[X] North (Docks, Trainyard & Boat Graveyard)
The northern stretch of Brockton Bay stunk, most days.
Trash was thrown out on to it, stagnant ponds of waste sat around, people lived and expired on the street corner. Throngs of people with haunted looks sold their lives away from what little happiness they could find.
It was remarkably bad for even Brockton Bay.
Yet during the winter that transformed; the smell wasn't as bad. Waste was covered up in drifts of snow. People weren't as visible… it was easier for average person to not see the failures of the city under the blanket of white.
It went without saying that it was the most dangerous part of the city excluding any of the gangs.
As Taylor trudged through the light flurry, she couldn't help but ponder whether or not she looked like an easy mark. She was walking by herself through a dangerous part of town. No one else knew she had a power to safeguard her.
Truthfully, even with said power, it was unnerving to walk through this area.
Which buildings had power let her know just how abandoned this area really was. Maybe three in five did.
Her plan was to make it to the trainyard and then from there to swing around the boat graveyard's shore.
Next time I should plan the route ahead of time.
The thought stilled as she walked around the corner, trying to cut towards the railroad hub.
A gas station had come into view.
Normally that wouldn't matter much.
Normally there wasn't a cross between a big rig and a madman's idea of a tank sitting across the road, with a turret pointed at a gas pump.
The front of the vehicle looked like a half dozen V8 engines had been bolted on in defiance of common logic. It was armoured in every other spot, with a dozen guns attached, some of them clearly large enough they could bring down a building. There was also the trailer that was hooked up to it, rusted metal lined it, an odd shape forming that Taylor couldn't quite grasp it's purpose.
"Fucksticks stay where ya pissin' and gimme everything or I'll blow you cocksuckers to the moon!"
A distinct voice called out as someone wearing the cheapest looking costume Taylor had seen pointed at the pump.
Taylor…
[] ...had the giant to rip the vehicle in half. That'll stop it from firing!
[] ...had the giant grab Skidmark(?). It's hard to threaten when you've been caught.
[] ...walked away. She doesn't want to make the situation worse. That gun could go off any moment.
Author's note: I'm still struggling on how to do combat encounter voting.
The random table decided Merchants. Yay.
Not quite 24 hours later but I tried! I really did!
