Crimson Beauty of The Crescent Moon (Fate/Grand Order)

After sleeping on it a bit, I'm actually going to be pessimistic and opt for
[X] Plan We Were Not Prepared

'cause Prelati has the potential to make this all sorts of annoying.

[X] Plan Setup and Oil

I have just found this thread and my only regret is I didn't join it sooner! This looks amazing and is amazing I look forward to more!

Basically, France is currently in active conflict.
The safe assumption is that our side will be losing.
If we go earlier, we can start making an impact now, while if we wait later it'll likely be more of an uphill climb.
Waiting would give us a bit more tactical punch, but it won't really be that much, we won't be coming in with masses of new servants and max power, so we won't gain enough to make up for the more important strategic losses.

Right, I think this is good enough. Vote is closed. With 20 - 5 - 1 split, Setup and Oil wins. Update would go rather fast. Or rather, it should be. On one hand, the actions will be cut in half as mid-way insertion means the actions for Chaldea turns would be "incomplete". On the other Summer Farming is a big mood.

We'll see. If all goes well, update should be up in two days.

well priority actions would probably be done before the mid-way insertion at least, i.e. gearing up, Seraphix blast shield, etc. so that's good

The Vehicle Bay. Normally, this would be where the man where Avrum Yisshakar spent most of his time, He oft requisitioned the snowmobiles for travelling on the wild expanse of the Arctics and enjoying the desolate fields of white.

Now, most of the snowmobiles are broken. Or rather, exploded. Blown up wrecks of vehicles from the smallest snowmobiles to specially made APCs filled the bay in a way that a more apt name would be to call it a graveyard.

And yet, there is a proverbial isle in the graveyard that bustles with activity. Members of the Security Department and more from others made a small clearing where few vehicles remain in working order are preserved and repaired nonstop. The forges helped in this regard, as a place to churn the broken metals and husks into something serviceable.

It is here that Sulo Anselm took a deep breath as his wheelchair trundled silently through the bay, creeping at the back of the red-gold form of his fellow Department Head.

"Anselm." The armoured man didn't turn, what counts as stealth for the UN bureaucrat is not the same for the maimed soldier. "What brings you here?"

"You, really." The Finn waved a piece of paper, so that at the least the Captain would turn around. The latter didn't rise to the baiting paper. "Romani's orde-"

"-Which you asked him to sign." He growled as he spun on his heels. "For fuck's sake, Anselm, I acquiesed to being confined here for the expedition out there to the wild despite-" At this point, the assembled mechanics and expedition members politely shuffled away from the argument and the feud of the two men. "-the fact that I am the most experienced person. What more do you want?"

"Continuing the surgeries really." The simple and chidingly patient answer comes. "For the record, Romani came to me. Not the other way around. Not that I mind either, you need your rest." He paused. "Well, you and Maxamed both. But he's not the one with the surgery planned."

"Whose orders?"

"Black's. Surprised me too but it is in the opinion of the surgeon-general to get you under the light, so to speak."

"I see." He takes the paper from Anselm's hand. "Rest assured, I will take my rest. Now, will you make yourself scarce?"

"So I will. Good day, Yisshakar."

As the fourth day of the fourth week passed, Chaldea entered a flurry of activity that can't be missed by anyone. Yet, there's a sedate pace to it. One can liken it to the currents of a deep river. There's a sedateness that belies the rushing torrent of personnel and paperworks kept to a tee by the wheelchaired man. Others can liken the pace as akin to clockworks, for Sulo Anselm pushed his attention and his Department to overdrive dealing with the upcoming Singularity.

For Ritsuka Fujimaru though, the word 'nervous wreck' is one she uses for herself.. A far cry from how it was the first time around in the flame-torn city — to be sure — but that's akin to saying the second time one goes parachuting is better than the first.

Technically true. But this time she's descending from the proverbial low orbit. And whether the parachute works is yet to be seen.

But she's not alone at the least. She enters the Command Centre, its blue hues more comforting than the last time she entered, with her two Servants in tow — hesitant as she is to call them that.

The first of course, is the visage of Shielder. Her very own Shielder, clad in a purple raiment and with a shield ready to manifest at any time to protect. Her form is resolute in its timidity. Ritsuka knows as much as she is that both of them are inexperienced.

But of course, the second Servant under her has experience in spades. Hard to beat the one and only King David, after all. For all that he puts on airs on being a shepherd, his actions proved otherwise. And she will never not be thankful of his soothing harp, perhaps one of the few things that stopped her from snapping under the pressure.

The other being that she is not alone. The door to the Command Centre slides open after her entrance, one that heralds the entrance of the second and senior Master. The 4th Master.

Raiment of the Fourth: 86 + 25 (Mana A): 111
Armament of the Fourth: 36 + 25: 61

...She is dressed normally. Brown-grey eyes peer to Ritsuka's own, as if daring her to continue her observations. She is dressed in the same thing she wore in Fuyuki, a heavy white coat with a capelet, clasped with the double interlocked diamond motif that seemed pervasive in Chaldea.

The only different thing to her is that now, her hair is tied to a single long braid that flowed down her back. Even now, she still has two swords within their sheathes.

Discernment of the 48th: 12 - 10 (Inexperience) - 15 (Magically Dead) = -13

And it is to her disappointment that she cannot see what, exactly, Hinako has. To the mundane world, she looks simply as a maiden ready for war. There's an air of danger to her, but otherwise, she is… as she has been.

A dependable wildcard.

A paradox, sure, but it's not hard to miss how Mash tensed when Hinako entered. Nor how Archer — the king, not cowboy — put on an air of nonchalance. Something about Hinako sets off both her Servants in a negative way. And hopefully, that too can be cleared up in the coming weeks.

Before the air could be more awkward however, the Director of Chaldea interjected. "Masters of Chaldea, Hinako Akuta and Ritsuka Fujimaru. The times are dire but needs must. You two will be deployed down in the town of Domremy-" At that, the blue hues of the spinning CHALDEAS pinpointed the spot. "-at the edges of the Singularity. There, I expect that you'd be able to rendezvous with local friendly elements with the help of the comms device." Indeed, snugly placed on the left ears of both Masters is a single earpiece, made as unobtrusive and unremarkable as possible, "Which should deal with any sort of linguistic barriers you will face. Once you insert, the first priority would be to establish a base of operations and-" She paused, taking in Hinako's raised hands. "Yes?"

"Shouldn't the decision of getting a base be left later?"

Olga Marie stared at the 4th Master, and it is here that Ritsuka fears the air of awkward could turn worse before the former nodded. "The discretion is yours, as Caster would suggest. Considering time dilation between the Singularity and Chaldea is nonexistent, there's a grace period of 36 hours before we expect return contact. Unlike Fuyuki, there's no guarantee that we would have perfect connections before Medea sets up a magical array. The Singularity is too big for that and there's no telling the interference that might occur from hostile parties."

Hinako nodded and that seemed to be the end of that.

"Right then, enter your chambers and prepare for the Singularity."

With trepidation still in her heart, Ritsuka did so. And as the chamber — it does her heart good that they didn't call it the Coffin that it was supposed to be — hissed close, she waits.

And in the lands green and charred, others move. Pick One:
