Firebird, a Worm AU/Xover?

I meant the fake parts sorrlrounding the crystal? Or is that fake also.
I can't actually find the part that spells it all out specifically in the Lisa interlude, and I can't be bothered searching through the rest of the chapters. TVTropes includes them as part of the silicon based lifeform trope, and we're never really told much more about how they work exactly. We are told that their external layers are basically for show/defense, and even their skeleton is just a puppet for the core/whatever to operate a body in the world to fulfill whatever their goal is though.

Can't be bothered looking for exact bits, but I'm pretty damn sure they're just straight up not living. It seems the simplest and most obvious conclusion to draw from it.

Oh well, back on tangent.

I'm curious to how jealous Ziz is gonna be once Taylor meets her brothers.

@chibipoe I'm a bit lost on the timeline.

I'm pretty sure at least 2 months have passed in story, but how much time was it between trigger and start?

The bit you're not looking for was when Blasto tried to make a Mini-me for The Simurgh (What an IDIOT!).

Ziz is a manipulative, controlling, and a perfectionist.

Who da hell do you think the father is.

Don't hurt me!

One thing, that struck me reading this chapter, is that Taylor does not realise, that she could just leave.

There it nothing really keeping here in this city. Not Danny. Not being a hero, as they are needed everywhere. Not school. Not even friends, really. She it free to travel, to see other cities, either as Sirin or incognito. She can go wherever she want. Even if it is not permanent, she can just go on to holidays. See New York. Visit Chickago. Hell, with her flying she is not restricted to USA. She can visit Canada if she wants.

Had she ever wanted to see Grand Canyon? Now, with ability to fly, it would be a sight to behold.

Had she ever tried to see how under the see looks like? She can now take buble of air with her, look around, and not even wet her toes. Are southern seas really as blue as in photos?

Now, Taylor still lives in the past. When will she realise, that she don't have to?

She can travel. She can meet new people. She can go wherever she wants. She can do what she wants. She is free.

Nahhhh....Leaving isn't that easy.

In fact Leaving is the hardest option a human can take in a bad situation.

The one force greater than even the almighty PF, The Shipping Chart.
Somebody say Shipping Chart?

His Holiness, The Shipping Chart

Bright red arrow = one-way hatred/strong dislike/enmity
Dark red line = mutual dislike/mistrust/wariness/annoyance/frustration
Dark red arrow = one-way dislike/mistrust/wariness/annoyance/frustration
Bright green line = strong friendship and trust
Dark green line = friendship
Pink line = mutual romantic feelings
Pink arrow = one-sided romantic feelings
Blue line = part of same team/organization
Blue arrow = boss/superior of the one pointed at
Yellow line = knowledge of each other's civilian identities
Yellow arrow = knowledge of person pointed at's civilian identity
Dashed yellow arrow = Suspects the person's civilian identity)

EDIT 6/18/2015: Misspelled Shadow Stalker's name, but I'm too lazy to fix it.

Given, there aren't any ships on there yet...

I think Taylor doesn't like Panacea either when they met. Just a heads up. I could be wrong though.

But man, that is a lot of red lines coming from Taylor.

... That's very comprehensive... I'm impressed :).
