If you keep forgetting things like that, I recommend building a checklist.
I used a checklist in my car which works wonder for making sure that I don't forget essential stuff before leaving my house, though I do keep forgetting to check my car checklist from time to time.
It's also what pilots do. They have a preflight checklist which is part of the reason why air travel is so safe right now.

Hmm, back-up plan: start work on the Temple, but don't finish it. Next turn, we can take two different actions instead of working on the Temple, thereby setting back progress and ensuring we'll never finish it in time.
That ought to do it....
True. That should also work. We do actually want the temple, just not when getting it would improve our stability. Especially with stability already at 3/3. Much better to let it languish next turn, lose some progress, get the stability hit, and then finish it later, hopefully getting us something nice.*looks at votes*

That seems incredibly unlikely. I find it far more likely it takes 4 progress. There is a good chance the Templre needs ~10 progress which means we can´t finish it in 2 turns no matter what we do if we don´t want to start a famine.
The last one did cost 4 to get to the Mountain Village if thats a clue.True. That should also work. We do actually want the temple, just not when getting it would improve our stability. yeah, this whole quest has been approval voting. Just, generally most people want a specific 2 votes to win, so they only vote for that.So going back, have we been doing approval voting this whole quest?
Because that one guy just voted for like 8 secondary actions and no one said anything.
If so, then I'd add what my secondary choices are if Main Temple doesn't win.
Yeah pretty sure we have been.So going back, have we been doing approval voting this whole quest?

Implying a building needs as much work as literally carving a path through the mountains? There is a good chance the Temple needs ~10 progress which means we can´t finish it in 2 turns no matter what we do if we don´t want to start a famine.
Same goes if it needs only 8 progress. We can´t do 2 sec temple actions per turn even if we sec farm as we are still 1 eco short.

was pretty certain that it was 14, more likely that i remember that wrong.
If we mained the temple, 4 turns would be 16 progress. That's half again the amount for the sunrise passage. In other words if we main the temple
Then like the path to the mountain village it can be done in 4 turns.
We might take a hit but the faction benefits are worth it.
The original sunrise passage was only to the mountain settlement, we chose to extend it.If we mained the temple, 4 turns would be 16 progress. That's half again the amount for the sunrise passage.
