Question about the River Zora, how feral are they compared to their more civil cousins? I played Hyrule Total War and they were literal river based fishmen raiders.
 
I would like to announce that we will have two new players starting in Turn 6:
  • @ErraticWizard- playing as the Twilight Realm. Currently there is no contact between the known world and the Twilight Realm, but reportedly the portal to access it is somewhere in Hyrule.
  • @SalvaW- designing an original country. It will be an archipelago located in the sea to the south of the Samasa and Gerudo Deserts.

Hey guys I have a question your adult character by default starts at 16 and then your cost modifies their age from their yes?
 
Update on @SalvaW's country. Its name is Xiaodao, and it is mostly populated by former Hyrulians who fled with its Emperor after the Great Calamity a hundred years ago. It is consistent of four islands to the south of the Samasa Desert in Holodrum and the Gerudo Desert in Hyrule, with one larger island flanked by three smaller ones. Since then, it's population has led a relatively simple existence: farming rice, harvesting fish, smelting ore, etc., but the country has made significant financial prowess in recent years from the creation of Mothula silk, which has been a well-kept secret by the Nanmin (the population of Xiaodao) for generations.

It's current governmental structure is a Divine Monarchy, not unlike the kingdom of Hyrule that it is derived from. It is currently ruled by Emperor Chen and his second wife, Chio Di.
 
So, fantasy not-Asia. Any Shiekah/Yiga among the exodus? Or, is that something that nobody outside the country would know IC? (On my laptop right now, can't access the Discord until I get home)
 
That's a good question i haven't thought about, but i presume if any, the normal Sheikah would have followed mostly because the Yiga rather supported the calamity, so why flee?
But i will leave it, open, because you're right. If some Sheikah fled as well, that is surely no public knowledge because the Emperor would hold them in imperial service.

Point they may be silently carrying out their watch in the shadows. I enjoy the overall concept though, really interesting.
 
So, over in the discord, the GM's rolling for JCL's kids, and just a few minutes ago he realized he forgot to roll for genetic traits cropping up randomly. And for a brief moment, it looked like one of them got Attractive and the other one Quick.

Then Algernonab realized he had been using a d10 instead of a d100.

End of Turn 5/ Beginning of Turn 6 (NG+)

    • Everyone has turn in their actions and, as such, Turn 5 has ended. Turn 6 actions will be due on Saturday, February 17th, 2018. The turn will end on Saturday, February 24th, 2018. However, I may be a little bit late posting the summary that weekend as it is my brother's birthday and I will be leaving town to go celebrate with him.

    A heads-up for those of you who didn't see it, we have two new nations in the fray. Starting in Turn 6, we have the Twilight Realm played by @ErraticWizard and Xiaodao played by @SalvaW.

    The following are pieces of information that every major ruler could find out easily either by official channels or simply through hearsay.

    First Contacts and Major Diplomacy
    • Arcadia and Lorule have made first contact and signed a trade deal.
    • Arcadia and Lorule have joined the East-West Alliance along with Hyrule and Termina.
    • Kafei, the son of Mayor Dotour of Termina, has recently entered into a matrilineal marriage with Queen Hilda of Lorule. As such, he has left the court of his father to be with his wife.
    • Hyrule and Spiritia have made first contact. They have signed a trade deal.
    • Hyrule and Lorule have made first contact. They have signed a trade deal.
    Other Major News
    • The Prime Minister election in Labrynna has been completed! After a decade in office, Prime Minister Oscar Plen of the Autarkists Party has been unseated. In his place sits Jonathon Coombs Lately of the Cooperativists Party. Also running as a third party candidate was Ralphonso Ambi of the Royalists Party.
    • Queen Zelda of Hyrule has married Link, the hero who sealed Ganon away.
    • King East Kingswood of Arcadia has married Avalon.
    • The Empire of Xiaodao has once again reentered the political climate. It is lead by Emperor Shian Chen, descendent of the "Great Prophet" that lead his people from the Western Continent to Xiaodao during the Great Calamity.
    • Spiritia has put out tourism advertisements in the Western Continent. It is up to the leaders of the countries in the western continent as to whether they wish to allow their citizens to take up that offer.
