Breath of the Wild: The Aftermath of the Calamity (CK2 MP Strategy)

What day of the week do you think that turns should begin/end?

Hey, all, I wanted to get your guys' input on something. Starting this coming Tuesday, I will be going back to school for the spring semester, and I am taking a relatively heavy courseload. As a result, I'm not going to have as much time to be able to devote to this campaign: If I have to choose to devote time to either my homework or this, I'm going to choose the former.

So, I propose that for the time being, starting on Turn 4, we go back to having Turns be 2 weeks long, like during Turn 1. I would most likely choose to still have turns due the Saturday of the first week; this would allow me a week to calculate actions as well as a week to answer any questions about turn results. It would also allow you guys at least a week to complete diplomacy and war/battle results. Does anyone have any major objections to this proposition and, if so, do you have any suggestions as to how we should move forward?

Something that I want to go on ahead and mention to you guys while I'm thinking about. Many of you have recruited a full army via an Army Recruitment action. If you feel the need to split this army into different regiments to serve multiple purposes, you may: an "army" is a group of about 10,000 soldiers of varied specialization.

End of Turn 3/Beginning of Turn 4 (NG+)
Everyone has turn in their actions and, as such, Turn 3 has ended. Turn 4 actions will be due on Saturday, January 20th, 2018. As we discussed earlier, starting in Turn 4, turns will be two weeks long: so the turn will end on January 27th, 2018.

The following are pieces of information that every major ruler could find out easily either by official channels or simply through hearsay.

First Contacts and Major Diplomacy
  • Hyrule and Arcadia have signed a non-aggression pact.
  • Arcadia and Holodrum initiated a trade agreement.
  • Termina and Lorule signed a non-aggression pact. Termina has proposed a matrilineal marriage between Princess Hilda of Lorule and Kafei, son of Termina's Mayor Dotour, but the proposal was rejected.
Other Major News
  • Rumors circulate that the tomb of the Hero of Time was infiltrated and something precious was taken from there.
  • Mayor Dotour and his wife, Aroma, welcome their daughter, Alma, into the world!
  • Arcadia has initiated an Anti-Slavery task force to stop the transportation of monster slaves through the Sea of Arcadia.
  • The former lair of the Moblin Lord Greasus with Labrynna has been cleared of monster activity by the armies of Field Marshal Hedgefield.
  • Hyrule Castle has been cleared of monster activity by the Hyrulian armies led by Commander Link.

Turn 3 Player Wealth Leaderboard (#1 is the Wealthiest Nation)
  1. Arcadia
  2. Labrynna
  3. Termina
  4. Holodrum
  5. Hyrule
  6. Spiritia

What's this about? Why, and how, are people enslaving Monsters?

Some... let's call them unsavory sorts have decided to take advantage of the fact that Ganon has been destroyed and abduct some of the remaining monster hordes and sell them on the black market. Their assumption was that the humanoid governments of the major powers wouldn't care about that sort of behavior if it was done to monsters.

I'm surprised they were wrong, although that doesn't answer the question of how.

And, come to think of it, did they consider Holodrum when they decided to do this? After all, it is, as @bdun140 (I think) put it, being run by a cabal of Monsters.

Do you think that the type of people who try to sell slaves in a society like the one you guys have set up would be wise enough to think about Holodrum in this scenario?

Also, I will not say where it is (mostly because I want to see if anyone can figure it out), but there is only one place where it is legal to actually sell slaves in a public market.

At a guess, I'd say it's either Lorule (since it should still be going to hell due to lack of Triforce) or Holodrum (again, run by a cabal of Monsters).

That said, I'd still like to know how they're managing to enslave Monsters of all things.

Im guessing magic or pure fear.

A note here: Lorule does not lack its Triforce in this continuity. This is post A Link Between Worlds where in Link and Zelda use the Hyrulian Triforce to wish for the restoration of the Lorulian Triforce.
