[Exalted, ?] Most High

If Ody goes even less easily than canon Ody, he might very well break the back of the Dragonblood host in his death throes, leading to... I don't know. No golden age? A Wyld resurgence?

I ask what is NECESSARY.

Yo.
If the Dragonblooded were truly broken by winning the Usurpation, the Balorian Crusade is pretty much unopposed.

Much smaller Creation.

Of course, a stronger Odyssial could very well have quelled the Raksha hordes so thoroughly that the Balorian Crusade is mitigated in other ways. People see the horrors of the Solars' reign, but their glory was such that their good works can potentially outlast them. Don't allow fear to bar us from greatness.

If Ody, err, us can do the impossible and truly, truly subvert the Primordials so that mortals, well, exalts can properly run Creation... There is no need to fear degeneration of Creation like it did every time an Usurpation happen.
That's 100% good.

Unless the Wyld borders were actually destroyed...most of the Crusade was likely fresh spawned rakshas.

Currently attempting an argument for Coldness, but it might take me a while. Hopefully, I can have it posted before the update is finalized.

[X] Coldness
[X] Melee

Odyssial is great, Odyssial is cunning, Odyssial has a Willpower that makes Yu-Shan quake with fear. Odyssial will also be a known factor and have 13 pissed off SolAbyssals Akumalords Deathlords gunning for him and no infrastructure to combat them with.

As far as destroying the world and re-making it in a more optimal manner, that's probably closer to Coldness. Fury's extreme-ness is directly purely (for now) at the objects of his vengeance.
Ah. I meant more along the lines of "patch the existing world and population to be less horribad" than "fuck it all, GO FULL NEPHANDI".

[X] Fury

It's not our fault, so I don't like option 1. I also don't like the complete i=social isolation that comes with #3, though it is tempting.

My preference goes Coldness > Fury >>> Guilt. Odyssial's gonna be a First Age Solar if he makes it through this. Tempering glory with guilt just doesn't fit.

The added Heartlessness of Fury is appealing, and if that's to be the compromise option I'd prefer not to water it down.

There will BE no compromise option!

The Great Curse is more or less inevitable regardless of what we choose, after all the Night was the one who could have possibly noticed it and the Twilight was the one who could have cured it.

Well, I don't think any of the incarnations would defeat the Great Curse during the First Age, you have to leave someone for Ulyssian! But I do think any of them would be able to, if they were truly searching for a way. I imagine it just seemed like the normal sort of excesses that people with power go through.

The dying curse of the Neverborn is a twisted sort of boon for the Exalted after all, no longer will Limit allow them to have their Willpower whittled down instead offering a healthy stress valve.

Why do you want Creation to burn in the fires of a God King's wrath?

Indeed, if one can stay in near-perpetual Limit Break, one can maintain near-limitless Willpower! A very useful feature of the Exaltation.

Hmmmn. Coldness would offer a pretty good limit break.

Also, I want to further our chances of surviving this fight.

Switching to:
[X] Dawn.
[X] Coldness.
[X] Skirmish.

Thing is, Skirmish is putting mortal strength (No matter how great) against what amounts to being a perfect anti-surprise effect. While Melee at least has the possibility that he'll start by sandbagging.

There is also the fact that Coldness offers us measurably increased chances of making it through this.

So hop on the Coldness bandwagon, and defeat divine power with human discipline and resolve!

The biggest question I have is why this quest is [Exalted, ?]. So, what is this crossed with? Is one of the Primordials going to end up literally being Lovecraft's Cthulhu, or something?
