[Exalted, ?] Most High

Eh, probably not. Prophecies can't puppeteer individual Exalts, only control the circumstances they react to. We could try and distract Yurgen, point his horde in another direction by making his attacks against nations other than ours particularly successful and increasing the yield of their harvests, to make them more tempting targets. It's all a matter of circumstances, though; if he's sufficiently mad to push through the incidental penalties, then he can do that.
Ah,thank you,I confuse with Three Kindom prophecy that made every faction stalmate and get in each other way because fear of gang up by other faction.

I do like the idea of "Bind him to think we won't kill him, then kill him anyway"

But I doubt it'll work, out-cheating a cheat is pretty hard.

Damn.

Frankly, he's Confident that he'll be able to fuck us over later, he's plotting how he's going to do it. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some highly expensive trick that lets him dodge the consequences of a broken oath or something, or impose it on someone else. Or that he's confident in his ability to weather the backlash.

Seriously, he's straight up plotting how to fuck us over, I don't think any amount of Oaths we can impose on him will be enough to guarantee he doesn't. Nor, for instance, does it preclude him simply lying and fucking us over that way. We already know that Lunars have the ability to edit their memories--at least from Second Edition, one of their Perfect Social Defenses is "Editing my interpretation of a statement to make it impossible, and thus, free to resist"--and it won't count as a violation if he rewrites his memory of the information we want, and then answers truthfully after the oath is imposed.

Case in point? He could tell us about the secret of the Emerald Mountain, but edit the details in advance so that we end up triggering it's defenses instead of bypassing them. Then he just heads back, checks his cache of Important Information, goes "Ahhh, so that's what I did", and he ends up losing nothing, while sticking a knife in our hearts.

Never, Ever, treat with someone who not only is openly known as "The Treacherous", but Revels in it. It'll never end well. It's likely he doesn't even know that we have an Eclipse-esque, he might just be probing to get us to reveal that detail, while plotting another escape-route.

[X] Just Kill Him [+50,000 XP]

This guy must die. The guy literally is built to betray. Consider him Oddysial tier when it comes to betrayal and specced to that effect as well. Any information we get from him will be worthless. We might as well use him as sorcery ingredients. Can we do that? Turn him into a working that is entirely to our benefit? Perhaps empower the Jade Wench further?

... so on a scale of 1-10 how viable would us disguising ourselves as an Eclipse Caste Nilul while Nilul disguises herself as us be given our current charms?
Oh, wow. I wonder, would it be feasible to leave, have the Lily keep him under guard, and then return with Nilul as us, and us as Nilul? Five minutes is enough for Perfect Mirror, after all. Or would it be obvious that we're not the one sanctifying the oath?

Given that Perfect Mirror can fake the effects of an anima and for all intents and purposes convince onlookers that it has occurred I really don't see a problem with us doing so.
The Jade Wench.

Such an undignified name for such an interesting creation.
Pretty sure that's just Ragnar being an asshole and not her actual name. I just realized that we more or less had Ulyssian construct an inherently loyal child and not a single person raised an objection to the morality of it.

Huh.

You can probably get enough materials for a Working from him. Whether you'd want to work with such treasonous material, on the other hand, is a different question!

[x] Accept
-[x] Get the answers out of him with Nilul then kill him anyway
[x] House Cathak

House Cathak needs defanging, lets remove some of their funds shall we? I had considered screwing over the Bull, but I don't think we need to do that anymore than screwing over Ragmar will manage.

Hmm, the protean Essence of a Lunar's remains might be useful fodder for an empowerment Working. The question is whether or not treachery is ingrained deeply enough in his nature to sabotage the result.

That would be the perfect outcome, if Nilul can pull off the ruse. We might have to loan her Ambition for a brief period of time to make it convincing, though.

Hey, better unwavering loyalty than having our creation turn against us. 'Do not call up what you cannot put down,' that's the first rule of Sorcery. The second, of course, is arranging things so you don't need to put down what you call up.

So Rihaku would the plan outlined with Nilul disguising as us and Ulyssian disguising as her work? The rulebook says that the Eclipse Caste Mark flashes "imperceptibly" when sanctifying an oath so it shouldn't give away the game after the first oath.

... shit he might be able to tell based off of suddenly realizing he could steal Ambition. I suppose we could go with the traditional "bind all of our hands together while sanctifying an oath" type of charade, he likely hasn't ever been in an Eclipse oath and might shrug it off as another quirk/charm of Nilul's.

Alternatively, we could just banish Ambition into our anima and avoid that pitfall.

He's had access to the Bull of the North's circle, assuming he doesn't know how oathbinding works is folly.

Suddenly coming back lacking our N/A artifact blade might come off as a little strange when facing down an Elder Lunar, though I suppose it could be interpreted as an extreme gesture of trust in The Lily's capabilities.

Fair enough though so long as he feels the oaths take place (which Perfect Mirror+Nilul's own efforts will provide) a symbolic binding of our hands probably wouldn't be all that suspiciou. Doubly so if we phrase it in expansive ways such as "you will be able to leave in peace back to your lands" or "no harm or bondage will befall you over the next hour", after all from his PoV us switching places only to violate the oaths would be borderline crippling for Nilul. Or we could just banish Ambition and hope the Write-In effectiveness bonus tides over any problems there.

Just banish it before he leaves. Retrieving it is a reflexive action that costs nothing. It's really pretty standard for a Solar.

Actually, one of the ways to sanctify an oath requires touching hands.

[X] Render him into a Working
[X] A Great House (Cathak)

Accepting is folly, the only thing we could gain from him that wouldn't turn on us is perhaps a working or two. Personally we could use the working, his theme if any is betrayal and that is a useful thing to work with!

Seriously I am going to need word of god here to believe that we will actually get anything but tears from the accept option. And a lot more then that to even still believe it to be a not insane choice.
