Crimson Beauty of The Crescent Moon (Fate/Grand Order)

Darn and blast. Okay, because that timing won't work out and with the idea that we won't delay further...

[] Plan Final Preparations
-[][GRAIL] Deploy the Grail to stabilize Seraphix Oil Rig.
-[][JURISDICTION] Staffing Department
-[][TIMETABLE] As Planned.
-[][DIRECTOR] Staffing - Hydroponics Reactivation Pt. 1 (Locked)
-[] Staffing - Recreational Spaces
-[][DIRECTOR] Staffing - Morale Overview
-[] Security - Prospecting
-[] Medical - Selective Revivification — Technological
-[] Analytics - AAR: Fuyuki (Locked)
-[][SERVANT] Research - Blast Shield Affixing
-[][SERVANT] Research - War Panoply of the Fourth (Locked)

Swapped out the Reactor action, we'll go with a double morale fixing option instead and let the repairs happen however they will. And swapped Jurisdiction as well with the idea that we don't have the extra brute force, so now back to relying on Medea and theoretically rested command center support.

----

For the sake of it, I'll create the different alternate plan, even if I don't particularly favor it.

[] Plan We Were Not Prepared
-[][GRAIL] Deploy the Holy Grail of Fuyuki to France.
-[][JURISDICTION] Analytics Department
-[][TIMETABLE] As Planned.
-[][DIRECTOR] Staffing - Hydroponics Reactivation Pt. 1 (Locked)
-[] Staffing - Recreational Spaces
-[][DIRECTOR] Staffing - Morale Overview
-[] Security - Prospecting
-[] Medical - Selective Revivification — Technological
-[] Analytics - AAR: Fuyuki (Locked)
-[] Research - Industrial Framework: Refinery Suite
-[][SERVANT] Research - War Panoply of the Fourth (Locked)

The central conceit being that people voting for this (or a refinement) don't believe that we have a shot at clearing France in an acceptable manner as-is and we're forced to take the Grail there to have additional options.

I'm all on board with Pawns plan, mostly because I helped refine it :V

But it's the command approach that fits best with likely singularity deployment conditions, it starts work on our morale and material bottlenecks right away, and I think going to France early is more important as this is a tactical/strategic split.
If we stay and train more, we'll be individually a bit more capable.
But at the same time, that'd only be a minor power boost compared to something like an extra servant or a pocket nuke, but we have more important uses for a grail.

So it's better to go early- because if the lot we want to align with is winning, it means we can get to work consolidating that faster.
But if they're losing, that extra time gives us more room to staunch the flow, to start pushing back before we get pushed even further onto the back foot- which I think is more important, as there is active combat and even with training we will be far from "1v1 me france".

[] Plan Final Preparations
I think I'll support this one when the time comes.

we still have all three command seals for both of the masters at the moment right?
Not quite. We had to use one to save Medea from Herakles:
The Only Chance, The Crimson Seals: 80

Power and command slammed to the very fibre of her being, the words were unspoken but the intent were clear on the scarlet eyes of her Master. Her body and soul screamed as existence inverted all around Medea once more, depositing her right beside Hinako

Hinako Akuta
Command Seals -> 2 out of 3 Remaining
Still, IMHO that's no reason to invest both an action and a whole week worth of fuel to regenerate that single spent seal.

Its just today that I readed this quest and thats only focusing on story posts. I know this is an AU but where is most important member of Chaldea? Whos lack disturbs me greatly and makes me terrified of its implications.

Where is FOU?!
Good question. Who is Fou and why should he be in Chaldea?

Is there any chance that I can convince you to swap the recreational spaces for a departmental expansion for that plan? Don't get me wrong, adding the stress relief factors is important for us to do, but with morale, a basic counseling and psychiatry facility is being built so we don't have to do recreation asap. We're in a position where we can take a permanent extra action relatively freely, where the earlier we take it, the better the long term payoff.

Where we have two major areas where it has a solid use. Analytics is the real main research branch (research is just building) that helps with starting tech trees where the results get passed to the different areas. Meanwhile, security seems to have the most direct and numerous option chains right now. Prospecting which unlocks mining, reactor which unlocks summoning, the seal regen, the storage wing which gives us material access for servant and presumably to better store supplies.

Staffing has a lot of food actions which aren't always a thing and morale is being moved, they don't need it. Medical has few options and has Medea and David around potentially to subsidize actions with servants. Research has Da Vinci to go and subsidize things and they don't have many options as of yet.

So I think that there are two clear departments that are the best options, where the opportunity to do this expansion might not be around next week. So let's take the opportunity and get it done.

My earlier comment...
I eyeballed the Department spread and I can't convince myself that we're short in one really crucial area over another to take an Expansion.
I agree it's probably either Analytics or Security but none of those look to me to be so overcrowded with vital things to do such that we can't manage the shortfall with 2 Director actions.

Security is closest but Seal Regen doesn't actually matter yet since we haven't spent 3 Seals.

I was specifically making the post to disagree with your comment. :V

And I mean, just look at what Vocal posted above the update (and I list below), just showing what gets unlocked for Analytics off of only Marisbilly's contingencies being researched and starting tech tree trains. Just from one option, Marisbilly is a slight outlier but this is just in terms of getting us started there. There absolutely is a disparity in importance and number of actions between the two departments compared to the other three, where its worth getting it jumpstarted now, rather than wasting time with the extra action option languishing in an unused state.

Marisbilly Contingencies - Two Weeks: In The Event of My Demise...
-> Centaurus Contingency
-> -> Alpha [REDACTED] - One Week: [REDACTED]
-> -> Proxima [REDACTED] - One Week: [REDACTED]
-> Sirius Contingency (...prepare for the brightest light.) - One Week: Unlocks Siriuslight Command Seal
-> -> Dog Days - [REDACTED] Weeks: [REDACTED].
-> Eridani Contingency [REDACTED] - One Week: [REDACTED]
-> Tau Ceti Contingency [REDACTED] - One Week: [REDACTED]
-> -> [REDACTED] Project - Six Weeks: Unlocks [REDACTED]

Well, we *did* just learn that we're a few actions away from the Beast Research Track... If we're looking for Four, that'd be the place to look I imagine.

Where's Fou? Did we check the pipes?

Chaldea does not have a 'no pet' policy because there's definitely a need for non-human companionship so long as protocol gets followed. And while... a good number of them survived Lev bombs, there is never a record of a cat, rabbit, or bunny that has the name or affectionate nickname of "Fou" in the Arctic Base.

But no, there's still no way a pet can enter through the pipings in Chaldea ; v;

Right 20+ hours have passed and so vote is open. As with before, I will be highlighting the main points/differences between the plans.

[][SERVANT][RESEARCH] War Panoply of the Fourth.
This one is a relatively simply plan, despite the many (optional) tags. It makes Olga Marie the Mission Control, angling to get synergy with Medea for potential thaumaturgy applications. Notable in that this does not commit to Seals, but rather material prospecting and getting the extra action to Security.

A decidedly different plan. Delays the extra action in order to get further along in dealing with the mental states of the Chaldean Personnel with 'Recreational Spaces'. No other difference with the "Setup and Oil" plan.

The outlier plan. This one forgoes the Seraphix integration for well, bringing the Grail to France. Which is going to be an interesting thing. It also makes Maxamed the Mission Control, which has the potential of... frankly InterestingTM plans and consequences.

Vote will be open for at least 18 hours.
