[X] Go to the Emiya residence and see what's going on.
- [X] Make your way in openly and explain what happened.
You look down at yourself and examine your dress; if you're going to stop by Emiya's home, you should make sure you're presentable. There's enough minor damage that you decide to change, and after slipping back into the house for some privacy you put on another dress. Part of you wonders whether you should follow Rider's false Master, but he's not worth your time and you aren't exactly worried about Tohsaka's threat. You wonder if it's the right time of year for it to snow as you fly north; it's not quite cold enough right now, but if it were a little cooler, it might. And snow is infinitely more preferable than rain. You see Saber on the roof long before she sees you, but when she does she leaps to the southern wall, blade apparently in hand, and you land the roof of a house across the street.
"Now is not a good time, unless you wish to engage in combat," she says, and you grin a little.
"Oh, calm down; if Rider didn't stick around, I don't think you need to be worried about fighting for the moment." She seems surprised, but not overly so, and you consider that a confirmation of your suspicion that Rider dropped Sakura off here, hoping Emiya would help her. "I might even know a thing or two about the situation, so would you please let me enter?" She frowns, clearly unhappy with the request. "I'll even offer you this - if anyone tries to attack you while I'm here, I'll help you fight it off. Is that enough?"
"… You seem to know something about this, so I shall allow you entrance, but I will accompany you to protect my Master." You nod, smiling, and follow her into the courtyard. You're more than a little stung at the insinuation that you would attack Emiya after telling her you'll help defend against attackers, but you let it slide. For now. Her armor is gone when you catch up to her at the door, but instead of her nice blue dress, she's wearing a shorter brown dress. After another suspicious glance she guides you into the living room. Shirou looks up from Sakura's side as you enter.
"Ah, Saber! Taiga will be here …." He trails off, confused, when he sees you, and you curtsy politely. You aren't sure who 'Taiga' is, but he probably isn't related to the Grail War and probably won't take well to seeing you. Better to make this quick.
"She seems to have an idea of what's going on," Saber says, and you nod.
"The immediate concern would be an injury to her head, right about here." You pat your head approximately where her head hit the wall and wait until Emiya checks. "The cause of that particular injury would be my slamming her head into a wall in her basement." Emiya stares at you, uncomprehending for a moment, but you feel a cold edge at your throat and see Saber glaring at you furiously. "… Well, I'm glad I got that out of the way …."
"You … why did you do that to Sakura?" You slowly move your gaze from Saber and her invisible blade to her Master.
"Because it was easier to keep her in one place instead of worrying that she would move around and potentially get herself killed." The boy seems a little confused, but the Servant has her head on straight.
"And what were you doing there that might get her killed?" You smile and give a one-shouldered shrug.
"Well, all I'd planned to do was explore, because I wanted to see what was going on, but there was a strange old mage down there who seems to have thought I was Caster and tried to kill me. Naturally, I defended myself, but it seemed best to incapacitate Sakura so she didn't move into a space I thought was empty." Saber's expression cools, no longer a fierce hate, and she glances at her Master for a moment.
"You admit to wrongdoing, and that she was injured solely due to your actions?" You scowl at the Servant as best you can, then shrug again.
"I guess. I wasn't planning on being caught at all, though." The blade leaves your neck and you put your hand where it had rested. You aren't particularly worried, of course, and even if she had nicked you it would have healed, but it's better to keep things as ordinary as possible. "Anyway, I carried her out of the basement and ran into Tohsaka in the front yard. I think she wants to kill Sakura," you continue, and the boy glares at you.
"Tohsaka wouldn't do that. She's a good person." You shrug innocently.
"Well, she was quite insistent that I put her down when she first saw me, and when I asked her about it later, she said that she was interested in Sakura only because she was a Master and therefore an enemy. Quite insistent on that point, too, in fact." Emiya stares at you and swallows at your off-hand remark and you tilt your head. "Oh? Ah, that's right. The other boy - Shinji, I think? - he apparently was Rider's Master, and Tohsaka said he shouldn't have been a Master and wouldn't be one again before telling him to run to the church for protection, but it seems that Rider is actually her Servant. Certainly, she came running from a fight to rescue Sakura and ignored Shinji. So it's probably not a good idea to see if Tohsaka will help you take care of Sakura." He slumps to the floor and you frown, genuinely confused. Saber frowns at you, but any further conversation is cut short when someone calls out from the hallway.
"Shirou! I'm here, Shirou!" Footsteps patter on the wooden floors and you slip to the side invisibly, scowling at the interruption. Saber and Emiya perk up at the new arrival and a woman with light brown hair skids into the room. You drift outside, dropping your invisibility as Emiya explains where her injury is and mentions trying to call her home but not getting an answer. The woman takes charge, calling a hospital and directing them to Emiya's home. You make your way outside before remembering that you should probably tell them about the worm Sakura swallowed, but you'll need to wait for Taiga - assuming that's who the woman is - to leave, so you float up to the roof to stay out of the way. Rider is watching the house from several rooftops away, but before you can say anything or move toward her, she leaps away from you, turning invisible as she does so. You scowl; it's not like you were going to fight her, at least not right here and now. Still, maybe you should tell them that she's probably keeping a watch on Sakura, too?
