Ethereal Whims, an X-COM x Star Wars Quest

-[X] plan: Training heroes

My previous plan has been completely removed following the vast majority in favour of the current plan.

-[X] plan: into darkness
-[X] explore the Kaas city
-[X] explore the dark temple
-[X] examine the weapons
-[X] train the Viper monarch to utilize her psionic talents, and instill her a duty to her people, and you.
-[X] Sectoid
-[X] assign her to an action
--[X] train the Viper monarch

If we are going to have one point in research we are going to need a dedicated batch of sectoids to help with that.
No you don't. Vipers, Sectoids, and ADVENT Hybrids all take half a point off of research per batch. You need one more batch of any of those kinds to knock a turn off of research currently.

Alright, that makes sense to certain extent. Though I have a question @HelereTheAce is it possible to have more then one hybrid/clone be produced, like said I want to produce a advent hybrid and a sectoid, would that be possible or would we need an additional facility or something like that to enable it.

The facility can only produce one batch at a time, each batch being a hundred units. You can build two more facilities on Dromund Kaas once you have the room and those facilities can produce different types of clone.

Thank you!

And for my reasoning why I change the assignment for the assassin from training another hero to explore the dark temple. She would be able to handle much of the traps and anything that happens inside the Sith temple. And she has the potential to find anything that would be of our interest if she were there to explore it with the team doing so.

[X] Plan: Traning Heros

Say could we have the "The Assassin" train other units to become assassins, as having more units that can stealth, assassination and spying?

Well then I will be removing my plan from the voting stage since there is an already destined plan to succeed. I honestly don't mind about plan train heroes being the majority, it has most of what I am interested for the next turn.

Though @HelereTheAce would we be able to built facilities on the dark temple site once it is finished being explored. I am interested in having the Sanctum of silence be the facility being built over it, once we completely demolished it of all signs of it being a sith temple. I can imagine that we are unintentionally being spiteful to the Sith spirits and ancestors that has it constructed. Especially if we aren't aware of the force yet, and only have psionic abilities from the XCOM universe.

...That wasn't the plan, but I like that idea. Specialized Hero Unit Facilities like the Sanctum of Silence or the Serpent's Court (Spoilers) can now be built over fully excavated ancient sites for slight bonuses.

That sort of thing will be done automatically with 'Elite Units' at the end of each year. There will be at least one squad (a dozen) of stealth-focused vipers that will function as the Assassin's personal team.

[X] Plan: Traning Heros
-[X] Explore the Kaas City (The rotting carcass of a once-mighty city, who knows what manner of secrets might be hidden within and beneath) [8/9]
-[X] Explore the Dark Temple (Animated dead prowl these halls, some seem to be more fresh than others, but all are equally deceased.) [1/?]
-[X] Examine the Weapons(However these things were created, it was through incredible suffering. With another sample to work with, it should be easier to decipher their makeup and construction. The core of this plasma blade screams suffering and anguish. It almost feels like it is... bleeding) [2/4]
-[X] Train the Viper Monarch to utilize her new psionic talents, and instill in her a duty to her people, and to you. [0/2]
-[X] Assign her to an Action
--[X] Train the Viper Monarch
-[X] ADVENT Hybrid [0/2] (Modified off of base-strain humans, ADVENT Hybrids are generalists that can be suited for a wide variety of roles, at the cost of the physical superiority of some of your other subordinates. Each batch made reduces construction times by half a turn. Enough brainpower to help with research, each batch takes half a turn off of research time.)

I know right! Imagine that one day when Palpatine was given a tour to the capital of our (Faction name), and then he sees the remnants of a sith temple of Dromund kaas. He would be curious about it, and when our MC answers his questions, imagine the reaction he would have on the inside, and that would repeat the same thing for other ancient sites we demolished, blissfully unaware of their importance.
