I like the idea of hitting the goths with lightning. Is Stosneita still giving us +1 forward? Or do we need to re-invoke her?

Also: I Love that Riya tossed us the scarf, I am torn between saving up for the move that lets us not have to touch the focus so she can. Just keep it or if we make a new focus so she can keep it

Klappspaten literally means folding shovel/trench spade but is also used as a shorthand for idiot because while it's functional it looks really stupid. So, the intent I'm trying to convey is "Shameful idiot" (or maybe, "disgraced idiot shovel") while also playing on the sounds of Korporal Schwarz, as if the name was misheard.

I suppose we can't be afraid to ride the lightning. This being air magic makes sense, controlling the flow of something. Thanks for the suggestion from Pillowsperky about sky sharks.

    • You looked at Riya's scarf in your hand, white-knuckling it against the plane's yoke, and held it against your face. You hadn't really realized how scared you were until that moment. It felt like when you watched Riya get shot. Your body was in high gear, again, but you were just afraid, not exhilarated. You unhooked your oxygen mask, breathed the thin air, and spoke through the radio transmitter.

    "Herr Spade-Head, my only punishment is listening to you speak more, Dreckswichser. We're leaving, see you never." You kissed the scarf, took a deep breath through it, and turned your attention to a cloud passing close by overhead. You raised a hand, remembering what your mother taught you of opposing magic making clouds burst with light and sound, and pictured dragging that negative energy to the metal wires connecting your planes.

    "I'LL WEAR YOUR TAIL AS A BELT YOU BITCH!" The corporal yelled back.

    "LECK MICH AM ARSCH, HURENSOHN!" You yelled as you pulled your arm down and caused an explosion of energy to rip through the air and electrify the cables with a blinding flash. You felt dismayed, watching those young men fall from the cables, but it's not like you had a choice. You started giggling at what you'd done. You weren't sure why. This sure as shit wasn't funny, but you were laughing listening to the goth on the other end of the radio screaming obscenities at you. Over the sound of the yelling through the radio, you heard a screeching begin to creep in, like radio feedback, nearly imperceptible at first, but becoming louder and louder. The raiding craft began to accelerate above, still connected by harpoons.

    • Should we use Riding The Edge to commit to a hard turn? I'm willing to bet this beast of a war-time super bomber has enough Structure to survive ripping the harpoons out.
    Maybe with a dive to regain lost speed after, and perhaps more air magic to send this Spade-Head into a spin?

    Alternately, Water Magic to ice up their plane?

    Or just hit them with a bunch more lightning?

    I like that, let's call that a Daring roll and a hard turn. Also good follow-ups, you can make that an official vote if you want.
