Considering the system you're using has degree of nuance to tactics and write-ins beyond "hit them" or "run away", a plan setup to organize each step sounds cleaner than having all of them be separate votes. Mismatched actions, details, and dialogue could result in Sonic acting in wonky ways that voters didn't intend for.

And welcome to the main dish of what this quest serves! Stages! Now this is where your speed and every skill that you know kicks in! From the arts of jumping on pointed rocks, to dodging balls of spikes, and even going around loops! You'll face a lot of things here, enemies especially!
Every stage has a set length, in which you travel through in rounds. Each round is a second, you should be able to see what amount of length you can travel in a second in the Character Sheet.
The first fight of the quest was a simple introduction into combat, from now on, I'll only be pulling your input into actual fights. Or new encounters with enemies that you wouldn't know how to deal with at first. As you can see from what happened previously, simple enemies are just that, simple, for they tend to be on the low HP side of things. Should a multitude of these small enemies come on by or one that can actually match you, you'll be free to vote on how you'll face them.

A row of 15 rings are stretched out on a line before you. You may not know what a lot of things are, but you definitely know about this… Kinda.
Everywhere has rings, well "everywhere" being at least all over Green Hill Zone. Whenever someone, whether it be an animal or a passerby, gets near to one, it gets absorbed into their body as it turns into some kind of energy within you. You can take in as much as you want, and throw it out just as easily. Though strangely enough, passersby never seem to want to take any whenever they come to this area, you wonder why that is?
In the end, these things must be useless considering not even they want it, which is why after a while you just tend to throw out any that you accidentally absorb.
Not really that you have the time to do so now, especially with being distracted by so many things at once right now. Maybe after you find the person behind all this.

But at the last moment, you trip. Just barely missing them as you tumble to the ground right in front of them as they all proceed to slice at you! With your back on the grass you tumble out of the way of 3 that try slice at your body, that is until the last one manages to take a slice and your torso, spilling blood. "Gyuh!" Pain, actual real pain is felt for perhaps the first time in your life. Damn, they really are out to kill you! But you don't give into fear of the situation, after all if you can't save your friends who will?
You take no heed as you just barely notice 10 rings fall out of your body.
Now mad, you take your body for another spin, rolling towards the four of them again and managing to hit three! Taking out two into big explosions as your body grinds against them, whilst one other gets some minor scratches, and the last one somehow managing to just barely dodge out of the way despite your speed. You see a gecko and a young fox out of the corner of your eye run away.
A smirk forms of your lips. "You see that! That's how you do it!"
The two come forward and miss as you sidestep their attacks. "You gotta do better than that! This ain't the time to be a slowpoke after all!" You shout as you do something different this time, as you jump in the air and form into a ball before falling upon one of them, cutting them almost right down the middle up to a moment where you bounce off them into the air. A small raccoon skedaddles outta there. "Get going bud!"
You're getting into the groove of things now, have taking three of them out with only one left in your way. And with you already in the air for this next second they can't hit you, allowing you to go for another strike at this last metal guy!
Though as you found out quickly that aiming is hard when you're being flung into the air. As you fling yourself right down and hitting the dirt below missing the Metal being before you, on which closer inspection you now are starting to realise it looks sort of like how a ladybug looks. Strange. These things don't even hold ladybugs in them!
The Metal Ladybug looks at you with what feels like an intense energy as you both go and attack, both ultimately missing the other as you pass each other. You both go again, the metal being looking for a swipe at your legs as you look to jump and get your quills into their side, but yet again you both miss.
"Heh! You seem like a challenge!" You say as you jump up for a third time to get a Spin Jump on them, but as you connect you barely scratch the darn thing as it uses it's blades to push you away, though not enough where it can reverse the bounce you take into the air, creating another opportunity for an attack. Sadly enough you miss though, as the dirt below takes another pounding as you notice the fight area you're in getting more roughed up as you go along.
A swipe of it's claw goes towards your neck! But you fall back able to get away from it. "Close one!" Your brows sweat at that. "But another Spin Jump should get ya this time you hunk of junk!"
Your knees bend as you take another leep, rolling your body towards them, and finally your body connects! But before it can go completely through, the thing manages to push at you again!
"Aw come on! Almost had it there!" You shout in exasperation.
And with you in the air you smack right down, but once again miss to truly land on them. A swipe to your side from the metal beast but to no avail.
Another jump from your side as you manage to strike it, but before landing the hit once again the Bug swipes you away with it's claws. "Oh no you don't!" You shout as you grab onto it's claws with your hand and pull yourself to your enemy! Quills cutting through them slowly until they go right through! "Yes! I did it! I-"
But as you celebrate, you notice one odd thing come out of the Metal Bug.
You can only just slowly blink as you catch your breath from this battle. That's it, now you're just completely confused on what's happening anymore.
Whatever. Anyways as you finally take a good look forward the paths split, as platforms suspended in the air make a path within the sky connecting to various mountain hills, some with waterfalls flowing down them. There's another path below, bit it seems to be more dangerous with it's obstacles. Granted you'd likely be down anyway should you fall from the top path. Hm... Which to take?
