Create Your Own 40k Army

I find Imperial Guard regiments to be so much more amusing, in the diversity they offer.

So, another roll that isn't completely straightforward:

10: mixed regiment
40: feral world
97: temperate
19: infantry regiment
7: ranged combat
1: overzealous
97, dice rolled two more times: 80: gangers & 95: convicts
8: standard conscription
64: augmented troops
36: adeptus mechnanicus
17: Orks

Let's see what we can come up with...

Taranis Sector's Legions of Redemption

"Give me your criminals, your scum,
Your crazed masses yearning to break free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming streets.
Send these, the hopeless, the wretched to me,
They will serve the Golden Throne!"

-- writing inscribed under a statue of the Emperor in the planetary astroport of Pavonis Secundus

The Taranis sector, in the Segmentum Tempestus, is unusual compared to the rest of the Imperium, in that for the last three thousand years, it has handled the tithe-mandated creation of Imperial Guard regiments at the sector scale and not at the planetary scale.

Through a sector-wide alliance, each-world is mandated to regularly give as a tithe the worst criminal elements of their society, which are then shipped to Pavonis Secundus, a temperate world in the Pavonis system, home of Pavonis Prime, the sector's Forge World.

There, the gangers and criminals are sorted in order of physical and mental fitness, the worst elements being quickly recycled as servitors and/or organ banks, the rest being sorted as regular and shock troops. Both groups then undergo, under the expert hands and mecha-dendrites of the Mechanicus, a thorough brainwashing regimen turning them in extremely disciplined and overzealous soldiers.

The exact procedure is jealously kept a secret by the Adeptus Mechanicus, but what is known is that at the end of it, the future soldiers will have lost their old personalities and been sterilized, and will see their bodies laced with a number of augmentics supposed to increase their speed, agility, strength and overall endurance.

They are then subjected to several years of intensive training in the vast training grounds that is the planet, before being shipped to the rest of the Imperium to sustain its never-ending campaigns as combat-ready units.

Since their creation, the Redemption Legions have been mostly used against the Orks infesting the sector and the neighboring ones, their help being greatly appreciated, commanders having numerous times been surprised by the sheer zeal the Legions put at fighting the enemies of the Imperium.

The standard Redemption Legion is a Regiment of 5,000 soldiers cut into four 1,250 soldiers Battalions:
- A Mechanized Infantry Battalion, equipped mostly with Chimera troop transports and manned with Shock Troops
- An Armor Battalion, equipped with Sentinel walkers and Leman Russ tanks
- An Artillery Battalion, equipped with Basilisk self-propelled artillery and other artillery pieces
- And an HQ/Logistical Battalion, equipped with among other things logistical and engineering vehicles, with organically attached techpriests tasked with repairing the equipment damaged in battle.

The Legions put a high emphasis on movement and ranged engagements, using their usually superior mobility to disengage from melee and draw the enemy into an arranged killzone for the artillery. This doesn't stop them from being trained, able and ready to fix the bayonets and engage in a brawl if they needed to, for the Glory of the Emperor (and the Omnissiah...).

The principal menace against the Legions, however, is internal: The unusual circumstances surrounding their creation often draw the attention of the Administratum and the Inquisition, and it is always a hard and perilous game that must be played by the Taranis Sector to keep its traditions; traditions which have allowed each of the sectors world to instead concentrate on building their own Planetary Defense Forces.

The Sector has, coincidentally, been one of the most peaceful in the Imperium for the last three thousand years, boasting zero chaotic incursion, and no planet lost to the enemies of the Imperium in that timespan.

Elite jungle troops specialising in lightning strikes, seeking forgiveness for their sins they grasped this second chance and held tight, reforging themselves from petty gangers and convicts into an elite fighting force sent to the farthest reaches of the imperium where they led nigh suicidal charges from seemingly nowhere and creating havoc as they closed in on their foes and overwhelmed them by numbers, skill, and sheer determination, brutally executing their opponents before they could organise a defence. Once their foes were dead the Ulidian 412th regiment would move onwards to their next target running at a breakneck pace.

Idea : Gangs and the like often have a strong central identity they cling to. Catholic rituals have a big place in some Mafias. Make them a big gang of secret omnissian converts who due to their big influence on their homeworld were pretty much a defacto PDF against threats to it. Said planet ended up getting overrun by orks and the regiment are those that left with the evacuation ships, their ending up in a legal limbo leading them to being a quasi-mercenary force for various mechanicus factions.

House Cornwall

Vow: Standing Force

"And we shall be as a rock, defending against all enemies, within and without."

First Contact: Nova Terra Interregnum

We were first found by the servants of the Imperium during a time of darkness, for them and us. We shall endevour to aid them with all our might in making a galaxy safe for mankind.

Sovereign: The Imperium

"We are loyal unto the last. AVE IMPERIUM!"

Succession Laws: Free Knights

"We would call all who wish to serve our brother and sister."

Gender Laws: Cognatic

"All humans with loyalty in their heart are equal before the Emperor, man and women."

Ceremony: Divergent

"Our ways are ancient, and if you wish to join us in protecting what belongs to the imperium, you must partake of our ways."

House Demeanor: Brothers in Battle

"YOU THINK TO TEMP ME, CHAOS WRETCH! I WILL NOT FALTER, FOR I STAND NOT ALONE! I STAND WITH MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, MY ALLIES AND COMRADES! I WILL NOT BREAK! WE WILL NOT BREAK!"

House Flaw: Blind Hatred

"We shall never falter against the machinations of Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Slaneesh! When the FOUL servants of Chaos are torn asunder, they shall hear of our mighty hate cry against them!

FUCK CHAOS!"

Figure of Legend: Just a regular Knight
Deed of Legend: Slew a Daemon Prince

"Lo, did Knight Robert of Blades destroy the foul prince of Nurgle, and bring glory to the house, before succumbing to the Emperors Rest from his wounds most grievous."

Size: Small

"Though our domain is small, we shall defend it with all our might and wit!"

Homeworld: Feral World
Terrain: Ice

"We carry with us the frost and cold of Jorgheim, a land without technology, but strong in spirit."

Rule: Direct Rule

"I admit, we do love to micromanage. And by we I mean me. Don't judge me."

Doctrine: Armoured

"Just as our will is unbreakable, so do we prefer our forces to be similarly sturdy."

Beliefs: Revere the Omnissiah

"THE OMNISSIAH PROTECTS!"

House Allies: Adeptus Sororitas

"Anyone who calls them 'bolter bitches', will get a swift kick in the soft bits, courtesy of either them or me. They are loyal enemies of Chaos and will be TREATED as such."

House Enemies: FUCK CHAOS

"As you might have guessed, we DON'T like Chaos. Especially the scheming servants of Tzeentch."

So....House Cornwall.

I got a bunch of weirdish rolls, but hey, a house dedicated to BROTHERHOOD AND VALOUR who hates Chaos and is buddy buddy with the Adeptus Sororitas. Could be worse, right?

Time for another one.

I present the Leviathan 73'rd. The "Foe Hammer".

Regiment type(42): Imperial guard "Best of the worst, we'll hold the line and die trying.".

Recruitment criteria(27): Caste system "The blood of warriors runs through our veins.".

Recruit type(2) Elite tithe "Best of the second best".

Homeworld(100): Lost "We are all that remains.".

Homeworld type(63): Ocean "It was cold and wet"

Regiment type(71): Drop Troopers "Martyrdom by any other name".

Regiment doctrine(63): Close Combat "When you can see the whites of their eyes, you can appreciate your revenge".

Loyalty(21): Fanatical "Revenge of Martyrdom, there is no other fate for ones such as us.".

Modified Weaponry(100): Modified weaponry "Alot of the men have some promethium flamers attached to their las guns...the machine spirits approve.".

Regiment creed(41): For the Emperor "In life, service. In battle, bravery. In death, vengeance. All in his name.".

Friends of(81): The Imperial Navy "Of course you're on good terms with the guy's who drop you. Why wouldn't you be?!".

Enemies(48): Tyranids "They say they're without number, we'll just keep killing until one of us goes extinct.".

Gonna make another Knight House for funsies.

***

House Kurosawa

Vow: Crusade

"Forever shall we wage war against those who would dare question the authority of Him on Earth."

First Contact: Time of Rebirth (M31-M32)

"The Imperium needed us in the wake of great treachery and foul heresy. We were eager to test our might against its enemies."

Sovereign: Adeptus Mechanicus

"They are an... eccentric organization, but the Magi of Mars prove valuable to their allies."

Succession Laws: Tyranny

"All Knights must heed the authority of their Lord Paramount. Without him, they would squabble in personal duels and civil wars when they should be smiting the foes of the Imperium. Any who try and break away are to be executed for heresy and betrayal."

Amount of Ceremony: Rigid

"Tradition has served our family well before the Imperium brought us into its fold and it will serve us another ten thousand years more."

House Demeanour: Scions of Mars

"The Adeptus Mechanicus has crafted many fine warmachines for us in the past and we will do our best to prove ever worthy of their patronage."

House Flaw: Pride in the Colours

"What have need of we for camouflage or stealth. We are Imperial Knights! We right into battle with our banners held high and proud! All who face House Kurosawa will die knowing they fell on the blades of heroes!"

Figure of Legend: An Outsider
Deed of Legend: The individual was a stalwart enemy of the servants of Chaos, and slew a Daemon Prince.

"Our House did not know Archmagos Cassius for very long. He was responsible for supplying us support in battle in our greatest time of need, when a foul Daemon Prince of the Changer of Ways tried to turn us against the Emperor. He forfeited his life in order to bring that foul creature into oblivion's embrace. We will never forget that single moment of heroism."

Domain Size: Immense

"We watch over dozens of worlds and hundreds of moons. We are a vast and powerful bastion of righteousness that shines in the darkness on the edge of the Imperium. None shall overcome us. Any who dare strike at us will bear the fury of thousands of Knights."

Homeworld: Civilised World
Homworld Terrain: Ice

"Once, the frozen winds of our ancestral home would drive us to caves in search for measly scraps of warmth. We were hunted by colossal blizzard bears and toyed with by the fearsome Tundra Witches. But now we have risen to the stars and become stronger than every before. We have conquered nature, slain the immortal, and weathered the endless tide. We. Are. Invincible."

Homeworld Rule: Direct Rule

"The people need a strong and steady hand to guide them. We Knights are the perfect lords to direct their energy and time into productive outputs. Dissension will not be tolerated."

House Hierarchy: Strict

"There will be idle flights of fancy or fantasies of being something other than what duty demands you to be. We all have a role to play and none of us will shirk it."

Combat Doctrine: Siege

"You think those shiny walls will protect you from our wrath, mongrels? You are sorely mistaken."

Preferred Knight Variant: Knight Crusader

"When a wall must be broken, bring your most powerful arms to tear it down."

Restrictions: Knight Warden

"Our honored elders have done their duty and must retire to the homeworld to rest. There, their wisdom can be imparted to the younger generation so that it is never lost."

House Beliefs: The Emperor Above All

"Our allies among the Adeptus Mechanicus understand our beliefs, thankfully. Their reverence for the Omnissiah is inspiring, but the tales of the God-Emperor speaks to our warrior souls. This was a god who did not abandon humanity in the turmoil of Old Night. He did not turn his gaze away as we suffered, he did not deem us unworthy of his love and servitude. Instead, he spent centuries bringing us back into the light of civilization. He gave us his sons, his Angels of Death, his astropaths, and his Astronomican, all to unite humanity into one glorious whole. Forever shall we honor his sacrifice and kill those who dare demean it."

House Combat Strength: Nominal

"Many are eager to serve the Imperium and many more will serve it in the future."

House Allies: Adeptus Mechanicus
House Enemies: The Orks

"The Orks... to simply speak their name makes my blood boil. They are foul, unseemly, disorderly and plague-ridden! Everyone they go they leave behind their squalid touch, ruining the sacred worlds of Him on Earth! They dare to kill our brethren, our vassals, our allies all in the name of sport! War is not a game! It is not some wonderful exultation of glee and good cheer! It is a duty! A sacred responsibility to kill any who dare threaten you or your loved ones! The Orks insult us with their very way of life! We will see them all purged from the stars!"

***

Wow... I think I just made a House of proud, passionate, and sturdy samurai. What do you guys think?

Ehh what the heck, I'll make a new Knight House

Vow (6): Standing Force
"We guard the Emerald Expanse, from the Traitor, the Alien and the Daemonic"

House Contact(30): Great Crusade
"First couple hundred years where awesome, been a bit shit since then."

Sovereign(10) Something Unusual
Oh joy

Succession Laws (2) Primogeniture
The CK2 fan in me is pleased.

Gender laws (9) Cognatic
Ahh so we're Basque.

Ceremony(7) Nonchalant
Have I rolled up reasonable knights?

House Demeanour(7) Suffer Not the Alien to Live
"Ceremony gets in the way of Killing Orks you See"

House Flaw(1) We Stand Alone
"We protect these people, but that doesn't mean we don't think they're weird"

Figure of Legend(81) A Knight's Consort

Deeds of Legend(12)
The figure is remembered as the bane of the Orks, to such an extent that his name is known to the vile greenskins even to this day.

I'm not entirely sure how a Knight's Wife/Husbando did that but whatever, good for them.

Domain Size(7)Sizable.
I'm sure the Imperium just loves that an Isolationist group only nominally aligned with them controls serveral star systems. Oh Wait, Ad Mech, Never Mind.

House Homeworld (1) Agri-World
The House's true dark secret, the Knights originally started off as the equivlent of Guard Dogs for the Combines.

Homeworld Terrain (46) Desert
Desert Agri-World? Dice are you playing with me again?

Rule of Homeworld(4) Direct Rule
"We let the Peasants rule once, turned the entire Farmland into a Desert."

"Well accidents happen, maybe we should given them another chance."

"In Two Years!"

House Hierarchy(3) Strict

Combat doctrine (4) Stealth
Why is this option even here?!

Preferred Knight variant (36) Knight Errant
"We blow up the big stuff."

Specialty restrictions (77)Knight Castellan
"Dealing with the Infantry is the work of Peasants and my foot."

House's beliefs(26) Emperor Above All

House Strength(9) Nominal

Allies (52) Adeptus Titanicus
I suppose anyone can be stealthy when they're walking in the shadows of an Imperator...Wait no, it's still stupid.

Enemies, Besides the Orks (97) Tau
"A Manta is fine too."

Doesn't perfectly but I wonder if I've basically created a Dornish Imperial Knight House. With the Figure of Legend being a Nymeria expy

Let's do this. http://[MALICIOUS WEBSITE]/roller/view/4734467/
[66] PDF
[42] Death World
[90] Airless

[93] Siege
[13] Drill and Discipline
[18] Overzealous

[26] Caste-Born
[18] Punishment/Redemption/Recycling
[68] Augmented Troops

[70] Best of the Best
[81] Inquisition
[03] A HORDE OF EXTRA ORKY ORKISH ORKS, ORKING UP OUR NOTHING!

...
I thought I had something, but rolls 8 through 10 fucked it up. Basic idea was that they live on a bunch of asteroids, and they man the naval guns set up to repel invaders. Try to imagine Imperial Japanese defenders, but on space rocks instead of islands.

Making a new knight house, for fun and possible profit. Then I accidentally made them into a an Anime with severe budget issues.

Vow(1): Strategic Prognostication.
"The cards, the cards, the cards do tell. There'll be chaos, and eldar and da' orks as well.".

House Contact(58): Nova Terra Interegnum
"It was a time of relative peace, one of your great^8, grandfather actually got a day off once.".

Sovereign(4): The Imperium of Man
"Our Father, who ar't on terra, hallow by thy mech.".

Inheritance laws(9): Free Knights
"Want a title? Kill a few heretics and then ask, Xenos need not apply.".

Sucession laws(7): Cognatic
"When I said we give titles to everyone, I meant everyone. Except for the xenos, the psyker the mutant and the heretic. etc."

Amount of ceremony(10): Divergent
"I assure you, it is absolutely normal to address the machine spirits as 'mother'. The skin tight suits are also necessary.".

House Demeanor(10): Uphold the honor of the house
"Have you left a scorching path of destruction lately? Then do it!".

Flaw(4): Our way.
"We follow the ways of the Ancient Saint Sinatra.".

Figure of legend(52): A knight initiate
"Let me tell you the tale of how your mother and I got married...".

Deed of Legend(93): Extermination of the Xenos
"And that my son, is how your mother won my heart, and cleansed the planet of xenos filth.".

Domain Size(1): Tiny
"In hindsight it would have been better if she didn't use the moon to destroy that planet, we could have used it.".

Homeworld(74): Civilized world.
Homeworld Type(62): Ocean
"I don't know why they put a bunch of giant robots on a mostly oceanic world. It doesn't make sense, but we're here anyways".

Homeworld Rule(5): Stewardship
"This is the local Knight lord, just want you to know we need funding.".

Hierarchy(1): Strict
"Speak out of turn, and we burn you. Alive. With that melta."

Combat Doctrine(1): Close Combat
"We cannot afford bullet casings, beat them to death."

Preffered variant(79): Knight Warden
Unavailable(82): Knight Warden.
"I couldn't find any information on them, I wonder why."

Beliefs(40): Emperor in all things

Combat Strength(1): Few but Proud
"Yeah, we've got all of ten knights who can fight. It is not a good day to be us".

Allies(1): Administratum
"There is nothing crueler in this universe then they, for friend or foe, they will destroy you all the same.".

Enemies(53): The Tyranids
"Honestly, we're used to stepping on bugs".

Taking up one of the Household's sets of armour in extremis, and prodding in so doing a good deal of buttock, presumably. Seems to be the form for such things.

And now, to solidify a Tyranid-fighting Freeblade. Starting with just why they're a Freeblade.

What the hell, why not?

Vow Nature(2): Strategic Prognostication

Hey look, there's totally going to be an attack in that nearby system. Sign here to give us funds to build an army of giant robots to fight them!

House Contact(95): The Waning/The Time of Ending

We were all just chilling out on our own, 'till an Imperial Scout ship came along. Turns out shit is pretty fucked up.

Sovereign(1): Imperium of Mankind

Of course, being Knights and all, we couldn't turn down a cry for help, and imminently swore loyalty to the Emperor.

Succession Laws(6): Tyranny

I only give out Giant Warmachines to people I know I can trust, and certainly not names I hit on a dart board.

Gender laws(1): Agnatic

Unfortunately, no female has yet to qualify for Knighthood. Fucking lousy aim.

Ceremony(3): Rigid

In addition to our sausage fest, we've found that by making everything about us boring as all get out, we've been able to stay free from the corrupting influence of chaos.

House Demeanour(2): Cleanse and Purify

Of course, the sheer boredom of day-to-day life and the lack of any form of stress release has lead to our members being quite pent up. Woe betide any who have to face them on the field of battle.

Flaw(1): We Stand Alone

When we first tried to fight for them, we found out something about the Imperials: they are a bunch of dickbags. So we were all like, fuck that noise, we're not helping you again unless we have a really good reason.

Figure of Legend(15): Dark Age of Technology

Deeds of Legend(18): Bane of Orks

Our House remembers the legend of the Great Knight from a great many years ago who managed to kill a shit ton of orks.

Size of our Domain(6): Sizeable

We're got a decent amount of land, around a full constellation of stars.

House Homeworld(19): Agri World

Homeworld Terrain(73): Urban

Our homeworld is pretty nice. It used to be just a bunch of farmers, but we've long since switched over to vertical farming.

Rule of homeworld(3): Direct Rule
Of course, I have to still boss these stupid peasants around all the time, idiots don't know how to do anything themselves.

House Hierarchy(8): Flexible

We're pretty chill when it comes to Knights, though.

Combat doctrine(8): Siege

Of course, the only way to fight is to corner our enemies in one place where we can drown them in shells.

Preferred Knight variant(9): Knight Paladin

Yeah, our house is a bit cheap though, so we mostly just buy vanilla patterns.

restrictions(8): No Restrictions

We do still keep a decent amount of all other patterns on hand, though.

House's beliefs(94): Purity of Man

The only thing worse than Imperial Dicks are Dicks who think they are better humans than the rest of us because they have a third eye or some shit, man, fuck those guys.

House Strength(3): Under Strength

Well, it turns out our recruitment policies are not the best, so it's taking us a we bit longer than usual to get back up to full strength.

House Allies(74): Imperial Guard

The Imperium might be made of dicks, but most of the guys trying to protect them a pretty cool.

House Enemies(96): Tau

There's only one force in the Galaxy to be considered our true rivals, the Tau. Only they know the true strength of Giant Robots and can give us a real fight.

Navy Armsmen: Experts in void-combat, they'll defend the ship or take the enemy's.

Hm, this might interesting.

Nobility: Bought their commission for honor and glory.

That actually do shit.

Elite tithe: The best of the best of the planet were recruited for this regiment.

Makes sense.

Civilized World: Soft as clay before the firing of the kiln; war is their crucible.

Again, Sense

Airless: They don't fear the void like most.

They seem to be the Perfect Naval infantry

Won't even say it.

Adherent: Hold fast to the Creed and His will.

Practical minded

Specialized Lasgun Pattern

BlunderLas Ahoj!

For the Emperor: Fervent belief in the Imperial cult and the righteous mission of the Imperium fuels this regiment.
We're Loyal....

:o We're a Regiment of Gottwalds.

EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW

Now I know what your thinking, Teen Spirit, why are you reviving a thread that's over a Year old. And I'll answer, shut up it's my thread, I do what I want!

....And I found new Rollers

Storm Trooper Company

Titan Legion

And probably my new favorite, if only for how weird it can get. Heretic Cult

Heretic Cult in particular is described as something you use to create enemies and background elements for Dark Heresy and stuff like that and boy can it get kind of weird. Let me show you one I got.

Cults of Society
(6) Warrior Brotherhood

Cults of Ideas: Background (Presumably Founding ideology)
(5) Secessionist Conspiracy

Cult Leadership Type
(93) Hivemind: I'm going to assume it's lead by a hivemind and not entirely a hivemind, because quite a few roles wouldn't make sense if it was the latter.

Cult Leadership Nature
(4) Military Figure: Frankly I think if the Imperium is letting hiveminds into the military it's standards have slipped just a bit much.

Leadership Style
(6) Dread Aura.

Have to roll 1D6 to figure how many times I roll the next two

(3) Armaments and Defenses
(14) Instruments of Xenos: The most heretical Cellos ever to exist
(6) Fortified Protection
(9) Advanced Technology

(4) Tokens of Allegiance: I think that's giving yourself away a bit too much there guys
(9) Marked Mindset
(2) Special Material
(4) Hidden Sign
(1) Symbolic Color

Cult Allure
(9) Entrapment: The worst cult of all, the Pyramid Scheme.

Rites and Observances of the Cult
(4) Foul Communion

Focus of Worship
(16) Technology and Artifacts of the Xenos

So if I'm reading this right. This is basically a Xenos artifact that forced a bunch of Imperial officers into a hive mind. And that hivemind is now trying to subvert the Guard or the PDF into Successionism and is outfitting them with xenos weapons, and presumably is trapping people into their cult by forcibly expanding the hive mind. So it's like A genestealer cult but with tech from a completely different group of xenos, or I literally just rolled up a Genestealer cult, not sure which.

Heretic Cult in particular is described as something you use to create enemies and background elements for Dark Heresy and stuff like that and boy can it get kind of weird. Let me show you one I got.

It actually appears to be an expanded version of the Cult Generator from Dark Heresy 2e's Enemies Within supplement.

Anyway, let's roll up a cult:

Origin of the Cult
10 and 15:

Errant Adeptus and the Most Dangerous Game. Ok, i'm just gonna go with crazy Arbites literally "Hunting" criminals.

Leadership:
58, 16, 3

Daemon, Strict Military Ranking, Dark Camaraderie. So a Daemon (Presumably of Khorne), leading a corrupt Arbites force, with the cult held together by a love of hunting people and a dark sense of camaraderie.

Equipment and Identifiers:

2, 1

Plentiful ammunition and an iconic color. Presumably that's the color of their uniforms, and they have access to plenty of ammo because no one knows they are a cult so they can just requisition more from the munitorium.

Draw and Activities:

2, 6

Ok, they're a refuge (From what?), and they use blood sacrifice as worship which makes much more sense.

Deity:

2

Khorne.

Ok, relativity straight forward but interesting cult.

I think I'll do a Stormtrooper Company.

Company Type: 5 - Grenadiers: Elite troops taken from veterans of a planet's existing regiments.
A good start, I'd say.

Training World predominant terrain: 100 - Agriworld
Not what I expected to be honest. But I guess these guys will be well-fed after every training mission?

Specialization: 10 - Stealth Operations
This'll be fun, no doubt.

Special Tactics: 43 - Shock Troopers
Can you do stealth and shock at the same time? I'm not terribly certain if they mix well.

Special Equipment: 21 - Variant Combat Gear
A good asset to have. Always be prepared, especially in this crazy galaxy.

Company Leadership: 10 - Guard Officers
This is shaping up to be a rather stable group of elites.

Company size: 10 - Massive 800-1000
Good grief, these boys are well-staffed. Must be very busy or in high demand.

Company renown: 10 - Legendary
Three 10s in a row? Are you shitting me?

Company demeanor: 13 - Choleric
Why are they so angry? Heh, must think they aren't famous enough.

Company Friends: 11 - Adeptus Arbites
Hm... I guess the company helped them curb some local gangs becoming full on cults. Might be a boon for urban combat, sharing info and all that.

Company Enemies: 21 - Orks
Absolutely no surprises here.

Minor Xenos Species/Empires: 45 - Yu'vath/Legacy of the Yu'vath/Rak'gol
Not sure who these are. I'm guessing the company had to curb their pirate raids and such.

So I've got a fairly grounded company that gets the job done quietly and efficiently. I think I'll call them... the Shadow Blades. Kinda cheesy, but I like it.

The Order of the Equivalent Soul. Founded by the lowest of the low, this underhive cult is frequented by the task masters of the underhive, it's somewhat high ranking members make it hard to prosecute. It's mantra is simple: To transcend human limits and create a society where all are equal in all ways.

It is presided over by the Council of Everymen, a cabal of loyal, but diabolical, figures, with it's high prophet being the Ur-Everyman, a debased mutant twisted by xenos artifacts into a bloated being, frail and rotund of body but powerful of thought.

Among it's ranks are Low-Everymen, a type of servitor created using alien technologies, commanded by the Ur-Everyman via implanted cybernetics linking them together. These Low-Everymen are equipped with weapons of butchery and slaughter, with chain-axes and flame weapons implanted.

Of course, these are merely the footsoldiers. The Order can, at a moments notice, summon it's daemonic servants, the Apostles of Exchange, and the even greater Progression Dirges, daemonic servants of T'chaim, King of Craftsmen, Patron of Slavery and lesser Chaos God of equality, whose worshipers are few and far between.

Special Tactics: 43 - Shock Troopers
Can you do stealth and shock at the same time? I'm not terribly certain if they mix well.

Stormtrooper Tactics from WW1 were built around using Stealth to get as close to enemy trenchlines as possible before attacking. Probably something like infiltrating up to enemy lines, then hitting a weakpoint hard and then using momentum and the enemy's position of weakness to roll up their entire line before they can react.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. This tactic might work well with Orks. I can see the Shadow Blades earning glory to their name by stopping Ork Waaaghs! in their infancy or taking down particularly hard warbosses and Ork warmachines.

Minor Xenos Species/Empires: 45 - Yu'vath/Legacy of the Yu'vath/Rak'gol

Wait no that's a Rakghoul from KOTOR, my mistake.

This is a Rak'Gol

Anyways I'll roll up some Stormtroopers

Company Type
(8) Inquisition Stormtroopers- Schola Progenium trained wo/men permanently assigned to the Inquisition (Oh this is gonna be fun)

Training World predominant terrain
(68) Wasteland (Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a *Is shot*)

Specialization
(2) Airborne

Special Tactics
(54) Armored Assault (So either a lot of Valkyries or Airdropped Tanks)

Special Equipment
(61) Augmented Troops

Company Leadership
(4) Commissar

Company Size
(9) Large: 500-700 (Because sometimes the Inquisition just wants to fill the Sky with hundreds of Airdropped Tanks)

Company Renown
(1) Unknown (Probably intentionally so)

Company demeanor
(65) Heroic (Yay)

Company Friends
(13) Adeptus Arbites (...Okay then)

Company enemies
(33) Eldar

Well Either it's an Inqusitior's private Airforce or these guys regularly airdrop tanks on hive cities or something. Either way pretty damn awesome.
