Working on that with the omake I have been mentioning a few times before. And if we could get a contribution frenzy going now from the others too, well, that would be nice.
We're several updates away from Sorcery and Wokrings are pretty cheap, I'm not really worried. How many xp could Uly spend on Workings if he had let's say a week of time?

One at maximum. The base interval for one Working roll is one week.
EDIT: Gah, misread this. I read this as "How many Working could Uly make in a Week?". I really should not rush to answer to posts, as this often happens when I do so.

Hey that's just rude. It looked like it was losing for a little while there with your ruling on the neglect counting more for their total votes rather then anything specific in the neglect pile.

Which is why I advocate getting it next round if possible while we still have enough XP to get all 3 circles so all we have to worry about then is getting the XP for it. With Master of Sable, we'll be strong enough that we can afford to focus on Sorcery and with Nilul coming here and the actions we just took to overhaul Luseng and improve it, we can afford to not have to govern Luseng for a little while we get the sweet sweet Sorcery. As you said its
necessary to get the full benefits of Shining Metropolis and will help us in case we have to worry about the realm
coming after us. Then there's other benefits like time dilation(Time dilation + no need to sleep = ALOT of extra time our hands to get things done.)
Survive long enough to make it? Our other actions this turn still mean we get occult 5, we get the loyalty of the city, and it's bureaucracy has improved with more DB coming allowing us to take sabbaticals without fear of something going wrong in the future. This gives us a perfect opportunity to learn sorcery if we get the XP we just need to survive Anys Syn's retaliation first.

Honestly, she might try to turn Zao against you, promising that she'll do whatever she can do help Creation up to and including getting him a full Circle of non-Odyssial Solars to train, if he'll just help her kill and imprison Odyssial's shard.
After all, non-Odyssial Solars can always be put down after their usefulness has been outgrown by their madness.
