That would match how even a glimpse and a touch was enough to start coughing out spores.Edit: Did a quick wiki check on the Haustorium. Its potentially under the protection of a Name of the Crowned Growth.

Well...Edit: Did a quick wiki check on the Haustorium. Its potentially under the protection of a Name of the Crowned Growth.
Something thick and green came up from your lungs—spores?—and you hacked them onto the floor.
The Crowned Growth certainly still seems to have at least some influence over the place, considering the spores and the fungi.
At least for the first three obstacles, a member of the Inner Circle has one of the Lores as their major, so at least for this part we should be operating at effectively Level 6 as a baseline.Expected Dangers: The rainforest will bar your way, where snakes and many more dangerous obstacles plague your path. You must either forge a path or follow the wildlife to pass through to the other side. Then you must find the way higherup, either with your keen eye or simple intuition. Lastly you must climb those old stone stairs, and pay their price. Either in blood or in memories. There will be more dangers, but that is how you will arrive at the front doors.
Is Mylissa not telling us, does she not know, or has it just not come up yet?
Summoning itself should be fine. This isn't the situation we were in over in equestria, we'll have the proper bindings and can send her back to the Mansus. The circumstances where summoning Mopsy is being treated like a good idea.
Yeah, Mopsy doesn't seem as bad as Robigo or The Excelency Gnathobasis. The circumstances where summoning Mopsy is being treated like a good idea.
No you cannot.@Witherbrine26 Can we modify the ritual to get a higher-level version of it?
For example, to turn a ritual of two circles into a ritual of three circles?
It hasn't come up yet.Is Mylissa not telling us, does she not know, or has it just not come up yet?
They cannot. Unless said otherwise spirits cannot perform rituals, the exception is Names who can innately perform any ritual you know. Unless other circumstances arise of course.@Witherbrine26 just to verify, Sun Sparks can cast RotT on their own, right? Not just as sacrifices? I know they can't do three-circle rituals, but RotT isn't a summoning ritual, so...
So was Mylissa referring specifically to Theresa here then or...? Because the way she phrased it seemed to indicate that said spirits could perform the scrying ritual, not just be used as fodder. They cannot. "We are in need of new summons," Lady Mylissa's voice was steady, controlled, as always. Her words, however, carried the weight of command. "Beyond the White Door, there are entities capable of scrying, capable of searching for what we need. I want you to summon one. Have it ready in three months' time, and in the meantime, construct a scrying ritual. We need to be prepared."
Ah, I see how that could be confusing. Apologizes for that. She is referring how they can be used to massively boost a scrying roll. It's been changed to be more clear that the intent is for them to be sacrificed. So was Mylissa referring specifically to Theresa here then or...? Even if we can bring the Names, going the "stacking Influences" route decreases the total cost of the expedition on our end, so it might still be worth doing. Unless we find an expedition specialist Name a la the Daughter-of-Axes from Equestria. And also unless Mylissa is willing to have the cult pay for the Names to tag along.Best-case scenario: Names can visit the Haustorium, but Lady Mylissa specifically is banned for some reason.
Then we take Aunt Mopsy and Teresa with us and pass 2 obstacles easily. A couple of Sun Sparks pass the third one, and then we don't know what is next.
Worst case scenario: all spirits are banned from Haustorium, or can't help us for some other reason (it just occured to me that Aunt Mopsy may be not exactly banned, but bound to stop uninitiated from entering... And since for now none of us is actually in the ranks of Know, that includes our entire cult). Then we just get as many Influences as we can(Lantern/SH from Teresa, Moth from Aunt Mopsy, Heart from Charlotte, Grail from us personally), and maybe try to find other expeditions where we can get artifacts.
They aren't really mutually exclusive routes.Even if we can bring the Names, going the "stacking Influences" route decreases the total cost of the expedition on our end, so it might still be worth doing. They are tho? Having a Name channel an Influence should take their AP for the turn. Accompanying a long expedition also would consume their AP for the turn. So we'd have to pick one or the other. They aren't really mutually exclusive routes.
I see no reason to take an Influence instead of a Name when we can take both.
And Names definitely will boost our chances significantly.
Ah, right. If we go double-Influence and they both call an Influence through a ritual and apply it themselves we do.They are tho? Having a Name channel an Influence should take their AP for the turn.
