[X] That was absolutely rude, all that work put into building proper Dragonblooded Legion as it was in First Age and you ruin it, good move. Now I have to talk politics with Immaculate and teach history to my distant cousin because I don't relish thought of killing family member, even if they are dicks. We'll talk after I'm done herding exalted cats.
-[X] Start work with shikari reminding them that they and Imnaculate Order knew perfectly well we are Solar and send us here because they needed our power to save satrapy so they may as well listen to what we have to say.
-[X] History lesson time. Explain exaltation, Usurpation, how Immaculate faith came to be, who controlled it from the start, who do so now and how.
-[X] Make sure they remember they can't take us or run.

Plus we could just sign a non-aggression pact with him (I leave you alone and you leave me alone) while actually allying with one of the others.
If you want to do that, then vote to Parley with him.
Simple then we don't fight her and simply engage in SOCIAL combat (you can't get befriended if they can't pound you into the dirt beforehand) when we come face to face.
What? How does engaging her in a form of combat where she's clearly superior prevent us from getting brainwashed? That's a terrible idea, it'll torpedo our chances.
Necromancy is just the death-themed version of Sorcery isn't it? It seems superflous since We're likely already going to get Sorcery ourselves AND we can work on turning Ayala to our side so we'd have two Solar Circle Sorceror's on our side.
No, it has access to numerous unique effects. What would be the point if it was just an aesthetic difference? This is an art that was discovered by men and women who broke into the very tombs of the Primordials and pried the secrets from their cold, dead continent-hands.

It has a somewhat different set of strengths and weaknesses. Some things are easier for one or the other. For instance, the Necro-economy is probably substantially more difficult to replicate using Sorcery, but don't try to use Necromancy to bring barren lands to life. Granted, Necromancy has always tended to be mechanically subpar, but it wasn't stolen from the nightmares of dead gods just because it was black-colored Sorcery.

The spells are probably somewhat different, but once you consider workings you can probably achieve the same goal, even if the means you took to reach it are different.

I wouldn't discount the benefits of Necromancy... at least from a biological modification standpoint, it's extremely potent. As long as you're willing to accept some aspects of undeath in your modification target.

Underworld-tainted Jade is in 3E for sure; what about Underworld-tanted DBs? They'll have to obey you; everyone else will think they're Anathema!

High Charisma just means you're likable and if she had high manipulation as well then she'd have been able to get people to stop worshipping her so it sounds like we'd just find her very likable but would probably wind up being our usual asshole-self to her (kinda like with Nilul?)

I doubt any hypothetical relationship would default to the same dynamic we have with Nilul, considering the Lily is a different class of Exalt with a different personality and different specializations. Her inability to restrain her supernatural charisma does reflect well on her, nor does it bode well for future interactions.

Yeah expecting our relationship with Kily to be like Nilul's is not smart especially when we haven't met her in person yet.

Though we could ask Seeds more about what she's like if we parley with him. Seriously we don't need to be technically allies just have a non-aggression agreement until we hear what people like Lily and the Raksha have to ofer us. Until then having more infomation on one of the 3 sides specifically the one with the solaroids who can rival ourselves would be am immense advantage. Knowledge is power after all.

I think I have food poisoning! Probably no update tonight.

That is quite bad indeed, I am suffering from a minor case myself.

Starting to lean towards Delegate if some of the Immaculate could be twisted to stay loyal to us to help preserve our cover. But Ulyssian must stay with the Realm, it is the largest lever in Creation right now and the center must hold or everything goes to whack.

He's an asshole to Nilul because of her manipulativeness and general personality (though much less than he was before the tournament), not because he dislikes anyone with high Social traits.

I'd like to remind people that given Lily's risk of "Befriending" Uly, Seeds is the most reliable way for us to gain access to greater information on the Deathlords, Deathknights, and their plans. He's also a potential method to acquire another Lunar Ally, as he should have a Lunar Mate kicking about somewhere.

The Infernal Sorceress who's on the cusp of becoming a Solar Circle Sorcerer, and is also possibly the reincarnation of Nio. That, or she's employing some of the Ebon Dragon's more insidious social Charms and her knowledge of the First Age to play us.

3E doesn't have Yozi charms for Infernals , Nilul only gets them thanks to her bloodline.

Wait, you mean Mnemon Ayala? I remember now. Though should I be wary of this Nio person? I apologize for asking too many questions.

Yeah, Mnemon Ayala, the other Anathema Dynast. You could almost say impersonating Dragon-Blooded is a family trait; Nio was Odyssial's little sister who died during the prelude, killed by a Second Circle Daeva, which would make it more than a little ironic if her reincarnation was an Infernal. No worries about asking questions, the thread's pretty quiet anyway.

Right, but she could still have an Ebon Dragon inspired charm that makes her seem like a close family member.

Mind, if she has such a charm it probably won't work on Ulyssian anymore thanks to his recent purchase of Phoenix Renewal Tactic x2 combined with unlocking the Ambition evocation What Rouses Glory.
