idea I've got to put forward:
[X] Some Drekin develop an additional claw that rests atop each leg until prey is pinned down, at which point the claw slides along the leg and punctures the prey. This adaptation enables this Drekin to specialize as a predator of other Drekin.

Pilebunker-Legged Drekin 83c
Intended to solely put pressure on the Drekin species.
I think my other concept was "what if Drekin developed a way to swing their legs in a rotary fashion to provide them with short burst flight to chase after blamps" (but maybe that can wait for a further adaptation of this terrible Drekin)

Helicopter spider trees essentially.
I drafted mine in advance, I'm quite glad to see someone had a same-similar idea (I wasn't expecting it to be a web-weaver tho, holy crap)

[X] Some Webweaver Drekin have turned their legs into helicopter blades that spins around the main torso. Their silk now grows solar powered fruits that they share with others or when attacked explode into goo traps that quickly solidify.

[X] Some Harpoon Slina develop a new hunting strategy by secreting a sedative from their external tissue layers. It lets them booby-trap hunting perches and webs alike, so that both Drekin, Slina are viable prey. 'Trapped' in a web, they strike when their prey succumbs to the laced webs.

[X] Some Splitter Slina begin to draw in prey through suctioned force. By drawing air through one head and expelling it out the other they form a type of cyclone. By splitting one head may direct air away from or towards another to better manipulate their environment

[X] Some Drekin evolved psionic powers, which manifested as telekinesis which helps them repel threats and traverse sticky webbing. To obtain enough food to fuel their powers, these Drekin bargained with colonies of Bridgeweavers to allow them to scavenge dead Blamps in return for using their bulk and telekinesis to help defend the colony from predators.

[X] Some Vent Blamps evolved a reinforced internal structure that allows them to withstand the increased pressure of the mid atmosphere layer. This lets them duck into this layer during storms, and with a Tether Slina be essentially independent of the floating ruins.

[X] Some Splitter Slina have adapted to consume the remnants of dead creatures that where not completely eaten by their preadadors, or who died from causes other than predation. This proves a benefit to the facility in the form of cleaning decomposing materials. It also means they don't compete with other predadors for prey.

The Boom Blamps have gone extinct, their rapid omnidirectional explosions causing enough issues to their own reproduction that other pressures in the facilities have caused them to die out. Their passing has eased the lives of most creatures in the Facilities as they were rather disruptive.

Goodbye DAKKA balloons, you shall be missed!

[X] Some Jet Blamps develop the ability to spew and ignite a flamable liquid at predators and threats.

Flamethrower!!!

016 (Detritus Splitting Slina)

Detritus Splitting Slina
The Detritus Splitting Slina are evolved from Splitting Slina that have taken to eating the remains that have long been building up on the outer surfaces of the facility. They are less saturated than their ancestors to hide in the bleached remains of dead Blamps, other Slina, and Drekin shells. Their own waste is far finer than other materials and is often blown away on the outermost surfaces of the facility. They take to crawling down the remains of broken bridges and eating the carcasses of the Blamp colonies that have been dragged into the deep sky. The Detritus dust they produce can catch in web bridges, making the sections closest to the facility less likely to capture Blamps.

For most species the dust is ignorable or a benefit, the web weavers hunting in the open find their webs breaking down quickly as dust robs them of their sticky properties, however many of that species lives in the folds of the Tent Megablamps and are protected from the dust in turn. The Bridge Weavers are affected most where the bridges attach to the facilities. And the loss of adhesion on the bridges means that repairs are harder and many bridges break and their colonies drift off into the open sky, between the connective bridges and the many Blamps in mature colonies they can survive indefinitely away from the facility.

Orion drive blamp, a boom blamp that managed to concentrate all the explosive power into a specialized organ (or six spread over its body) that has a thick plate between it and the rest of the blamp, when it wants to let it off it cuts blood flow to the organ and drops it or causes it to explode thus launching it in the other direction, another evolution it would need is control over the energy buildup process.

Can we just stop with Boom Blamps please? Let them remain dead.

[X] Some Drekin have turned their legs into helicopter blades that spins around an abdomen they've grown. This lets them achieve short bursts of flight to chase prey like Megablamps, or to try and return to the structure if blown away.

edit: this too!!

[X] Some Bridgeweavers in the floating colonies evolved pheromones which lets them influence if or when a Jet Blamp would release their energy. By strategically manipulating the positions of Jet Blamps on the colony and setting them off, the Bridgeweavers are able to steer the colony away from storms and other hazards.

Increasingly strange directions, but fun ones.

The boring-but-practical option.

Attempt number two!

Huh. Didn't expect their poop would be how they impact the facility the most, but i like it! Althought, correct me if i'm wrong, but shouldn't the Bridge Weaving Drekin be on the countdown for extinction now, since they have 5 pressure points now? I hope not, cause i really like these guys.

Honestly, I'd like to see the creation of a builder species.
