Firebird, a Worm AU/Xover?

I thought Phoenix Force extended across the entire Marvel Multiverse though? I refuse to call it an omniverse no matter how infinite it may be, but it is still pretty big.

I like to personally believe in the Branch Multiverse myself, in that Multiverses are in there own right are tight clusters of localized Universes, and that there are separate Multiverses connected to each other in a large pattern, or in their own 'branches' of existence. Sorta like how a tree can have a branch, and then that branch can have many smaller branches, and those branches can have smaller branches of their own. But each branch is both separate and yet part of the tree and in turn the other branches as a whole.

Well, the only downside to this is that you just dropped the equivalent of an eldritch god in the middle of Harry Potter. The Phoenix Force could bitch slap the entities with both hands and legs metaphorically tied behind its back. Taylor is just going to hilariously pwn everything.

Good stuff. Look forward to more updates :p

At least this time Taylor got an ally on Professor Singer. He might not be the coolest or warmest teacher, but when is time to protect his studends he's a Stonewall against petty corruption.

I can't wait for the moment when Sophia do something and Blackwell informs Singer that as a Ward she has inmunity to punishments of any kind.

And thus begins the purging of Sophia from the Wards roster.

...And subsequent transfer...

I really like how you write Armsmaster, most turn him into some kind of completely socially inept glory hound caricature but in both of your fics I've read he comes across as a real character you can sympathize with and get behind, so kudos

To start with, yes, fairly low... but it will ramp up. At what rate? We'll see...

Also, the precognition can be forced to greater levels, at the cost of a headache/nosebleeds(as she pushed it enough in a bad moment to try and see if there was ANY path to change what went on at Winslow. Her starting point only included facts she herself knew, however, so was flawed. (She is currently working from a flawed assumption on how it works and it hasn't quite registered to her on its exact function)

How long will Earth Bet survive? Hm. I gave a teenage girl with emotional issues related to grief and an extended bullying campaign targeting her access to a cosmic power.... This cannot possibly go wrong, now can it?

Not worse than giving same girl total control of vectors I am sure

What they said, though I guess it depends on the writer or retcon.

I'll say this. I work from the standpoint that pretty much any of the Marvel Cosmic Pantheon wouldn't even bat an eye at the Entities. Marvel Universe chews them up for breakfast. However, Phoenix has, as represented within the comics over the years, been wildly inconsistent(Pretty much any host should be the 'You do not screw this person. Ever') but Rachel Summers was host for a long time and as she was in a monthly serial, got powered down hugely because she was 'holding back' or whatnot.

Like, I genuinely recall an Excalibur special where she was getting smacked around by a villain who had the powers of various X-Men... and then in a later issue of the main series, she was smacking Galactus around. So, writing is inconsistent. I'm trying to reconcile that, so Taylor starts small here. Where she'll go, well, we'll see.

Who says she's even a Ward and in any way beholden to the authority of Great Teacher Armsmaster?
