Well... Bad news folks my writers and I have hit a pretty solid writer's block, however, I still got just over a months worth of updates before I run out of what I have backed up though so you shouldn't feel it for a while but between assignments and exams... I'm not sure how long it'll be before I finish writing the latest segment. previously I've been writing equivalent to 1 and a half updates a week, however, over the last 3 weeks I've managed 1, so y'know might be a problem later you might not even feel it.
Also, can anyone remember whether the Emiya residence (Fate/stay night) had ley-lines near it? I think I heard Kiritsugu mention something like that in Fate/Zero but I don't trust my memory.

I open my eyes tiredly, what's happening? where am I?, I was having such a pleasant dream… is that Caster from fate? It's a pretty good cosplay. My head rolls to the side and I see my hand, that's a yellow power ring, then I remember and it feels like the world snaps into focus. Then I notice the pain, oh my the pain. Ring fix my body and mind now!
y-you didn't remember what you did? You don't deserve to live.
"Command confirmed."
"Get up now!"
That feels better.
Caster raises her hand and launches a spell... blast? at someone, I can't see. Who is she fighting?
"Alert exotic potentially magical effect altering corpsman."
"If any of the rest of you want to help I would be grateful! I can't bring my magic to bear like this!"
Right she doesn't have a master to draw mana from if she fights she will expend all her mana and fade away. I sit upright, so either get her more mana or take her off the front line and considering, even I'm not that fast... I'll take her off the front line. I raise my hand and generate several MAC cannons, I can't see who we're fighting, there's a ball of… black wind? Why didn't we feel that earlier?
Oh well, I have the mac cannons launch tungsten rods at supersonic speed through roughly the centre of the ball as I pull myself up and dust myself off.
BOOM!! As the Mac cannons fire sending the rods at above the speed of sound, a sonic boom nearly blows out my eardrums.
"Fall back now."
"H-how are you standing?!"
The ball disperses as something is knocked out of it at supersonic speed.
"I can heal myself as long as I'm conscious princess." Or have ring charge but she doesn't need to know that.
Caster seems more than a little uncomfortable with me calling her that, perhaps I should stop. Miyu and Illya float and step down beside us looking a little lost.
"W-what is that? Why is she not attacking us? Why are her clothes different?" one at a time Illya.
I check that the ball of wind isn't approaching us at speed before answering Illya's questions, it is approaching but not an anything above a walking. That'll give us... oh fifteen seconds at least.
"Ahem, in order, I don't know, I have freed her mind so she is no longer being corrupted and controlled by the card and I don't know."
"If you know I'm a princess then you know my name, don't you?"
I nod and turn to her performing another bow.
"Yes, princess."
She flinches, this can't be good.
"Then use it, calling me princess brings has... unfortunate connotations."
Oh shit, I stand upright.
"Very well Medea, Medea is fine right?."
Caster appears... to have that expression of confirming something you know.
"That will do fine."
I nod again and turn back to the ball of wind. Ring scan.

Right, so that leaves Lancelot Berserker? Wait 'she'? probably gender-bent in classic fate style, but he didn't have a sword? Illya and Miyu try firing... magic? At it.
The bottom half of my body collapses, what? I look down. Why do I still have this injury? Ring?
The magical girls' attacks are not particularly effective.
"Exotic magical effect altered the corpsman."
That can't be good, can you heal me now?
"Confirmed."
Then do it.

I wonder what that was about? Ah, shit that's getting a bit close. I fire another barrage out of the MAC cannon.
Boom! Only two rods are launched this time but they still manage to knock whatever's inside the ball back. Ring explain.

"It's another heroic spirit, she was here with me for a while."
Rin looks shocked.
"That's… impossible how could two heroic spirits manifest in the same mirror world."
Ring make more tungsten rods.

Instead of bending it in on itself until it doesn't exist, this time I merely bend the beam away from us.

The black ball of wind has dispersed, as an anti-fortress class noble phantasm is launched at me. Then it bends into the bridge wiping it out, sending rubble crumbling to the ground and the river. Alright, that was lucky, I don't know if I can keep that up. But if I remember correctly she shouldn't be able to do that again for a while due to mana consumption.
"Ex-"

Playing the class cards as trapped heroic spirits is definitely new. Except in Child!Gil's case, I don't think it would hold up to canon, but I think it was a very good decision, narratively.

It's the Einsbern Castle on the forest that's above a major ley-line. The Tohsaka residence, the Matou residence, the City Hall, Mt. Enzou, Ryoudou Temple, Hyatt Hotel(?), and the Church are on top of major leylines.
The City Hall, Ryoudou Temple, and Mt. Enzou are on top of major leyline convergence points. That's why they're the places where the Grail is likely to manifest during a Grail War.
Also, the residence of Kiri is different in Prillya than the one in Post-Zero. The Emiya Residence, aka the large house Stay Night Shirou lives in, also has a ley-line running below the shed where the magic circle is.
It's never really mentioned if there's a leyline in Prillya!Kiri's house. Heck, there's no sign that there is a bounded field around it at all.

I think that the Prillya!Emiya House does not need protections, for the simple fact that no mage would try to attack there and risk Kiritsugu pulling on their family what him and Irisviel pulled on the rest of the Einzbern (aka: extermination).

I drag them out of the way just in time for them to avoid being incinerated by Excalibur. That was far too close, so then that is a variant of Arturia Pendragon but I don't remember any version that uses a black blade? wait, no I do the Alter grail corrupted version right?
"kyaa-" two screams ring out.
"Rin!, Luvia!" A panicked Illya calls out.
"Right, that should be King Arthur."
No response, I look down. Ah, shit, I didn't watch for debris, ring are they alive?
S-something scratches at a lock.
"Confirmed."
Good now I can focus on the noble phantasm, and it's a pretty bloody strong noble phantasm too, ok I'm gonna be honest with myself here my attacks don't actually seem to do all that much against servants so I don't know if I'm gonna be able to stop her. Saber raises her sword again.
"Oh no, you don't." I have the Ring generate another mac cannon, loading it with more tungsten rods.
T-The chains rattle.

"-Cali-" there's a loud Boom! The rod of metal connects with Sabers head producing enough force to turn a normal person to mush. However, in this case, it merely sends her flying back into the rubble of the mirror world city. Fuck your servant bullshit, your not even playing by your own rules right now.

Hmm… I'm not sure if that possible, Saber only wants to erase herself from history and without the grail- I glance at Illya and Miyu- that's not possible, hell this might not even be this worlds Saber. I take a look at her fears…
I see the burden of being king that I fear but know I must withstand - to be expected she was but a child - I see my nation that I swore to preserve tearing itself apart because of my actions - so this should be where Mordred becomes involved. - A treacherous knight is at the front of their army, another example of how I failed. - was Mordred Arturias fuck up? I mean she probably could have accepted her as her son? Daughter? Who the fuck knows with fate, - I put my lance through their chest and when the helmet falls off I see my own face looking back at me. - personally, I think this was more merlin's fuck up, I mean you can give someone a dick but not make sure the have sex with the right person? - I'm dragged away from the battlefield I see my country in ruins, it's all my fault - not seeing anything I don't already know or can use here. - I have brought nought but strife to my country and I must make recompense, the grail can save Britain. - well her desire is fucked considering the grail of this world apparently doesn't exist.
I snap back to the real world and shake my head, ooh boy that hurt.
"There's nothing I can use to goad her into breaking the spell here."
Probably, at least there's nothing I can use from her fears to motivate her to fight back. Stupid Arturia and her one-track mind, I mean didn't she actually fall in love with Shirou and still refused to allow herself a happy ending. Illya and Miyu move forward to engage Saber, who raises her sword again. She's gonna use her noble phantasm again, bloody hell how much mana does she have? I use the ring to prepare to dodge out of the way with Medea, and the two unconscious bodies.

Saber parries my heavy bolter fire with ease, shattering the constructs as if she was hitting a batting average. At least it's distracting her, Ring see if we can't get Rin and Luvia in their feet.
"I'm not putting a dent in her!"

I dematerialize my unfortunately ineffective heavy bolters as Illya attempts to launch another purple scythe at Saber, who parries it easily.
"I-I can't hit her!"
Miyu's out and frankly not looking good, Ring checks her condition. The fool took an indirect hit, looks like she lost an arm and now Illya's starting to panic. Medea is doing her level best to provide me with fire support without using all of her mana reserves.
"Subject 'Miyu' is currently alive, however, if subject 'Miyu' does not receive assistance it will expire."
"We need to fall back!"
Ring what kind of charge do I have?
"40% charge remaining."
Goddamn those void shields are a gas guzzler, although I probably should have recharged when we previously retreated.

Illya's not listening. Goddammit. I take one of the metal rods out of subspace and hold it with both hands then charge Saber, this is a terrible idea isn't it?

Illya is now on her knees next to Miyu appearing to breakdown, dammit why can't you be cold and effective with a happy exterior like you're supposed to be? I deflect Sabers strike with what is basically a glorified pipe, striking her in the face with the base of it. I use the ring to send Miyu and Illyas forms to Medea and the other unconscious bodies.
"Urke."
I look down, oh god dammit not again. I watch as Saber pulls her blade out of my gut again, ring cut the pain.
I collapse to my knees and also get me out of here.

The scenery flickers and I see Saber bring her sword down on where I just was, I collapse onto the ground and as my vision starts to blacken I see Medea trying to wake up a frozen Illya.

Saber sends a slash of… Mana? Something through the air, seeming to rely on speed rather than power.
Archer Illya blocks it with a purple flower, wait I recognise it what was it called? Dust kicks up around her obscuring my view, by the time it clears Archer Illya is slashing down at Saber with two familiar blades one black and one white.
Huh, I guess she worked out how it worked.
Saber blocks the strike seeming to put Archer Illya off balance for a second trying to get another swing into her, Illya frankly, does an impractical flip backwards to gain distance. Then she lands and they stare each other down, It appears that Illya was actually hit by that last strike with blood dripping down her left side.
"That's not gonna last long." I pull the lantern out of whatever subspace the ring stores it in.
"Unbelievable." Miyu appears dumbfounded.
"I agree, however, I am not too confident about using magic that will hurt Saber at my current mana levels…" Medea trails off, we're gonna have to recharge her…
"Her appearance, her fighting prowess."
That's gonna be awkward later…
"What is that?" Medea appears to be interested in my lantern.
Illya and Saber go back and forth with Illya pretty clearly on the back foot.
"A little something that'll help out,-"
I raise my ring pointing it at my lantern.
"-In blackest day in brightest night,
come see your fears made into light,
let those who fail to fear my might,
burn like my power, and die in my light!"

"Was all that really necessary?" Medea doesn't appear pleased with the Oath.
I nod.
"Unfortunately it refuses to charge if I don't go through the entire thing."
Medea shakes her head as Illya is kicked to the ground in front of us, I guess that my cue. Raising my fist I blast Saber in the face with a beam of fear and light, forcing her to see her failure and just straight up smacking her in the face with a construct beam. All of that barely forcing her to take a single step back. However, Saber appears to regain the initiative and swings her sword through the blast, narrowly allowing me to avoid the strike. Once the constructs fade I look down and see two short swords piercing her chest, It appears that Illya got back up.
"Why thank you."
The blades twist and Saber fades into a card, which I grab out of the air.
"..."
Illyas eyes remain fixed on me, something looks different. I cock my head to the side, she follows the movement. Ring let's look inside that mind.
"Command confirmed."
I'm a child I look up and she to people tha-Mother and Father I love them so much. It's Kiritsugu and Irisviel I believe, I know of things the holy grail war the servants, this knowledge has been implanted in me from birth. That's unexpected I thought that started after Kiritsugu ended the war? Oh well, no useful information there, they're talking are they going to leave? Please don't leave me. I-they're talking about sealing her away from this, that explains how Illya ended up like this I suppose. Hey at least this means she didn't get the ten years of torture, are her magic circuits still supergrailified?
A card falls out of her chest, which I catch and she passes out and lands heavily.

Saber parries my heavy bolter fire with ease, shattering the constructs as if she was hitting a batting average. At least it's distracting her, Ring see if we can't get Rin and Luvia in their feet.
"I'm not putting a dent in her!"
"Command confirmed."
I dematerialize my unfortunately ineffective heavy bolters as Illya attempts to launch another purple scythe at Saber, who parries it easily.
"I-I can't hit her!"
Miyu's out and frankly not looking good, Ring checks her condition. The fool took an indirect hit, looks like she lost an arm and now Illya's starting to panic. Medea is doing her level best to provide me with fire support without using all of her mana reserves.
"Subject 'Miyu' is currently alive, however, if subject 'Miyu' does not receive assistance it will expire."
"We need to fall back!"
Ring what kind of charge do I have?
"40% charge remaining."
Goddamn those void shields are a gas guzzler, although I probably should have recharged when we previously retreated.
"I'm serious here I can't keep this up forever!"
Illya's not listening. Goddammit. I take one of the metal rods out of subspace and hold it with both hands then charge Saber, this is a terrible idea isn't it?
"Huwa-huwa-huwa."
Illya is now on her knees next to Miyu appearing to breakdown, dammit why can't you be cold and effective with a happy exterior like you're supposed to be? I deflect Sabers strike with what is basically a glorified pipe, striking her in the face with the base of it. I use the ring to send Miyu and Illyas forms to Medea and the other unconscious bodies.
"Urke."
I look down, oh god dammit not again. I watch as Saber pulls her blade out of my gut again, ring cut the pain.
I collapse to my knees and also get me out of here.
"Command confirmed."
The scenery flickers and I see Saber bring her sword down on where I just was, I collapse onto the ground and as my vision starts to blacken I see Medea trying to wake up a frozen Illya.

Lantern lore is actually extremely Nasu compatible; the White Entity is basically Gaea (source of all life, life goes kaput when it does, lives on Planet Earth and has the most creations there) and so while it may be from off Earth, the ring and lantern are likely still "of earthly make", that is, from Gaea's version of reality rather than one of the other ones

The light's of the Mirror world dimension hop or whatever it is fades, the bridge and surrounding area are no longer destroyed and everyone is still alive. All things considered, that's a plus, I even succeeded in bringing caster back to life? Existence? Consciousness? Either way, things went well.
Ring heal my compatriots.

A yellow like goes over Illya, Rin and Luvia fixing the cuts, scrapes, concussions and broken bones that they have.
"Ugnn." "Ngh." "Ooo." Ah, it appears my patients are waking up.
I watch and Rin and Luvia groggily pull themselves upright, I smile and wave at them.
"Good morning ladies,-" I say with a cheery inflexion on my voice, I gesture to where Medea is standing off to the side. "-meet Medea, the heroic spirit known as Caster. Medea-" I gesture back to Luvia and Rin "Rin and Luvia, modern mages sent to clean up the situation of the cards."
All five girls look bewildered.
"So… it actually worked?" Luvia's voice is dripping with something between disappointment and shock.
It doesn't appear that Luvia had faith in my plan, but I nod vigorously then gesture to the two magical girls standing with us.
"Yes quite, oh, also Miyu, Illya-" I gesture back to Caster, "-Medea, Medea-" I gesture back to the magical girls, "Miyu and Illya, do try and get along, apparently we are trying to cooperate."
Medea appears sceptical.
"Trying to cooperate? You managed to break me out of that hell."
I nod.
"Yes, now imagine if I knew for sure it would work, or even frankly what I was doing."
Everyone takes a step back at that.
"You-" "wha-" "why -" "huh?" the conglomeration of noise appears to stop everyone in their tracks. We all take a moment to stare at each other, one second passes, another.
"OOK, one at a time.-" I point at Medea.
"-Given you've been mind-controlled and just woke up, you go first."
She nods.
"Right, what do you mean you had no idea if that would work?"
"I didn't know what I was doing, you probably did more to free yourself than I did."
Her jaw drops.
"What? I thought you were using magic from the outside?"
I shrug.
"Do I look like I can use magic? you broke free yourself."
Her eyes go wide as she keels over covering her mouth.
"Uhkugh." She appears to be sick.
"So yeah I'll let you recover for a minute.-"
I point to Luvia.
"-so your question."
Luvia drags her eyes away from a collapsed Caster.
"Were you lying when you spoke about the cards?"
I nod and turn my head.

"Because I know things, have the means and the will to act on them and don't want the magus association to dissect me. I know the tragedy of many people and want to do a little bit to fix it." That's as good an explanation as any.

She nods, I imagine dark clouds gathering around her head.

Her face scrunches up at me, I can almost imagine tears.
"-You had lost control before so it became par for the course."
Her head returns to her hands.
"I could have freed myself all along."
I nod.
"Well, yes but you lacked the motivation and will to do so."
Her shoulders start shaking, as tears start to drip from her face, oh my I didn't expect quite such a strong reaction. At least I don't have to imagine tears anymore.
"Everything was my fault."
I put my hand under her chin and pull her head up.
"Hey now, brave face in front of the younger mages.-"
She shudders whimpering, oh dear she's actually starting to fade.
"-uhh, Medea-" I pull her to her feet.
"-I'd rather you didn't fade away rig-"
She grabs my tie and pulls me close, wha- ok that's a kiss from a princess.

Hmm… should I give them the Saber card? I suppose I don't really need it? I hold up the second card.
"Now then which one of you wants this."
"I'll take-" "hand it to me-" both Rin and Luvia stop and stare at each other.
"I think that you shouldn't give it to a twin-tailed hag!" Five-pointed star stick… Ruby speaks up.
"I do not believe it would be productive to hand it to Luvia." six-pointed star stick, sapphire? Speaks up as well.
I sigh, traitors the lot of them? Well, I think I read somewhere that the fights between these two caused the clocktower no end of grief… maybe if I fix this maybe they won't send the magus association after me? Are they different organisations? "Ok here's an idea, how about you cooperate?-" Rin and Luvia visibly twitch at that suggestion, seems unlikely I'll succeed then. "-Well how about this, until you stop this petty in-fighting I'll keep it?"

"I supposed you should hang around with me." and I need to get a base of operations.

Maybe its the [/COLOR]?
Also isn't medea's reaction a bit extreme? I mean she just got summoned back into the world and hasn't really injured anyone.
Does MC have a decent amount of mana? Can Medea make a workshop? Considering archer!Illya doesn't need a master its a decent possibility that Medea won't need a master in this world and can provide her own mana with her workshop.
That said the MC looks like they would enjoy hanging out with medea anyway.
