I mean could I submit a weaker character but you make their abilities stronger?

Or should I just submit an OP character?
I'm not gonna scale up characters abilities like that. Allow them to develop, sure. But the point was to allow very powerful characters. If you have somebody you want to play from some story or whatever, you can make them stronger, I'm going off the sheets themselves and there's no requirement they conform to source materials.

But I am not, on my end, going to do particularly much to 'balance up' weaker characters.

She's fairly likely to get in. Currently. That is to say, my draft of picks based on the current selection includes her. This may change as further submissions come in.
Just checking to confirm I can change my application out for someone a bit better suited to multi-dimensional warfare given the conditions?

I'm not going to stop you from submitting a new character and if you don't want to play as your existing choice I can't and wouldn't force you to, so if you wish, feel free.

Does my character have any chance of getting in? If not, I'll probably submit something else, though admittedly I'm not quite sure what...

Barring further submissions that I'd expect to synergize with Mew, they are unlikely to get in.
Fair enough. Unfortunately, I can't really think of any characters with a high enough power level at the moment, and I don't really know any of the other characters submitted very well (other then Beta Ray Bill), but maybe I'll think of something interesting that I'll be able to play well.

Possible ideas: Xemnas, Naruto Uzumaki, Kenpachi Zaraki, Simon (from TTGL), Madokami, Superman, Darkseid, Jean Gray, Hulk, Sarah Kerrigan...

Welp my sheet is done, just need to edit it to make it readable to anyone that doesn't read in me, and need to pass it on to a friend to see if I got how his character talks right, anywho, I might have it up tomarrow night.

Ahh! I can already feel the PTSD!

Huh. I mean, I kinda expected this, but it would appear Bhavishy-kaal is the only one without some form of metaphysical or magical mojo.

Which could be really really interesting, or lead to thon being really really dead.

I think they're probably one of the more readily killed current submissions. At the same time, it's kind of a given that flashier characters are going to tend to draw more attention and focus. Characters like Zoss can expect to be seeing more firepower and especially attempted countermeasures directed their way than characters that don't look as immediately impressive.

I mean, obviously behavior is also a major factor. So I can't actually predict outcomes readily in that regard.

On the other other hand, there's stuff to be said for advantages that aren't dependent on being magical and special. I believe Bashivy-Kaal also has the overall best senses out of the current group, which is significant in terms of avoiding, er, avoidable mistakes- Bashivy-Kaal is more likely to detect things that are a particularly noteworthy threat before they have done anything than a lot of the current candidates.

@Terrabrand
I'm not going to be able to start my sheet until at least 11PM tonight, which is twelve hours from now. Can you please delay the character selection until late tomorrow or Saturday? I won't be able to apply at all otherwise.

Sure you can, you'll just go on a waitlist. He's not cutting off submissions.

Which is an unspoken guarantee that I'll never get in. I once sat on a waitlist for over a year only for the GM to reboot the game and not tag everyone, causing the new game to fill up almost instantly and for the waitlist to fill up with over twenty people before I even knew it existed.

A waitlist is basically GM-speak for laughing in your face and flipping you off while punching you in the dick with their free hand. I might as well never apply at all.

Woah, that's a little bit harsh, don't you think?
