Dungeon Crawler You!

Really, my only concern regarding Wizard Supremacist is the "they are pathologically riveted to the idea that magic is the only solution to all problems" part.

My worry is that it'll negatively impact Drew's ability to follow tactics.

People are sleeping on Mystic Scholar for some reason when it can be a skill monkey, and has a spell that lets you make spell books. You could give ANYBODY (with at least 15 MP) the ability to give anybody else their spells with that... WAIT YOU CAN SELL SPELLBOOKS! There's also the spellbook of the floor club which you can't sleep on. I hope the fact that I post about something recent, start thinking, and then sometimes put together a post about another issue before another person posts isn't too much of an issue?

I'm okay with dropping everything for wizard supremacist if we commit to getting manager as fast as possible otherwise. If that means scion Taylor we do it

I'm fine with supporting that. This particular one just synergizes really well. Would probably prefer a class option though. Scion seems really likely to cause death.

Calliope being Scion would actually throw her off massively. Slugs aren't known for their skateboarding skill.

@eaglejarl Will we get the benefits of Manager the moment it's chosen?
I shouldn't answer this one because the information isn't available to Taylor, but... Yes, Levi becomes your manager the moment you select a race or class that has the Manager benefit

If Drew would consent to an elective surgery removing his arms it's be pretty hard to accidentally violate the rules. Does bare-handed include kicking? If not then Punch Wizard may be outlawed but Kick Wizard is still on the table.
*horror* This is a joke, right?

Yeah, so, Wizard Supremacist is actually something I want as like Drew's third or fourth acting class, rather than his main one? Empowerment and Mystic Assault can both be leveled and kept, the +2 to all preexisting spells is practically worthless right now but becomes an awesome temporary bonus with multiple spells in the teens, I don't actually care about Life For Power, and the item benefits...

Actually, @eaglejarl , what happens when Character Actor rolls a class that gives items as actionables? Especially temporary ones? Does Drew get and keep them, does he get them but only keep the effects of using them once the class changes, or does he just not have any chance to get them?

!? The +2 gets his smoke form to level 10, where he can make it solid.

Sadly, TDK (Taylor Doesn't Know) and my mouthpiece, Levi, is only a game guide and therefore is not allowed to answer these questions.

Note that both of these potentially play well with Fortune Sculpting. We could have situations where something lucky happens and we create an illusion or trick to explain it. Conversely, a manifestation of luck might simply be to make some part of our illusion or trick become reality. In other words, keep the enemy guessing what is illusion versus genuine probability manipulation. It could be especially entertaining for the spectators out there on the video feeds. The show runners will probably present to the audience either knowing or not knowing before the mobs do depending on what would make the best ratings.

The reason I like this so much better than Combat Medic is that plain, basic healing tends not to be a problem in this game. It's the special stuff, like debuffs that are a problem. I do agree with the criticism that the money part could be a problem. This will force us to pick something money related for someone else.

I think we will be able to manage the downsides one way or another.

Calliope is going to want to leave Drew's 22-meter bubble of luck pretty often. She's a scout-skirmisher because we mostly can't stop her. She'd probably like the Pixie race, not only does it grant her actual flight, it'll also 'make hummingbirds look clumsy'. Not getting hit is better than trying to tank, at least with a scout class.

With Hitman class we could probably get her to stay closer to main group.

Have maingroup support her with concealmeant (think fog, smoke and whatever else opportunities may come up), debuffs, distractions, etc while Leo hummingbirds from enemy to enemy backstabbing them to pieces.

I'm honestly having trouble imagining her as a Hitman. It requires patience, subtlety and stealth, none of which Calliope likes. Sighted required eyes-on for a full minute, which works badly with smoke and especially badly with her zooming tendencies. (Not Zoomer.) Backstab requires they not be aware of her, which works badly with her bombastic style, and again, her need for speed. Just doesn't fit her all that well.

Actually, i have a question how many magic items do we have?
Because if we have less than 5 then i think the game might be rigged against us.
(Looks at the first chapter of DCC and looks at the vast amount of magical gear Carl got within the first floor.)

If she can learn to stay quiet and hidden for a minute or maybe two she can have them sighted and ambush and have a burst of high speed when the enemy is distracted by Tay and Drew. How loud is a Pixie flying?

Or If we drop the idea that we need to take advantage of In My Sights we just need to deal with the fact she can be seen and then she can use high speed to: drop in, backstab, fuck off.

If she can evolve her style it could fit great.
