I quite like both the aspirations. The modeling thing will require research, diplomancy, and eventually skill training (real skill too, not just transformed skill), and is basically her canon aspiration. Vengence is similar with the exception that it comes from the accident rather than before it, and is decently short term since it doesn't require the ABB's obliteration or anything. Similarly, getting tailor to dress more fashionably as a method of reinforcing her confidence is simply adorable. The other two dreams seem more like champion dreams though.[] Dreams and Aspirations
-[] Dream: Make Brockton Bays streets safe for the public.
-[] Dream: Destroy the corruption in Brockton Bay. (Will later change to be more specific based off of Emma's knowledge such as focusing on the Darkness)
-[] Dream: Get Taylor to dress more fashionably.
-[] Aspiration: Get Vengeance on ABB
-[] Aspiration: Get a good modeling gig.
Once again, breaking the gangs is a dream for a champion. Getting recognized seems to fall in line with starting our modeling career for me, otherwise I would be more interested in it, and "have fun" seems far too vague, since a part of aspirations is defining what we enjoy anyway, and there's no real way to "complete" having fun. Gaining our independence from constant parental supervision(which we definitely have right now) is something any teenager would want, an the pressures of Emma's new life will only intensify that. To be treated as a child while under the terrible burden of sensitivity? Ouch. And making people care is a great long term aspiration, as a hook for soooo many plots.[] Plan: Say You Want A Revolution
- Dream: Make people care about the rot in Brockton Bay.
- Dream: Break the gangs.
- Aspiration: Gain your independence.
- Aspiration: Get recognized.
- Aspiration: Have fun.

Oh, and regarding this, it's going to be a slap in the face for Princess!Emma. As in, it literally has a ~50% chance of causing bashing damage to Emma if he hurts some-one's faith in justice in her presence. Our father is kind of evil considering his willingness to fuck people over and how he gloats about how money makes people above the law to small children (canon statement by Taylor). We don't know anything else about her family at this point so lets put off outing ourselves till after we know more about them.
But dreams explicitly come from your calling, and you need a 2-dot merit with heavy drawbacks (three new calling oaths) to get a second source.I mostly want to enable... almost noir type plots. More low to the ground. Now, that could be folded into 'make people care', because draping a bunch of unconscious gang members in public places is the kind of message sending a Storms Troubadour could get behind, and Emma has part of that, but I felt it was worth separating.
Besides (and boy this feels ironic coming from me), our X and Y splats don't define us.
Fair point. We should still do this some time though. This is basically the only part of your plan I dislike. I really don't see this as being a 'Dream' that she's likely to have, nor one that's particularly interesting on its face. Even if we wanted to have a Taylor focused Dream (and I'd argue that until we develop our character a bit more, we probably shouldn't have a Dream centred on someone else), I think it should be something less... petty? For instance...
Dream: Get Taylor to understand the seriousness of appearance and first impressions.
Anyway, upon thinking about it some more..
Every color and texture in this picture besides the wings, probably. That looks terrible. The actual clothing, though, is fine; Maybe a gray, blue, and green coloration, with smooth textures, perhaps, with an emphasis on working with what the wings look like?I should point out that, as a redhead, and a fashionista, there are certain colors Emma would 'not' wear.
What they are, I have no idea, but they exist.
well, the program doesn't actually let you choose the textures, since each piece of clothing has a default unchangable texture that you can only obscure by coloring it all one color, or change by swapping in a similar looking piece. Aside from that, the only color that you seem to disapprove of is the gold. Is this along the lines of what you where thinking of?Every color and texture in this picture besides the wings, probably. Yes, pretty much, though with blue as a main. Blue is just better for absolutely everything. Blue would be nice, though you'd need a mix of shades. Darker blues for the core outfits to allow pastel blues to be accents.Yes, pretty much, though with blue as a main. Blue is just better for absolutely everything. Thanks for the photoshop/picture changing.
That isn't how the relationship between courts and costumes works. Costumes are a manifestation of your idealized self image through the lens of your culture. Invocations don't really effect that. What does effect that is your court (which should be your primary invocation) which is a literal court lead by a queen and represents who you work with in the dreamlands and the culture you most associate with.Oh, and for those who wonder why I didn't include a mask, it's because that kind of heroic symbol is the heraldry of Swords, so I figured it would symbolize us requiring our first dot of fuoco.
Did someone say frills? I'll go look later to see if anything in particular catches my eye, but yeah, I want frills too.[] Appearence: Frills
This is where I reveal I am not a fashion designer.
Personally I favor lasers from wands.Regarding the Levinbolt, I kinda want it to shoot out bolts of cutting wind. You know, like a classic Kamaitachi or a Boom Bubble if bashing. Would both be cool, fitting of Aria and theoretically harder to spot (unless our wind turns green, of course). The only downside is that people might think we are Stormtiger's Blaster offspring, but once we beat up some E88 folks that should be cleared up.
We are going to to be carrying around a weapon no matter what. I don't think a rifle is going to give much more security than a deathlaser or being able to knock about people at a distance.Well, i favor a firearm, (Maybe a rifle, but i don't have preferences), and i already said why. Is about proyecting strenght. Carrying a weapon around gives the feeling of security that Emma desires.
(I am making portraits with HeroMachine, but all the ones i like are more Swords than Aria)
