Cacophony (A Zerg ....Presidency Quest? In 40k??)

Also a reminder to all Infested players;

OPTION
INFESTED
With efforts to recover technology, long-asleep strands of Terran memory are awakening. Zerg-infused knowledge or remnant Terran humanity can be replaced.

Replace War, Diplomacy, Growth or Evolution with Technology at a 2d6 rating.

Must ping and inform me of desired change to be recorded as such.

You could get 2d6 on tech!

Pope Innocent XX: I propose we start using our access to the local terran city to gain as much knowledge as possible relating to their culture, societal structuring and religion so we can better understand them and how to remain undetected and infiltrate further

My confidence in my own abilities remains high.

However I am willing to rest while a new Triat assembles.

I agree a Triat is needed, I even agree with those. But I do think one of us should train while they lead.

After this, I would suggest a Sequencing Trained in Evolution.

I promise to make things interesting I see a path of evolution and adaptation, this world is ours but now is not the time to reveal ourself, it's time to reel in the chaos.
It's a time for the new, my predecessors has done much by simply being incharge but they have let disorder reign and drawn in danger.
Messely gains for great risk and overreaction all our current problems caused by hunting terrans and denying our undeniable spies with the hoverfly bites.

and as for me to draw in voters what do you folk say about free Pizza there is meat and grain to be had what's more there is CHEEZE to be created and more subtle means of infection without it being so noticable as a stomach bug with a bug who people want to get rid off.

Or would you care much more for a technology expert infested

I have some thoughts on the grox they are known to survive weeks on a diet of just soil and rock alone the only reason they are really domesticated is there extremely efficient digestive system and adaptability along with the taste.
We have no reason to fight terrans when we can become there world. terrans are more then one world spreading sickness brings attention to our region and people will want to get rid of the parasites unlike a silent tapeworm laying eggs as there is only room for one.
We have also not used small animals for passive observing and getting into the city as tiny scavengers.
We even took down what seems to be a grox-prodder that farms those violent beasts.
Need to hide that creep

Did you miss the hoverwing patrols? We've been using small insects to monitor the terrans for a few turns now.

Also the terrans literally think we're animals and our hive cluster is covered in trees.

Then we got the hoverwings involved in the attacks and now they are on the hit list.
Think even smaller species think rodent, small birds and insects of not so extreme size living there day to day life keeping a eye open as our sight in the "fog of war" as it's called in games.

And vermin something that can blend in and not be shoot from the air and instead cram into those small nocks and crannies of there cities not in the open

The hoverwings used in the attack were mutated into monstrous forms that could kill and main, we still have the inconspicuous spyform who hasn't been pestered - before, during or after any of these developments.
"Hoverwing experiences a massive growth of mandibles as well as connected tissue, becoming capable of actually ripping into Terran plastic-metal."
Yes mandibles but I dont think a human with a flamer will make the distinction when everything else is about the same. We lost the chance to have them be ignored very likely.
And them pulling back is not much of a victory just a back and forth that got started with humans being hunted.
Sure the base got a bit covered ontop due to the quantity of flying vehicles but there is job to be done on the ground level and reduce the amount of drones sighted

Actually had a thought can there just be as many sequences as possible and using all of these dice to evolve imagine the jumps we could progress by

Was mentioned in voice chat so QM can clarify here if they wish, because I'm not sure myself why different types don't stack their dice if they Unity.
Just imagine those 3d6 doing diffrent parts of a big project or just all there effort on diffrent organs like there will always be a upper roof based on what we know or time spent.
Such as cybernetic creatures would require two specialities or three so collaboration is needed

Interlude: Mechanicum.
A citizen lies upon the examination table, restrained. Tech-serfs dote upon cogitator banks, observing data-flows from the sacred medical auspex sending its waves across the citizens body. "Tech-serfs, report findings." A droning voice, electronic in nature comes from a humanoid shape hanging off wires from the tall ceiling of this edifice to machinery, metallic skulls floating with glowing red eyes.

More vox-voices echo as on, Tech-serfs unified in thought, "Parasitic infestation, unknown source, xenological in origin." The Priest above stares down at the subject with glowing red and green eyes. "Xeno-infestation. Tyrannoforming?" It rumbles, examining closely with extending telescopic eyes.

The genetic code of the parasite is broken down by a jabbed needle that shake the paralyzed subject with shocking pain. "Unfamiliar gene-scribing. Not Tyranid in origin. Something new." The Tech-serfs respond in unison, "Something new."

The parasite is drawn out by the needle as mecha-scalpels from a mechadendrite reaches down and cuts it free. "Morphic genes, changing actively." As they observe the parasite evolving to survive the open air, a long, tremendously thin worm with oversized jaws. "What is your origin, xenos."

"It is present throughout the population. The governorate are requesting aid." The Priests eyes shift mechanically over, "Offer false solutions. This infestations progress must be recorded. For the completion of my data-vaults. Prepare a vessel for my eventual orbital observation."

"For the completion of thine data-vaults." The serfs repeat, droning as they do what they were ordered to. The parasite is reinserted into the subject as observation continues, "Show me your secrets, strange creature." The Priest utters, closely observing the abdominal region where it resides.
