[Exalted/SMT] Shard of a Broken Sun

[X] Alectai

Chances of one finding the particular world Amu lives on are much lower.
Writes on plan list:
6. Invent Charm to increase that chance.
--6A. Before using it invent another Charm to replicate Lytek's Cabinet, because non-souled shard or souled shard with basis soul fragments being mostly from asshole-tier Exalted can make situation worse.

Vote called.
[X] Plan Alectai.

Well, that was predictable. Now let's see how I can channel your wishes towards the destruction of the world.

We can rebuild it. Better, stronger, faster than before. We have the Wyld Cauldron Technology.

Would you rather I stop submitting plans?
Not even slightly. Your plans are good.

It's predictable mainly because I don't see a lot of other plans, so if you stopped submitting yours Amu would be in for a lot of trouble. :X

Actually, you don't, but that's okay. I can't imagine how it'd be useful.

I'd come up with something if I needed to, I'd just need to know what the Charms we have do. Since Alectai's knows the Charms already and is pretty good at planning, I just leave it to him.

Hum. If that's the problem, I could just copy the charm descriptions into her character sheet. How about it?

Reassuring then!

You did stress we were on SUPER HARD MODE, so I've been bringing my A-Game here.

I would plan but Exalted is not Dungeons the Dragoning, a straight forward, action packed and simple game to play.

If its not to much trouble.

The other main thing is that Alectai is better with words than I am, most of my plans would just be bullet points probably so while I could come up with a basic plan I'd probably still leave the polishing to Alectai, especially since I've also never played Devil Survivor.

I only know the Exalted end, so I can only help with general tactics and play strategy. No idea what's coming up from the other sides.

Anyway, I added some charms to the character sheet. And in the process discovered she must have used First Thrown Excellency, not Joint-Wounding Attack. Must have. The pattern spiders say so.

As far as lack of knowledge goes... you really shouldn't let that stop you, Amu doesn't know anything more anyway. Frankly, just being older than ten means you have valuable insight. :)

If Amu's the one you're unfamiliar with, try http://shugochara.wikia.com/wiki/Amu_Hinamori

Actually, according to the Errata:
Scroll of Errata page 24 said:
Joint-Wounding Attack (p. 195)
Cost: 2m
Keywords: Combo-OK, Crippling, Martial-ready
Prerequisite Charms: None
Martial-ready: Archery, Martial Arts, Melee.
So she could definitely have that without any Excellencies. And also use it with punches, melee weapons, bows, possibly firearms, and flamethrowers.

Baughn said:
Ah. That may be why I had it...

Which would you prefer it to have been?
Either's fine. Joint-Wounding is better because it's a really good debuff though. It means that big scary demon is operating on a fairly hefty reduction to whatever Amu "Targetted".

On the unfamiliarity thing, I've had only tangential exposure to SMT and my only experience of Shugo Chara is contextless pictures of cute girls on danbooru.

Agreed

So be it.

(And as she'd hit either way, that's probably the better charm. But geez, who gives a solar a ranged beam attack? ...I'll probably have to make up my own charms for this one, the other 'thrown' charms by and large make no sense.)

Solars can totally use Beams through Spirit Weapons! You just need to stat them like a throwing weapon!
