A couple things first:
... despite the fact had Flan force her to help find Kirika ...
Flan asked, not forced, Lutecia to help. Yes, she pretty much bullied Agito into asking, but she didn't force Lutecia to help.

... It also seem that Agito also no longer fear Flan. Normally when Flan glare at Agito, she would be frighten.
Hm, Agito is learning more about Flan and how she acts and thinks. She does still get nervous when Flan gets snarly, but she's figuring out how to tell if she's actually going to attack right now or if she's just being menacing.

As for this:
How is Flan relationship with Lutecia and Agito currently?
Improved a bit from the last time you asked, but not a whole lot (it's only been a day or so in-game :p). Learning more things about Flan is helping, and seeing her emotionally and physically unwell had some effects. Their relations probably would have decayed a little if the vote for bottling up or crying privately had won - at least in the short term - because Flan would have kept things hidden from them, but knowing how much it affected her and why helps.

[X] Give up on killing Kirika.
- [X] Time-skip to the 22nd.

You stare at the floor. They're actually leaving it up to you … and seem to be willing to go along with you if you want to go after Kirika. Because they still need you? Because they want to help you? For some other reason? You sigh and shake your head. "I … I'll let her go." Your voice is soft, so very quiet, and you aren't sure Agito heard you, but Lutecia, still by your side, pulls you into a hug, and you see Agito grin.

"Letting her go?" You nod, a little confused, and little fireworks start going off behind her. "Then you won. You beat Kirika!" Lutecia giggles at your expression, and Agito floats closer. "I told you we read the letters, right? Well, they don't really match, do they? Oriko's letter is polite, respectful, like she really doesn't want to get on your bad side, and Kirika's … is basically daring you to come after her. It doesn't make sense for them to be sent together, especially if Oriko was the one to actually send them, so we can assume that Kirika sent them, probably without Oriko's knowledge. Which means she wanted to provoke you, get a reaction - but you're better than that, aren't you?" She crosses her arms and nods imperiously, then opens one eye to gauge your reaction. You're not sure you buy it - it sounds like she's trying to make you feel better by building a possible chain of events … but even if it's just that, it helps. Your arm leaps forward, catching her before she can react, and you tousle her hair.

"Hmph. Of course I won." Agito scowls at you, then smiles. Of course, the moment is ruined when you yawn. With how worn out you feel, you don't really feel like getting out of the chair, even if it's not that comfortable for sleeping in, and you pout.

"Oh, don't make that face. I still have to clean up dinner," Agito says, and you giggle.

"Nope! Food's in containers in the fridge, dishes are drying, everything's put away … haa~ um, door is locked and lights are off. Homura's sleeping. Don't have to do anything." Agito stares at you, confused, then sighs as you curl up, wings over the right arm of the chair. No good. You scowl as you sit up. "Anything else we should talk about before we go to sleep?" They shake their heads, and Lutecia yawns again. "Then, beds. Beds aren't uncomfortable." Lutecia declines your offer to carry her, and the three of you make your way to your rooms. Agito gives you a strange look when you slip into your own room … but you're tired, and wrapping yourself up and getting yourself stuffed under the bed is slightly more important. Are you making another mistake? You wish you knew these things in advance ….

The following week is fairly peaceful. You take the letters and keep them - you may have decided to let Kirika live, for now, and you can't be sure that your sister will be able to return you to this particular timeline, but it's possible that she can affect them with the letters serving as the link. You also get permission from Kyouko to keep using the piano, and Lutecia teleports it into the library. The acoustics aren't as good, but you're able to keep teaching Lutecia, and you think she's starting to enjoy music for its own sake. That's not the only thing you start teaching her, either - Sayaka and Kyouko help you teach her how to fight. Her magical attacks are powerful, but deliberate, her defenses are slow to activate, and she isn't quick at all. She is young, but that's all the more reason to start now, you explain - you don't want her to turn into Patchouli, after all, and not be able to do anything without magic. She goes swimming a couple times, with Saya, Sayaka, Kyouko, and Momo.

The Kaname family's funeral is held on the 18th, and Sayaka and Homura both go. Lutecia uses a few of her more precious Insekts to watch the event, and you see Hitomi rail against Sayaka and Homura before Kyousuke gently pulls her away. As she breaks down, he smiles apologetically at the two magicians and helps her leave. That night, you watch the moon. It's full, and you stare at it for hours, feeling the connections between the planet and the moon, between the sun and the moon, between the moon and you. They're weaker than you're used to, don't really affect you, but they're there. Lutecia and Agito join you on the roof for a while, and you talk about the moon, how it affects youkai and humans. Lutecia seems to have something on her mind, but you don't press her about it, and she leaves to go to sleep without telling you about it.

Witches start coming, too. Kyouko and Sayaka defeat three Witches over the course of the week, and they seem to have encountered Familiars from Witches they hadn't fought, which worries them slightly. Homura seems to have abandoned the town to them, and spends most of her time either in her rooms or working on the strategies in the main room. You read through some of her reports, and one thing catches your eye - Walpurgisnacht is known to affect the weather, and doesn't utilize a barrier. If it's actually powerful enough for you to fight, you would be working under a major handicap. Bad enough that you're in a harbor town. Destroying the Witch isn't the issue - you have no doubts on that particular front - but for it to be worth it … you'd also have to worry about Lutecia, while you're fighting. How galling - you've been looking forward to this for a while, after all! You also work together to restock your blood bags from the hospital - you sneak through invisibly, while she watches you and deactivates the security systems so you don't get caught. You wonder how Homura did it ….

Friday comes gently, and you creep into the kitchen. Not that you really need to creep - Homura doesn't come out, to socialize or anything else, and it's too early for Lutecia to be awake. You make some tea, first, and wonder what to make. Well, decisions like that are hard, which is why you usually have the same thing for breakfast - but Agito's not going to win this one! You dig through the cabinets and fridge - pancake mix, sausages, eggs …. What else hasn't been used for breakfast so far? Yes, she has quark … or something that could pass for it, anyway. You take it out and start working - get the mix started, rolled out enough that they can be used but aren't cooked; turn the oven on; add the things you're using to the list of things that have been used, after triple-checking to make sure you haven't used something that's already on the list; scrambling the eggs without cooking them too much. You're just about finished when Lutecia walks into the kitchen - all you need to do is take them out and let them cool a little, and you smile at her before you realize that Agito isn't with her, and she looks a little nervous. You tilt your head and give her a questioning look.

"Um … Agito and I will be going out today," she says quietly, and you nod. She doesn't need your permission, she knows that, but she's awfully nervous. "We'll probably be gone for most of the day."

"What will you be doing?" You check the counterfeit strudels - they seem to be done, so you take them out of the oven.

"I'm going to start making the glyph around the city … so I can gather peoples' energy and break through to imaginary space. It … it will probably take me a few days to get it set up. Then … um, if you could help … help get it working …?" You blink, confused at what's bothering her, then Headless gives you a little push. Right, she is a child still, and asking you to help is pretty much guaranteeing that people are going to die. Death isn't necessary, but … you aren't exactly good at holding back, especially when lots of blood is being spilled.

What do you do?

[ ] Agree to help with the blood-spilling.
- What do you do for the rest of the day?

[ ] Agree to help with the blood-spilling, and offer to go around the city with her and Agito.

[ ] Agree to help with the blood-spilling, and offer to carry her around the city to speed things up.

[ ] Don't agree to help.

DM Note: It should be obvious, but if you don't agree to help, a very good reason would be a good thing to have. If Flan helps by carting Lutecia around the city, she'll be finished with the glyphs today and can do the ritual tomorrow; if Flan doesn't help her move around, it'll take three days to complete, and she can do the ritual on the 25th.

Dumb question, but did old!Kyouko take new!Kyouko's body over after she witched out, or did she stay with the "fake Kyouko" body she was given?

She moved over to 'her' body - the Guardian's body she was using was different enough to throw her reflexes and movements off, and she didn't want to have to deal with the contacts and hair dye, especially since she doesn't have the illusion magic the other Kyouko did. They weren't able to find the Soul Gem, though they did bury the body.

-[X] Though if she does accept your offer, she should probably... advise... you as to what exactly you should do. You're not the best at holding back once blood's involved, even if you intend to from the start.

Wouldn't that "advise" write-in just further traumatise Lutecia? Sure it might seem like a good idea from a white knight kill as little as possible perspective but it would be hell on Lutecia to personally point out every person as it at the market and send us at them. You're essentailly turning it from Flandre coming along and killing as she likes/ feels prudent to her being Lutecias weapon in is and killing on her word. I really don't think Lutecia would handle the second one well. She's likely to just tell us to stay home then.

Not to mention that it's rather out of character for Flandre to essentailly allow Luteica to order her like an attack dog or to even tell her that it might be a problem. She's still a 500 year old vampire with little respect for human life other than those close to her/ that she cares about. I don't see her putting a damper on Lutecias master plan like that either by bringing that up. It not like Falndre gives even the slightest of damn/shits about what happens to those random civilians that just happen to be spring when she needs to kill. Hell that's what she's going to do in the first place...

And this could lead to Lutecia either having a breakdown from essentailly being the killer who wields the weapon (Flan in this case) or from her holding back and not getting enough power for the Ritual because she's too scared to kill all that she needs to and so could lead to the ritual either failing or messing up and hurting her in some way... It just makes the vote worse all round for some random nameless civilians that Flandre ho early wouldn't cars about anyway at the expense of Lutecia and what's going on... If anything then overkill would be better here than reaching perhaps just enough energy for the ritual to backfire on us and hurt us/ those we care for etc.

Or all that might not happen. Lutecia has been near Flandre longer then most, and probably knows she'll kill. I imagine she just doesn't give a fuck.

There's a massive difference between knowing that Flandre kills people when she wants to/ feels like it and actually pointing at a group of people and telling her to slaughter them right in front of her... One can be rationalised as there being nothing she can do about it and is out of sight, the other is actually her fault as zflandre likely wouldn't have killed those people if Lutecia didn't tell her too and is done right in front of her/ on her order so it's much harder to brush over/ ignore as something that's not her fault/ business...

Speed is rather important if we want to do it before intervention happens.

I actually meant 'advise Flan how to avoid killing people, and just spill their blood', as as far as I recall the spell doesn't actually require death to work- just lots of blood. And as Flan knows Lutecia wouldn't want more death than necessary and knows she isn't good at holding back, it makes sense she would ask. Less becoming her weapon, and more being told how to avoid killing more people than necessary.

Setting the Stage
[X] Agree to help with the blood-spilling, and offer to carry her around the city to speed things up.

Lutecia shifts uncomfortably at your silence, maybe reading something else into your hesitation, and you step forward and pat her head, a smile on your face. "Of course I'll help, Lutecia. Why wouldn't I?" She looks grateful and hesitant at the same time, and you lean into her. "Don't worry; we'll get you to your mother, safe and sound, and you can tell her about your adventures. She'll take care of you if you're hurting or worried, okay?" She nods slowly and gives you a slight smile. "Now, it's time for breakfast, so go sit down and I'll make sure everything's ready."

"Yes. Thank you, Flandre." You grin at her as she leaves, then get everything out. Plates, glasses, napkins … to keep things fair, you don't use your clones, and it takes you a few moments to get it all together. You catch Agito as she wanders into the dining room and stick your tongue out at her. Once everything's ready, you take it all into the dining room. They do taste a little odd, because the dough you used isn't the proper kind for something like this, but the counterfeit strudels are well-received by the judge, and you preen.

"… So, Lutecia told you about our little excursions for the next few days?" Agito courteously waits until breakfast is finished to talk business, and you nod as the magician wilts.

"Yes, she did. I … have a proposition about that, actually," you say. Agito frowns and Lutecia looks up quizzically. "Um, so you two were going to walk around to set up the boundary, right? Would it be okay if I helped? I could carry Lutecia, flying around, so it should shorten the amount of time you'd need to work, right?" Lutecia seems stunned at your offer, and Agito blinks in surprise.

"It … um, it would, actually. We'd figured a few days because we'd have to walk around a lot, and since flying would let us cut corners …." She shakes herself and glances at Lutecia. "What do you think, Lulu?" Lutecia looks down at the table for a long moment, then nods quickly.

"Please, Flandre." You smile and hop out of your chair to curtsy gracefully. She still looks unhappy, but you won't know just how she feels until you see her reaction.

"Of course, my friend." She jumps a little, shocked by either your gentle tone or your choice of words, but you pretend not to notice. "When did you want to leave?" It's still early, but the faster you get started, the sooner you can do things. Lutecia shakes herself from her stupor and takes a breath.

"As soon as we can all get ready," Agito says, and Lutecia nods determinedly. You smile, both at their decision and Lutecia's attitude. If you can give her something to do, she'll feel better.

The three of you left almost immediately, delaying only to retrieve the map of key locations they'd made and for you to put the rest of the strudels and a travel tea set in a small basket for lunch. Then you carried Lutecia and Agito carried the basket as you moved north to set up the first point of the boundary. It wasn't outside the city limits, but it was apparently near the border of Mami's claimed territory, as far as they could tell, and the buildings were older and not as well-kept in some parts. From there, you moved east to the river, forming the first solid anchor of the spell. They would not be passing the river, and you agreed with their reasoning - as the spell was used by Remilia and taught to you, the possibility of the river disrupting the ritual's effect had to be taken into account.

Lutecia grows more tired from setting the anchor points than the lesser points, and while your aid lets her rest between setting the points, each point takes longer than its predecessor, and you wonder if they would have been able to keep to their schedule if they had to transport themselves. Part of the problem is undoubtedly the large area covered by the spell, but you're sure some of it is that Lutecia can't use that style of magic very well - not yet, at least. When you reach the rail bridge, you insist on stopping for lunch, and then you and Agito let her take a nap. You aren't particularly thrilled with the amount of sun you're being subjected to, but you can simply drink more blood to deal with that particular problem. Human observation is the one you're more concerned with, but as is so often the case, humans simply don't look up. There are times when you feel it's safer to walk at ground level, or to wait for a crowd to disperse, but for the most part, you're safe to move more-or-less as you wish.

As you fly, you chat with them about Gensokyo, about its denizens and features. You can only give them second- and third-hand information on some of the places, but you're able to give them lots of information on the major residents, thanks to your sister's frequent parties. The magicians in the Forest of Magic, the tengu and kappa of Youkai Mountain, some of the more adventurous humans, representatives of the youkai factions that use the Mansion as a meeting ground to settle their disputes under the watchful eye of a neutral arbitrator - or at least one that is biased against both parties equally. It helps to pass the time, and Lutecia seems truly interested.

Setting the points takes longer and longer, and Lutecia needs more rest between setting the points to even start the next one, but she insists on continuing, even as twilight turns to dusk and full night. Agito grows more distressed at her desperate insistence on finishing before returning to Homura's, but it's nothing you haven't seen - or experienced - before, and you simply keep her from doing anything too foolish. She wants it set and done so she doesn't need to go out later and try to mesh spells from different times, which is perfectly reasonable. Finally, however, she finishes, then works through each point and anchor point, making sure they're stable and will last - then allows herself to succumb to sleep, and you take her back to Homura's. You wait in the library as Agito tucks her in. The fairy finally walks in and sighs.

"I'm … not sure if I'm as grateful as I thought I'd be," she says, and you frown. "No, I mean, I appreciate your help, but … she got a little weird, and now I'm worried about her." You nod.

"Mm. Why make such a big area to cover? She shouldn't need that much energy, should she?" Agito shakes her head and shifts to her smaller size.

"No, although we thought it might be a concern. She's going to set the spell and channel all the power into it - it should rip the hole open once enough energy's been absorbed. We just couldn't decide on how to go about it …." You frown.

"I'll be taking care of that part, won't I?"

"Er, yes, I meant … okay, so Lulu's probably going to want to do it tomorrow, regardless of what shape she's in, and she can't keep it up for more than a few days before we'd have to replace it anyway, but we weren't sure on when and where. Start the ritual at night? We'd get better results going after residential areas, or the hotels. Do it during the day, and the entertainment or business areas would work better. And Lutecia … she couldn't bring herself to make a decision, and this is eating at her enough, so I didn't want to force it." She sighs and gives you a frustrated look. "So, as long as you give us enough warning to get set up, timing and targets are up to you. Just …." You nod.

"Yeah, I'll … try to avoid killing people. Lutecia wouldn't like it." Agito shakes her head again.

"It's more that she's starting to wonder whether her own happiness, her own goal, is worth all the harm she'll have to inflict on a lot of innocent people. You never tried to push her into doing anything, so she thought you wanted to stay here - but then that business with Karen and Kirika happened, and she finally worked up the courage to get this over with." She gives you a pointed look. "What I was going to say is, 'don't screw this up.' I'm not sure she could do this again, at least not here." You frown.

"Everyone's supposed to die in a week or so anyway, right? At least this way their deaths will be productive." Agito stares at you, then frowns.

"That's … a distinct point. The first part, anyway … and weren't you looking forward to fighting that Witch?" You shrug.

"Yes, but, I read some of Homura's notes. Weather manipulation and storms." It takes a moment, but then Agito figures it out. "And there's making sure nothing happens to Lutecia, and since it seems to like throwing buildings around, that might be hard to do." Agito grimaces.

"I bet you feel like this has been a bit of a wasted trip, huh? No fun fights, and some bad things happened to you." She seems to be trying to console you, and you smile at her.

"Maybe." You don't explain, about the good times and the fun you had with Lutecia. Things didn't go the way you wanted them to … but you probably wouldn't call it a waste. "Was there anything else you wanted to tell me?"

"I … I guess not. Just … thanks. Thank you for helping Lutecia." You grin and tousle her hair.

What do you do?

[ ] Start the ritual tomorrow.
[ ] Start the ritual the day after.

[ ] During the Day.
[ ] During the Night.

[ ] Residential Area.
[ ] Business area.
[ ] Downtown/Market.
[ ] Move between them.

[ ] Anything else you want to accomplish?

DM Note: That last bit would be things like trying to get someone to come with you (I'll tell you right now, it'll be hard, due to the circumstances, but you'd have a better shot at getting Sayaka than anyone else to come willingly), whether you want to give any of the Grief Seeds you took from the Church to someone, etc.

Question, if Flan return to Gensokyo would that be consider a bad end? Or would it be consider as pit stop world and she had a chance to leave thowards another world? I imagine Remilia won't allow Flan to leave again due to many reason...

I'm thinking let Lutecia rest up first, and of course, we work in favorable conditions.

Bad End is reserved for Flan being taken out of action in such a manner that Remilia has to either personally save her or take revenge for her death. Returning to Gensokyo would not necessarily end the quest ... although getting back in a manner that doesn't tip off Remilia and force you to try and work around her might be just a bit difficult.
