I don't think that trying to hide a medical condition that might affect your ability to do your job from your officers is a good idea. It'd most likely result in it blowing up again at the worst possible time and landing you in even more trouble. I think it might also be a punishable offense, I'm not sure. Either way, I think it's probably better to be honest.

Sure, Iowa might not like Willie much, but I hope she's at least professional enough to not let it affect her judgement too much. And if she isn't, well, you've covered your ass and she's the one who'd have to explain any resulting screwups to her superiors.

Hiding a mental illness or any injuries is a punishable offence. How bad the punishment is determined by how bad the injury is. The US military wants to know what is wrong with you so they can fix it.

The Japanese should understand cause of Akagi and midway or Nagato and crossroads.

Yeah, I get that she's cute, but she's also been a bit of a brat. And I don't know about you, but I wouldn't get all "Awwwwwww HUGS!" with a little Abyssal that clearly does NOT want to talk to me.

It's like trying to pet a cat that has its ears back and is hissing at you. BAD IDEA
