physical abilities and magical power: they are able to uproot a thousand-year-old tree single-handedly, to run through the human village within the blink of an eye, to summon many devils with a single word**, to turn into bats or even mist to intrude anywhere they please, and they can recover within a single night even when their body is blown away, so long as their head is intact.
...
First, they are weak against sunlight, so they are docile during the day.
Neither can they move through flowing water, so they are docile on rainy days. They also cannot cross rivers.
They can't approach a sardine head or a broken holly branch.
Their skin will be burnt if someone throws roasted soybeans at them.
...
They can create abnormalities in everything including natural phenomena with no warning, for selfish reasons, which will always lead to endangering human life no matter what is affected.
Most of these reasons are out of mere curiosity, and they will cease once they tire of it.
...
You shouldn't do something that strikes one of their weaknesses, even by accident.
A halfhearted attack will only result in enraging them.
*: I'm running with "mostly accurate." Flandre can't go swimming, but she can be out in the sun or rain for short periods of time before needing to seek shelter.
**: Flan can't do this one. No Instant Army for you!

The reason things like this aren't relevant to the games is because Danmaku duels are explicitly designed to be nonlethal and allow weaker individuals to win against stronger ones. A vampire being able to do a pretty good imitation of Alucard is irrelevant when the rules make that illegal.

There are a few official print works (nowhere near "just the game manuals" that seems to get thrown around) but for Flandre in particular...

There's her actual dialogue in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, and an interview in one of the local newspapers. She has the least written dialogue out of pretty much any of the named characters in the Mansion, as far as I'm aware.

Well, except Remilia's pet chupacabra, but it can't actually speak.

Oh, and Hieda no Akyuu wrote an article about her, but keep in mind that Akyuu's works are as much propaganda piece as anything.

The problem with Touhou vampires is that they never were human, they are actually a kind of oni (吸血鬼 kyūketsuki, lit. "blood-sucking oni"). When they drain a human of blood the human turns into a mindless zombie that will die under the light of the sun.
