Crimson Beauty of The Crescent Moon (Fate/Grand Order)

[X] Revelation

Well, bond points for Rits is always good, especially with Mash.

Eyes on the prize, people. As soon as any of them reach BL11, we'll take those delicious Quartz and throw them directly into the Xiang Yu Gacha.

"It's been four singularities now, will you just summon already?!"
"Never! I'm saving it all up for a future banner!"
"That doesn't make any sense!"

Excepting that there's a faint aroma of flowers, one that even her senses would be hard-pressed to notice, emanating from the stream so high up.
Oh, thanks for the hand, you voyeur.

It started all too simply, really. Both Archers were out in the swamplands hunting. Ritsuka was alone and Mash… had been having bad dreams when it happened, thrashing around her sleeping cot with quiet sobs.

She could not let that be, so she didn't. Naturally, she had moved to console her in her sleep.

And she did a poor job of it. Mash Kyrielight soon awoke and stammering that 'it's fine' and 'please don't worry' and-
Rits, how bad can you be at sleep consoling? XD

She spots Medea, the Caster facing a section of a wall for her lonesome, tracing her shaking hand on a singular name etched next to her own name. Her frame seems all the smaller even as the Celestial approaches and sees it clearly for what the name is. A grave.

Kuzuki Souichirou.

A loved one.

"Master-" Hinako ignored the faint sobs coming from the Caster, less awkward that way. "-know this. Know simply that for this closure, I will treasure this memory. That even if our contract is severed, this will be remembered."
Aww.

...kinda curious what they put down for Hinako.

To note, she isn't yet the Master that she could be by the end of Part 1. So very rookie- so very much a kouhai to the most angery senpai.

Makes one wonder, doesn't it? Or why the QM didn't do so the first time round. Might be actual plot point to come~

(Well, the actual reason was that it was a tight fit writing the Memorial Scene and trying to not bloat it overmuch. I'd rather write less than more, when it comes to emotional scenes.)

(There is actual constellation of a sort though that has Hinako's name in it. Well, the only constellation that has her name.)

Oh yeah, vote is closed. I forgot to do so six or so hours ago but Revelations won. Week Three will be up once I a) sleep and b) write about 10+ actions you folks can take.

Food is going to have to be the top priority, since if nothing changes we run out next week. Gathering food, of course, but we also really need to finally start the Hydroponics project, and I'm wondering if it makes sense to grab Automata just to speed that up.

We should also be finding the singularity soon as well, so that's going to happen.
Food is definitely a priority though.

Edit: and we have one more action to do things, so that's nice

I'm wondering if it makes any sense to start a controlled release of people who know what we are so that when it inevitably gets out we can lessen the blow of people feeling betrayed. Also I don't know how much it would matter in the grand scheme, but if we need to stop eating food for a bit to give everyone else more time it will probably effect us less proportionally

There's hundreds of people working in Chaldea - one less person to feed wouldn't make any kind of appreciable difference.

IC Hinako isn't really close enough to anyone to consider telling them about it, and OoC we don't have any idea about how anyone is going to react besides Roman, who would probably understand the most, Da Vinci, who probably would not care, and Ritsuka, who most likely doesn't have any idea what it would mean.

Also personally I think the secret would probably spread fast within a week

Aside from Ritsuka's training, this turn seems to have gone well! Also, It looks like I was right in thinking that there would be synergy with getting everyone healed first before doing the memorial. And what a memorial that was, it sounds a bit like a planetarium! So cool!

On an unrelated news, I am utterly swamped with IRL work and will be so until the foreseeable future of the month. Sorry peeps but the workload is going to force me to essentially write pretty much non-stop when I can and leaves no time for actual Questing.

That's totally fair.

You just take good care of yourself, we will still be here when you get disposeable time again.

The Fourth Master remains in her usual state, lazedly perched atop her bed.
It seems Hinako has similar habits to Ryougi Shiki.
"Yeah, Mister David here got the right of it. Even then-" The gunslinger had with him a harmonica. How he got it is unknown but by the campfire and next to a rack of guns of varying sizes and types, Hinako's Archer does make a nice harmonizing solo.
It's not quite a harmonica, but I'm reminding of these two comics.

"But it feels weird to call you Rits. It feels too short." There's the slight pout to her features before it fades to uncertainty. "Would you mind if…" She trails off.
Of course you can call her Rits-senpai!
"I-" Mash takes a deep breath. "I want to call you Senpai. I want to call you Senpai even if yo-"

Still, she would have none of it. Ritsuka Fujimaru rushed from the bed to envelop Mash in a hug.

"Of course you can. I told you, didn't I? Just ask." It felt weird. But that was that. It wasn't unwelcome to be called a senpai by her.
Warning! Yuri levels rising!
"Master-" Hinako ignored the faint sobs coming from the Caster, less awkward that way.
Less awkward or less familiar, Hinako?

For my 1 OOC Question, what is the most useful thing for us to keep in mind?

A Fine Vocalen/d/Today at 2:14 AM
Useful is subjective. I am assuming the us is Questers but...
...hrm.
My design philosophy then.
I am a cat. I am an adversarial QM who relishes on actually pushing you all and make you all, in no small words, actually lose in small ways.
Maybe even big ones too. I already showed the possibility of Ritsuka having an open heart surgery from Kotomine
I will be setting traps. I will be playing dirty in Singularity and beyond. I will endeavour to present obstacle...
...but in the end, I do look forward to you all getting good endings. That Hinako gets her peace. That Chaldea and the World actually pulls through. All cats are tsunderes, after all. I take lessons of escalation from Sage, but I take the lessons of balance from Torroar
I come bearing insubstantial gossip from discord PMs that will definitely in no way be relevant to our interests :V
