Nope, that would be when uly talks to moon after she gets introduced to her father and tells her he wants to be with her instead of saery.
Since he hasn't been told of the marriage contract, and decided he doesn't like it, it hasn't crystalized in his head yet.
Romance isn't something he would think of until someone else made him think of it.

...okay, I can see why you might think he got a clue there.
But he's kept himself socially isolated for a long time, so he doesn't really get alot of this social stuff.
He might be beginning to entertain the possibility that moon has an infatuation, maybe. But he's not certain of that, too rusty with social stuff, and probally hasn't even thought of how he'd feel about that.
And he won't until he's confronted directly. Too busy with productive activities, like training, to waste time on that.

Mm, but the stage for that revelation has been set. All the conditions for his confession have been cleared; it was previously right around the corner, so those feelings obviously exist within Ulyssian as he is now. Once the first domino falls, it'll all come pouring out. Still, we have other matters to attend to right now; we'll just have to see what happens, I suppose.

I'm not sure how coherent I'll be this early in the morning, but I'm both curious enough to let Ivory make whatever decision it is we'd get to influence if we talked to her and I'm honestly rather interested in Uly's parents.
Given that they appreantly weren't mediocre as fuck here, I'm not really sure you can call them negligent considering their duty to both the Realm and their House and that spending significant amounts of time on their mortal son would have essentially just been a more unusual form of Dynast decadence and abuse of power.
Unless spending more time with Uly would have resulted in Uly not pursuing his crazy dream, it'd simply have drawn more negative attention on al of them, while simultaneously weakening his parents' ability to shield him.
Of course we don't actually know if they ever did shield him and their relationship was still anything but loving, but there is enough room to excuse a lot of what they did and, even if they don't give the slightest of shits about him as a person, his Exaltation changes the situation signficantly enough that they'd change their approach to him.
As long as they and the rest of House Sesus can be sure Uly is still on their side, in spite of the fact that he's been hiding his Exaltation, which is really what talking to them immediately now that Zao has confirmed we retain our position in spite of the publicity is about, we're a massive asset to the House that loving parents can now actually afford to throw their full support behind openly and unloving parents can not afford to let slip through their fingers by not doing so.
And, if we manage to reconnect with House Sesus, that entire House will have a very firm interest in supressing any Anathema rumors about us, which is rather valuable, especially in a time where the Siddies are greatly weakened and the DBs are more and more focused on the advancement of their own House above all else.

So I've been wondering, how do people actually intend to handle our House deciding on who we're engaged to?
I mean, obviously a lot of people would prefer to officially hook up with Moon, but I'm not sure how likely they are really to go along with that.
Alliances can kind of be of much greater importance than a single very talented DB in the current political climate, especially if that DB is either a Lost Egg or the daughter of someone already supremely invested in Uly and whose bloodline has serious fertility issues, so all they'd really gain is the DB herself, which is more or less something they stand a good chance of effectively getting if they just tell Uly to keep a stable relationship of some sort with her and prevent other Houses of gaining more of her loyalty than Uly has.

If it's just an engagement? Ignore it. As long as the marriage won't happen for a few years yet, it really doesn't matter - chances are by then our circumstances will have changed completely.
Also, no romantic shenanigans in general. At least not before we've ascertained Lea's status.

Explain that Zao had wanted you to learn humility and resourcefulness without resorting to the skill of the Exalted, and that you were initially not supposed to draw attention to yourself, being instead a mortal that everyone could safely look down upon. You have failed this test, and ruined his plans, but you cannot say you are too unhappy - it is, after all, the nature of House Sesus always to strive towards glory!

"Integrate those memories" sounds like a pretty damn important thing to do, all things considered.
It's quite schizophrenic, isn't it? First they all vote Masked Queen, then they vote for every Lea option they can get, and now suddenly they seem to have completely forgotten about the fact that Odyssial is already committed.
It is said that hell has no fury like a woman scorned. I'm pretty sure that's untrue, the fury of Malfeas is a rather significant thing. Of course, most women aren't Elder Lunars of (possibly) questionable sanity who've (maybe) been waiting for their beloved's return for thousands of years.

I do think you guys are hugely underestimating the importance of this choice, though. You really don't have much time before things potentially come to a head. The support of your family, increased personal power, or better teamwork with Ivory could all contribute massively in the trials to come. Don't think you're out of the woods because Zao pulled your fat out of the fire, and other mixed metaphors!
Also, there are two components to this choice:
1) What you prioritize the most
2) What you think will have the most important strategic impact (for example, a Great House is better at avoiding certain types of loss than others, as is a Sidereal, as is a Solar Exalt)

It could just look like a pretty normal sword. Odyssial doesn't exactly need an impressive sword to instill terror in his enemies. That'd be somewhat redundant. And there's something to be said for the understated approach. A more elegant weapon for a more civilized age.
