The only reason to spend the expedited xp is to convince her, so how is the main cost and point of the option just a bonus to you? That makes very little sense to me. If you mainly care about the sword we can do that much more efficiently later.

From what he said to me it seems like the middle option is probably the worst choice...
... Especially since we have very little social competencies.
So it really boils down to the power of friendship/burning a ton of XP for power (Immortal Bladesmaster title, which I assume is a handful of introductory Solar melee charms) and the sword (PRAISE THE SUN!), or letting it go.
One is, and I think votes will dictate, a way friendlier choice, but the cost differential between them is huge (one even refunds xp...)

WOG already has her on our side, and I certainly can see her doing her own soulsearching. We can apparently burn the xp (and more from this!) later if we need too, so the only incentive for me is the insta-grab of the Sword of Holy Shit This Guy is a Solar. The relationship may suffer, but it may not, she may appreciate the space to come to terms with it on her own, who knows.
This is pretty much a one time thing. If we dont press she goes back to the mindwashing default position she has been in. She will help us sure but that does not make it right. Frankly it will mean that the bronze fuckers that killed her have won in more ways then one. Pearl will never be remembered more then as a horrible monster that sided with the most hated Solar. I frankly refuse for that to happen, especially for Ivory, Pearls reincarnation she deserves more then going back into that created, false mindset.

Ambition is a bit too flashy of a sword isn't it? As nice as it would have been to have it around, using the weapon would just throw us under even greater scrutiny

Yes, busting out Ambition now costs more than if we were to sit down and actually train properly. The discount makes this less painful, but only marginally so; it pales in comparison to the option that actually gives us experience.

I believe Nellens is quite weak among the Dynast Houses, although they are the most popular house among the common folk.
Yeah. It costs 150k for Immortal Blademaster, and Accept gives us that on top of what we already have. And if we really and truely need the Title at any stage prior to training times we can flashlearn it. The question is whether we're willing to spend 245k for the benefits of getting it right now.

As far as he's concerned, she is one of his greatest friends and allies, and he would fight, or kill, or die for her as he would for very few people now living. Perhaps only for Empty Moon herself would he expend greater effort to save. And for her he just jumped in front of an Immaculate Master's form strike with a mortal body and a non-magical sword.

We always have the time; that's the whole point of flashlearning. If we Accept it then we can use that 150k to either buy Immortal Blademaster when we have training time or flashlearn it when it is necessary (which it isn't right now).

Yes I did write she will help us, it is her mindset that will go back, you know that "holders of my Exaltation, and a monster" thing. Getting the title and Ambition in this vote is a secondary benefit compared to influencing Ivory away from several Exaltations of brainwashing by the hands of her killers. Just accepting this sounds horrible from a story perspektive both considering how close Odyssial and Pearl where and how this will affect her longer down the line.

Ambition allows its wielder to stand against armies alone. Its power is greatest when times are most dire, so it has pretty much no direct ability to buff people that aren't its wielder. It was made for Odyssial himself to prevail against overwhelming odds, after all.

Unfortunately, it's likely the Sesus backed out of the contract with Nellens and is now negotiating a more advantageous one. With someone who probably isn't one of Uly's few friends, and reasonably terrified of Moon's response.

She is in a flux like right now, she will go back to her false mindset if we dont do it now. Poking her over a longer time will be bad for her mental integrity and trying to do it in one push further into the future will be just that much harder.
