My vote remains the same. "Do it" is a failure, and "Refuse violently" is just the worst of both worlds. Introspection and actually thinking things through is the best bet here.

BTW, I don't like too much that he's going to become a Demon Ninja Cyborg Vampire Magical Girl. Yeah, that's what happened in canon, but to me it's rather an excuse to ignore the canon and make an AU than a reason to make Ichigo an abomination against common sense and good taste.
