I'm rolling up a Hive Fleet
Hive Fleet Nyx

95-Separate entity: The fleet came in from the galactic southeast, passing through fringe territories belonging to the tau
86 (rounds to 9)-Hive fleet: This is separate in coloration and location from other hive fleets, thus showing its distinct nature
48 (rounds to 5)-medium: while not as large Kraken or Leviathan, Nyx is large enough to pose a threat to entire sectors.
52-join the octarian fight: The fleet is called by the psychic emanations of Leviathan to consume the ork empire that is refusing to sit down and be food.
8-synaptic web-Most bioforms that can have synapse will, such as trygon primes. The large numbers of warriors, hive tyrants, and other synapse creatures mean that removing synapse is nearly impossible.
24 (round to 3)-acidic fluids: most liquids produced by the fleet will score power armor and melt the unprotected into nutritious slurry in seconds. This also applies to the spores released into the air, which will cause buildings to melt, exposing the tasty morsels within.
45-specialist creature-Psychic vampire: A large Neurothrope heads most attacks, stealing the souls of its prey, and using it to create unimaginably powerful bolts of power that shred vehicles.
63-Tau Sept: Hive Fleet Nyx has had multiple skirmishes with tau septs in the region, leading to adaptions against energy weapon fire.

Alright I know it's been a while but I honestly just found this thread and want to try my luck at these tables so lets role up a Chaos Warband.

Allegiance: Chaos Undivided

Blessings:Moderate: The war band regularly has individuals within whom are capable of garnering the attention and blessings of the gods

Common Blessings: Deadly Protrusions: Once again, these take the form of physical deformities, however, these deformities serve a purpose in combat. With mutations such as spiked limbs, sharp fangs, large horns, etc. the blessed ones are even more deadly in close combat.

Head Quarters:Fleet Based (Ex. Pirates)

Structure:High percentage of Marines with some cultists namely for infiltration/sacrificial/etc. purposes

Recruitment:Harbors fleeing traitors of the Imperium

Combat Doctrine: Sorcery

Legendary Champion:Champion of Chaos!

Deeds for Chaos:The figure led a bloody and vicious raid upon an unsuspecting Imperial naval fleet and successfully destroyed many of the ships as well as taking over a few for the warband

Realized I should've used a d10 for the deeds roll but decided to just use whatever the first digit was so "95" became "9".

Ladies and Gentlemen I give you The Horned Corsairs(name from the name generator at Bolter and chainsword)

We are a Fleet based Warband of renegade Astartes who forssok our allegiance to the Corpse-Emperor and his useless lackeys who would limit our quest for power. Declared heretics for our studies into the Empyrean and its wonders by weak willed fools we took to the stars with our Chapters fleet. Our glorious champion Leonatos Gillmer led us upon a raid of a Naval strike force assembled by the Inquisition to bring us to heel. Forewarned of the Imperiums treachery by our Sorcerers divinations we struck quickly. The protusions of bladed bone our warriors were blessed with shredding the pathetic Armsmen who stood in our path we destroyed or crippled dozens of Imperial vessels as they layed in anchor and took several Frigates and even a Dictator-Class Cruiser and its compliment of Furies and Starhawks. We seek out those who fled the decaying morass of the Imperium and encourage them to take up arms alongside us. This paltry system will be the first to burn under the fury of our broadsides and spells.

Now you may be wondering why I'm reviving a thread that's been dead over a year. Well I got a like out of the blue and I decided to look through the rollers again and discovered the Inquisitor Creator, which I'm not even sure I've done before, has reached...interesting levels of crazy. So let's make an Inquisitor.

Gender
(78) Female

Age
(11) Young: Between 40-55

Ordo
(41) Xenos: Deathwatch, Represent!

Title: For some reason we can roll 1-3 times on this
(57) Nobility: I'm going to go with Vicountess

Philosophy
(70) Moderate: "Look I'm not going to to shoot you on sight for using Tau weapons but it's a bad idea."

Methodology (2)
(15) Semper Eadem (Always the same): Most likely an Amalathian, it is understood that the status quo should be maintained, or that it is far too difficult to change.
(87) Quo Fata Ducunt (Whither the fates lead): Not possessing an overly rigid scheme or plan, whatever events may arise are wherever this figure shall head.
"Just whatever keeps things stable I guess."

Psychic Ability
(22) None

Quirks (2)
(10) Shady Past: Nobody knows much, but everybody's heard the sinister rumours.
(99) Quite a character: Roll twice more on this table. Oh No
(68) Arch-nemesis: The Inquisitor has acquired themselves an arch-nemesis.
(24) Terran pilgrim: The Inquisitor has been to Holy Terra, and this influences their behaviour and their usual topic of conversation.
I get the impression some serious stuff went down on this pilgrimage.

Resources (4)
(49) Harem: The Inquisitor possesses a harem, which may be purely for personal use (Inquisitors can get lonely too), or it may help out in their line of work.
(90) Fortress: Roll on the Fortress table.
(29) Personal army: The Inquisitor maintains a privately acquired body of troops. Roll on the 'Personal army' table.
(43) Armed spaceship: Roll on the 'Armed spaceship' table.
Oh jeez, so many more rolls. And yeah, get the impression the Viscountess came from a pretty powerful family. Also yeah not sure why Harem was on the list but it was.

Personal Army
(68) Imperial (other)
Household Guard from her family no doubt.

Armed Spaceship
(35) Strike Craft: Basically Light Cruiser

Fortress
(64) Space Station: Festooned with weapons batteries, turrets and heavily shielded.
Most Noble Families have castles, most Nobles are boring.

When Marguot Ragnier and her family left on their grand pilgrimage, she was the tenth in line to her father's throne and on the verge of being kicked out of the family entirely. When she returned, by herself, some seventeen years later. She Was Viscountess of the planet Arles, an Imperial Inquisitor and a sworn enemy of her former Brother by marriage, Bohemond de Dampierri.

Of course an Inquisitor can't really rule a planet, so she quickly abdicated the crown to her Nephew. Though she kept the title, along with a quarter of the Household Guard, The Space Fortress of Élysée, and her Father's personal ship, The Altair.

Rumors surround her past, of just what exactly happened on her pilgrimage. Some accuse her of killing her family, though for what reasons no one can agree. Despite that, she is a firm Amalathian in the Ordos Xenos, a strong believer that the Inqusition is meant to protect the Imperium, not reshape policy. Thought the meer rumor of Bohemond being in the sub-sector is enough to cause Ragnier to disappear for months at a time, hunting for him.

"Wild Hounds"
Warband's Origins: Warband offshoot
Warband's Alignment and Blessings: Khorne
Blessings of the Gods: None
Common Blessings: ...
Headquarters: Fleet Based (Ex. Pirates)
Warband Structure: High percentage of Marines with some cultists namely for infiltration/sacrificial/etc. purposes
Recruitment Methods: Recruits from worlds that are fully under the control of Chaos and out of reach of the Imperium
Combat Doctrine: Close Combat
Warband's Exalted Champion: Daemon Prince
Deed for the God: The figure discovered an alien race and brought it to worship chaos, empowering the gods further.

So, some Daemon Prince found a race a Xenos and converted them to Chaos, then decided that was enough glory for him to found his own Warband.
And he proceeded to make a Warband of Berserker-wannabe pirates that aren't actually brave enough to get Khorne's attention.
discovered the Inquisitor Creator
Gender: Male
Age: Old (90-150)
Ordo: Ordo Minoris
Title: Miscellaneous
Philosophy: Moderate
Methodology: Etiamsi Fueris Turpis Hie Salvus Erit (Be saved even though you are filthy)
Psychic Ability: None
Quirks: Arch-nemesis, Visions
Resources : "Ties with-"
Ties With: Administratum
...So, Inquisitor Generic.

Interesting....
I'll have a go.

Gender: Male
Age: Middle-aged (let's say he's 60 and looks like a very fit 40-year-old; touches of grey at the temples, maybe a few wrinkles)
Ordo: Ordo Minoris; let's go with Ordo Militarum
Title 1: Ordo-Specific; Watchman-Captain
Title 2: Nobility; Count (because I like it)
Title 3: Nothing (Which is fine)
Philosophy: Extreme Radical; ho boy....
Methodology 1: Quo Fata Ducunt (Whither the fates lead): Not possessing an overly rigid scheme or plan, whatever events may arise are wherever this figure shall head.
Methodology 2: Facta Non Verba (Deeds not words): Thinking can be a virtue, but then again it wastes valuable heretic-purging time.
Methodology 3: Victoriam Vult Accurata Praeparatione Gaudeant (Victory likes careful preparation): An intricate planner, often someone that will weave cunning webs before striking a precise blow at their enemy's heart.
Psychic Ability: None
Quirk 1: Outward philosophy: Knowledge is power, use it to smite the enemy! Everybody is sick of hearing about this Inquisitor's affiliation.
Quirk 2: Terran pilgrim: The Inquisitor has been to Holy Terra, and this influences their behaviour and their usual topic of conversation. [Rerolled because Sadist didn't fit with the rest of what's building here.)
Quirk 3: Celibacy: Either through chemical treatment, personal choice or battlefield injury, the character foregoes pleasures of the flesh.
Resources 1: Armed Spaceship
Resources 2: Unarmed Spaceship
Resources 3: Archeotech: Ancient and baroque machinery has been unearthed by the Inquisitor from humanity's past. Who knows what it could do?
Resources 4: Ties With
Resources 5: Generic psionic resource: This could be a sanctioned telekine or an untouchable, astropaths and even navigators could be included here.
Ties With: Adeptus Astra Telepathica: Due to investigations into psykers or being a psyker themselves, the Inquisitor has ties with the body that deals with all sanctioned psykers in the Imperium. (Well that ties in neatly.)
Unarmed Spaceship: Exotic: Alien (exploration or transport vessel?), Mechanicus exploration vessel, Naval/Inquisitorial Reconnaissance (possibly with psychic wardings), Ministorum Cathedral ship, etc.
Armed Spaceship: Strike Craft: Swift and well-armed for its size, usually equivalent to a light cruiser in tonnage.

Hm. An interesting setup....

Inquisitor Jenkins

Gender 10 Male
Age 49 Old
Ordo 96 None
Title 12 Ordo Specific
Title 58 Nobility
Philosophy 48 Temperate Puritan
Methodology 74 Duty First
Methodology 21 Deeds not words
Psychic abilities 27 None
Quirks 67 Archnemesis
Quirks 67 Archnemesis
Quirks 60 Injury
Resources 100 Exterminatus
Resources 46 Armed spaceship
Resources 62 Assassins
Ties With 2 Space Marine Chapter
Armed Spaceship 31 Strike Craft
Injury 29 Lost minor body part

I feel like this guy has his own Strike Cruiser which he basically lends to an Astartes chapter (probably a group like the Lamenters who were down on their luck at the time and really needed it) and essentially chills out with them as they cruise the galaxy, fucking up bitches and heretics left and right. They purge the world, he does the sifting necessary to root out everything and making sure it doesn't crop back up again. Occasionally he hears something requiring a more proactive or personal approach and so directs a company along with him to where he needs to go (it is his ship after all). Along the way, he's made a couple of major enemies, one of whom cut off his ear and sparked a minor war in the process.

Counts as content do it
Thanks! Alright, let's do this.

Origin: Imperial Guard - A true regiment, drilled and competent in their service. (4)
Demographic: Vat-Grown - No families to complain, no friends to consider (70-Wow, not bad)
Nature Of Recruitment: Standard Conscription - Average or above average citizens recruited from all levels of society (5, okay so how would that work with clones?)
Regiment Homeworld: Feral World (39 - Okay, so how does a Feral World create Vat-Grown soldiers?)
Homeworld Terrain: Agri-World (97 - Maybe this is why?)
Core Units: Armored (79 - TANKS! For some reason I love tanks)
Specialization: Shock & Awe (8)
Loyalty Rating: Undisciplined (7 - I'm guessing they're not exactly happy being thrown into the Imperial Guard, sucks to be them.)
Special Equipment: Modified Weaponry (91 - Louder cannons, stronger weapons, Heavier Armor!)
Regiment Creed: Glory In Death (79 - Okay...So a martyr regiment?)
Allies: Adeptus Titanicus (53 - YES!)
Enemies: Chaos Space Marines (55 - That explains the tanks, and the modified weaponry, they need all the firepower they can get if they're going against these guys.)

I'm thinking of a name and backstory for them, does the name Iron Banner sound good?

Fluff: The Iron Banner Tank Regiment hails from the Feral Agri-World known as Crucible, which holds a very dangerous environment for the people who live there. As time went on and their population dwindled, the people of Crucible resorted to creating Vat-Grown servants to supplement their numbers. However, these servants were unhappy with their situation, and were often hunted by the monsters hiding within the forests of Crucible. When the Imperium rediscovered the planet, they called for a Guard Regiment to be founded by the planet's leaders. Fearing the loss of their only remaining "true-born", the leaders of Crucible sent their Servants in their population's place. These soldiers showed a knack for using heavy vehicles, and as such were placed within something they found comfortable. Utilizing fast moving tanks and powerful anti-armor weapons, they charge forth onto the battlefield while steamrolling over the enemy positions. But when the forces of Tzeentch invaded a Forge World, the Iron Banner found themselves fighting alongside the Titans stationed there. This battle would soon be the start of a great friendship, as the tank driving warriors see the Titanicus as their closest allies in battles that followed soon after.

I think it needs more fleshing out, but what do you guys think?

Oh, this thread is still active? Well then!

Skitarii

  • Recruitment: Vat-grown. "We Are Untainted By Nature's Imperfections"
  • Glitches: No Glitches. "We Are Pure!"
  • When Created: Horus Heresy "We fought the Arch-Traitor's forces."
  • Purpose of Creation: Enemy At The Gates "It was The Word Bearers and their Daemon allies we faced first."
  • Legends: Remnants of The Dark Age "We found an STC for mass production Volkite Weapons."
  • Fresh-Forged "Many attribute his discovery to luck..."
  • Allies: Titan Legion "The God Machines Guards Us, Forward!"
  • Enemy: Chaos Daemons "The Creatures of The Warp are our Foe, and we theirs."
Not very complex is it?

Haven't Found any other place to put this, along with the fact that I don't feel like making a new thread for it, so let's go with this.
