Hang on, Madoka's Witch has been "dealt with"?
Did Oriko off Madoka when we weren't looking?
... Kind of?
...
You end up waiting for several hours before Homura staggers in. You start to speak, but your voice dies when you get a better look at her. She looks at you with despair-darkened eyes, her normally-impassive face is loose and slack, and it takes her several tries to lock the door. She takes a few steps in, then stops, finally seeming to see you. You clear your throat.
...
"I've … been looking. Across the city. All night. Can't find her." You glower. "… She's dead."
You didn't think Homura was that broken up over Mami's death, did you?

Unhappy Flan is unhappy.

*Blink* Why didn't she restart then? I mean that's practically her whole thing.
She can't (yet):
...
"There are … quite a few places I could start. I don't know which is best, though, so I'll start with what I know. You all know my powers to be time-stopping and an effectively limitless storage space. Those are … useful abilities … but they aren't the primary ability granted by my wish. That ability is a limited power to travel into the past." She pauses, and her eyes flick toward you for an instant. "I can return to the 16th of March from the 1st of May, and I have done so …," her eyes screw shut, "… fifty-nine times so far."
...
She can't do a reboot until she hits May 1.

Please, no. If you must do a write-in, keep in mind that Flan is exhausted, is freaking out because part of her world-view might be crumbling, and she's very angry. Append it under 'Bottle it up' if you want to keep it.

Second, I'm going to explicitly veto the second part, because that's Quest Bad End right there. Flan cannot survive a planet exploding beneath her.

Dang. How about just breaking Japan (without warning, if necessary to keep in touch with her temper), then? Whilst floating out of range of shrapnel and explosions and stuff, obviously.

... It is theoretically possible for Flandre to break an island, yes. She's never tried rearranging geography like that, and it's fairly out of character - if she wants to kill a bunch of people, she's going to do it personally and collect a lot of useful blood while doing it. In practical concerns, no one else is going to believe she can until she actually demonstrates geography-rearranging power, at which point she is going to rapidly become Enemy of the World, and you have to give a lenient enough time frame for Kirika to be found and 'surrendered' to Flan - and without some demonstration of power (which will probably result in being deemed persona non grata by the Incubators and thus subject to Hit Squads), most people are going to go "What did this person do to get a crazy kid demanding her hide on public television?"

Also, making sure that Lutecia and Agito survive is kind of something to keep track of, because they're an awful lot squishier than Flan is. Also, Homura, Sayaka, and Kyouko, because they're not likely to take the destruction of their homes lightly (even if Homura is more concerned with making sure she doesn't die so she can loop).

Yeah, three hours isn't nearly enough time to find them, force Kirika to return, and actually get her there.

Six hours, or twelve hours, then? After all, we're dealing with a precog; she should be able to tell what will happen if our demands aren't met.

As for it being OOC, I see Flan as someone who'd take extreme measures rather than let such a major pillar of her life simply get smashed aside.

Shoulda killed them when we had the chance. Or gone to kill them with Mami.

Hmmm....

Okay, I'm pretty sure we can still find them.

We go to Kyubey, we have him find a girl who can become a Magical Girl, and we convince that girl to use her wish to locate Kirika. We can also bring out Karen to help us assassinate Kirika. And hell, maybe even let her go! A Magical Girl with a power of finding things, plus a Magical Girl that wrecks other Magical Girls, is a potent combination if they'll work together.

Kyubey may even give his best efforts in this endeavor, if he expects that much Grief out of things.

So yeah. A Magical Girl's wish, will probably trump their protections. Wishes breaking reality is kind of the point.

Main obstacle is getting people to work together, and social is not Flan's strongest suit even if she's relatively sane. But this seems like a viable plan.

As much as I hate to say it, Mami's death I am not so bothered by. Given how she was in denial of the witch-bomb, she was basically a ticking time bomb before going "full tetris".

Now, of course, the issue is that because Mami failed, Oriko and Kirika were allowed to get away with killing Madoka too. I would complain about such a huge gotcha being hidden behind something with little warning, but given how hax precog is, chances are that Oriko would of succeeded anyways even if we did go along (they probably would of gotten out of there early if we went along, because Oriko knows she could not win that fight), and would of found some other way to kill Madoka.

Basically, Madoka was essentially doomed the instant Oriko contracted, which happened way before we got there...

Come to think of it, we can probably skip the tracking if we can get a girl to wish Kirika to be teleported right in front of us, then butcher Kirika. Possibly all three of the trio.

Pitching it to a prospective Magical Girl may not even be hard. "These three Magical Girls murdered an innocent Magical Girl, and without your help they will escape justice. If you can wish them here, I can take care of them immediately."

Cue wish to screw them over, or wish vengeance upon them.

If Kyubey collaborates, this wish can probably be relatively easily arranged.

Leverage we have with Kyubey includes a bunch of information we chose not to offer, and various Soul Gems we have that he may want back. Including the strike force from another dimension. We'll pretty much never use them, but Kyubey may be interested in having them here.

Kyubey....probably doesn't care about us in this dimension, unless we've started ruining the masquerade during the last day, so it should be doable.

So yeah. I think we can still kill Kirika.

What I'm thinking is that we could have Flandre convince a potential magical girl to bring Kirika and maybe Orika to her with a wish. She can then kill them in front of the new magical girl in an excessively brutal manner which would cause the new magical girl to at least gain a lot of grief from witnessing the bloodshed, possibly even witching out. Kyuubey gets what he wants by getting another witch out of the deal, and Flandre gets what she wants by killing the people who slighted her.

More or less what I was thinking, yeah. We may need to sweeten the pot for Kyubey, but it otherwise sounds like a deal where both can get what they want.

Sweetening the deal might be needed, but I see little reason for Kyuubey to refuse outright seeing as the magical girls Flandre wants to kill aren't likely to witch out anytime soon. Not to mention that if Flandre gets really angry, she might just decide to do something extreme. Most people excepting Headless do not like it when Flandre does stress relief.

Anyways, here's a vote I have in mind:
[X] Bottle it up
- [X] Keep looking - strike up a deal with Kyuubey to have a magical girl wish Kirika and her associates teleported to your location

Works for me. Putting them on the Incubator's radar and guiding us there would also be acceptable, but I'd rather get this done fast.

Also, kill all of them, so that they can't take revenge on us. We do this, we do it right, and we end it all today.
