Man, no one wants the high amount of free XP in the Dealing With Infernals options? You guys could really benefit from that XP, now that you're so low in both categories!
I could go for an assassination or two. Picking off Fei Ling has the added bonus of being extra-ironic, because we're assassinating an assassin. The issue would be ensuring the fallout doesn't land on us, because Ayala and her retainer are at least nominally part of House Mnemon. Could we work a disguise into the assassination option?

Odyssial was going to remake Creation itself. Reforging the Yozis through soul-surgery and directing Infernals to develop Charms to render them something that can co-exist with humanity is trivial in comparison. I mean worse come to worse he can just force their Fetich-souls to be rendered into a auxiliary brain ala Autobot, and then spend some time training them to not be stupid. Ought to be viable ten years down the line or so, aka too long for us to care. He didn't even Neverborn Lethos, instead twisting it into the Lethe and intimidating it into assisting his reincarnation gambit; imagine how useful, say, She Who Lives in Her Name might be when it comes time to start reforging Creation into a more just and harmonious setting.

Also, uh, hmm, was Heartlessness 11 where Odyssial won, but his attempt at reordering Creation just produced the OWoD? Because that'd make a lot of sense...

Huh, so our ways to do the Reclamation in the previous timeline was suboptimal, nice to see.

You know, that Yozi with infinite peak, the Dragon-that-seek-Perfection that is being caged by his own infinite wings...
Doesn't he complement Odyssial's themes?

Sure, you can be disguised as someone else. Whoever you want to frame, or a random Lunar, whatever.

Disguise yourself as Resolute Flame!

Oramus, or Oaf? The latter is the mountain, the former is the Dragon.

Poor Flame. He must be horrified at this turn of events.

I think you mean Qaf; a titan whose themes center around seeking enlightenment and perfection certainly wouldn't be an oaf!

If you just want to boost effectiveness, Listener-swaying argument is pretty nice, though I don't think it works for Threaten actions. Too bad you don't have enough XP to get Empowering Shout, which you could use on Nilul!
What about buying the Impassioned Discourse Technique and using it to convince the two Infernals that serving and freeing the Yozis will not be end up well for anyone else but Yozis themselves? I would think that opposing the Yozis is pretty high on Odyssial's Principles.

[X] Assassination

Well, it's the red option, so obviously it can't be wrong. From a more serious standpoint, this is the surest way to ensure news of Nilul's presence doesn't leak to the Dragon and his cronies; since we have detected them and they haven't discerned our true nature, we have a very good window of opportunity to carry out the assassination. They had considered attempting to kill us, so turnabout is just fair play. Finally, in light of recent events, I think Ulyssian would want to strike a blow firmly against Creation's enemies, do something unambiguously beneficial for the world and for his friend, since he so recently erred and slew Polemgaos. It is in-character for him to seek absolution through action; parlaying with the champions of hell, however, is not an action I would attribute to Odyssial.

The experience would also be a welcome boon, since we've recently run the tank down again. Negotiating is likely to cost experience if we're to get significant returns on it; people are already talking of flash-buying Presence Charms, which I would argue is way too great an expenditure when we can gain experience and remove a threat if we just... kill them. This is a problem that, unlike Saery, can be solved with a sword.

Reiterating the rest of the vote for the sake of the counter:

Look, he's the Primordial of phallic symbols
Cannot... unsee...
On Stress, and maybe how to lower it... Didn't Rihaku say that we could maybe get (at max) -1 Stress with epic enough omakes? Could you possibly write an omake about studying with Moon? I think you have the better grasp on characterization and the flow of writing, and I was planning to myself focus on getting started with that Resolute Flame Quest.
Hmm, I missed this earlier. You have fortuitous timing, though, since somebody on /tg/ just granted a long-held request of mine in a draw-thread. Seems like this is karma; I'll see what I can do, although tender interactions aren't exactly in my wheelhouse.

[X] Ordering the Constellations

[X] Negotiations
-[X] Try to turn them from Hell's service. Extremely difficult in all likelihood, but the Princess of Lies is at your side to help!

[X] Arch-Predictionist - The war-mind of the Lord Strategos, re-awakened, reaches out to seize the world, and re-shape it in his grasp. This is the Art of Prediction, taken to Solar height. Each option below adds 1 Stress.
-[X] Naval - The Navy is losing men and material every day to massive attrition. This can be mitigated. Auguries of great storms to come, the shift and flow of Western trading patterns, and even the overall tides of conflict can be mapped out for the months to come. Armed with plans crafted from such knowledge, the Navy can begin to reverse its precipitous losses. It is power such as this that lead Zao to despair that his enemies were the Solars, and to hope again.
-[X] House - The Naval Academy, of course, houses many definitive records on the Navy and the Academy. For this series of predictions, however, you will have to rely on your own intimate knowledge of House Sesus. Tutored from an early age, you are a Dynastic scion, if a neglected one - but now you can bend the fortunes of Sesus on a stronger path, anticipating their hardships, giving certainty to opportunities seized, as long as they come to depend on you. Increases your relationship with your House, by virtue of your sheer strategic usefulness. Greatly improves the standing of House Sesus in the months to come.

[X] Medical Balm - Pearl was wounded last week on a mission, and her injury has not improved. The wound festers with a vile blackness that resembles the power of the Deathlords. Zao believes she can be treated with a rare herb from the North-Eastern Threshold, the same region where she was wounded. Given that Ivory was hurt, though, this is not a task he can entrust to just anyone. Someone martially capable, an adept infiltrator and master of disguise, might be able to get in and out... [+1 additional Stress]

[X] Studying With Moon - You need only take this once to graduate with excellent scores, though Moon herself won't be able to graduate until two months from now. She'll do her best to conceal her jealousy!

I still have yet to see a limit break in an exalted quest, so I'm totally down.
Conquest Quest had a fun one. The best part was forcing the readers to choose the exact virtue flaw without giving precise details and watching them desperately scramble to avoid picking the one that corresponded to Berserk Anger, only to pick one that caused an even more horrifying result. After all, mindless rampage is hardly optimal for conducting brutally rationally efficient slaughter reeducation.

Mind, you have to adjust for genre and setting. Sesus Ulyssian would probably not need to be limit breaking to slaughter several dozen people while herding even more like animals and terrifying the survivors into becoming his loyal minions. His limit breaks probably won't be quite so tame or uneventful. So let's try to avoid them. Even if it means that we can't do everything.

Heart of Flint-like behavior would be too convenient for Ulyssian's Limit Break, so it's probably some kind of Megalomania or willful disregard of others for Super-Training gotta git gud right away, or something similar. We probably don't need to fear exposure.
Expedient Elimination of Suboptimal Factors. It was originally Heart of Flint, but that was suboptimal.

Look at all these people not voting for maximum stress. What's wrong with you guys? We're a Solar, moderation is for other people. Temperance doesn't even exist as a virtue anymore!

Also 3E changes.

You now have a Limit Trigger instead of a Limit Flaw, something which accrues Limit on top of everything else.

When you Limit Break, the form it takes is GM chosen, each and every time, based on the nature of the last straw AND timed to cause maximum drama.

I don't even want to think about how that would work with an effectively constant Limit Break like Odyssial eventually had by the end of the First Age. What power did The Fairest have, that she could calm such madness?
