As before, the other options would have all still meant that the PRT would become aware in some manner that the giant had the wing for several days, as giving them the wing would have meant tacitly admitting to prior possession. Which would also put 'Simurgh tool?' on his file, if indeed said note has been added to his file for this act of Wing Yeeting.

With this way of disposal we have simply kept Taylor and Gravwell clear of suspicion and interest.

Also, it was funny as hell and nobody actually got hurt, and nothing got damaged beyond maybe the Rig's missile budget.

Also voting for this as a means of keeping QA contented, that way we maybe don't have QA too over-energetic when it comes to voting for stupid but conflict laden things.

Yup, that went pretty much exactly how we had hoped it would. A bit anti-climactic, but safe. And funny XD

Plus, the wing is likely mostly fine even after being shot at - it's the fricking Simurgh! - so now they can fish it out of the water and do analysis or whatever.

    It's lightly raining outside as Taylor stared at the bus map. Perhaps that's why so few people were out and about today?

    For a relatively nice day, sans the rain, there was hardly anyone outside. It was somewhat strange if Taylor was being honest. This was the first day that the weather had gone at least ten degrees above freezing of the year- during her stay at the hospital the weather had flipped from staying right around freezing to getting to tolerable temperatures. Heck, the slush had mostly disappeared from the streets!

    Hence her surprise at the lack of people that she could see on the sidewalk from the bus terminal she was standing at. It wasn't even that much rain, more mist if anything.

    Her musings on foot-traffic density were cut short when her cellphone started to buzz.

    Flipping it open, she saw the newest part of her daily routine; her dad calling her after school every day.

    It was something of a natural extension of him finding out she had a cellphone- he wanted to check in with her every day after school. Especially after last week.

    ...Taylor had to argue him down from calling every hour after school ended.

    "Hi dad."

    "I'm feeling fine."

    "No, I'm not at home."

    "I'm going on a walk, I'll be back before you get home-"

    "…"

    "Yes, I promise."

    "No, it's just-

    "I'm not going anywhere dangerous!"

    "I have 911 set in my contacts."

    "…"

    "Love you."

    With a click, the call ended and she closed the circular device, before slipping it back into her pocket.

    Now where to patrol...

    Author's note: I never know what to say for these types of chapters. I don't like having two different votes in the same chapter hence why these chapters usually get their own even if its less than five hundred words.

    Some day I may get a more elegant solution, but alas, I'll make do for now.

    I did add the territory tags as far as Taylor knows.
