Bleach: Derailed

[x] What will be done about the arrancar organization

[X] If it's a bad thing that you agreed to fight Kenpachi

Of course, we all know that everything involving Kenpachi is automatically good, but Ichigo has yet to learn that.

Ahahaha... that's adorable. Getting a hit on Kenpachi that actually draws blood will be a creditable result with the only real fights under Ichigo's belt being the tournament and probably a spar with Komamura, if it doesn't take an extended stay with the Fourth to get 1-5 back on his feet it'll be impressive. It would have to be in front of 200 or more other members of the Eleventh and end decisively in Berry's favor to displace him as captain, and I really don't think that's in the cards so soon - Ken-chan is an utter combat-monster.

Ichigo doesn't know anything about Kenpachi IC. We need to ask the question at some point, and this way we might learn the steps to go through to get bankai just to survive, anyway.

I'll be honest. My home internet has shit itself, and the soonest a repairman can get to the box is Monday. Do not expect updates.
Eye caught "home" and "died" and I freaked out for a moment there.
You literally didn't see this word in the post you quoted, so... wut?
Does the term 'shit itself' seamlessly translate into 'died' in your head?
If so, fascinating...
Also... eye, rather than I?
What kind of shit you smokin', dudeski... because whatever it is seems rad as hell!

EDIT: Imma dum-dum.

It's the first thing he saw, so what first came to mind was...

And if a body can't read a full third of words in a thing (internet), that's still preeeeeetty darn bad, and I'm still wondering what a body's smoking.

Not you, obviously, but... there are questions, here.

Pretty much this, yeah.

And maybe I skipped a word on literally first glance at the page, but it looks like someone failed to read the title entirely, until it was pointed out, so...

Certain words stand out the most in certain circumstances.

Short post consisting of a sentence or two, threadmarked, eyes pin point on Home and Died. It's a simple trick of cognition that would happen to anyone and is actually understandable. The brain just does that sometimes because... actually it's been a while since I last read up on this stuff, but suffice to say that the phenomenon is not unknown and extremely common. It's pretty darn normal as fug my friendo.

If nothing else someone's momentary panic/concern doesn't warrant your frankly insulting response.

Ooh, I can explain for @Lilithium! See, the human brain is, to use common parlance, extremely lazy. Most cognitive functions rely on shortcuts developed over a person's life. The relevant one here is the tendency that most people, but especially people who have had to do large amounts of research in the past, have to skim a small section of text for keywords and then file it as "relevant" or "irrelevant", crossed with the innate importance of a "home" in human cognition and the similar level of importance ascribed to the concept of "death".

Which is a really fancy way of saying people often skim over short blocks of text and pick out the important looking bits before they know what they're doing, and "home" and "died" are words that usually qualify as important looking, but internet usually doesn't hit that same note in the brain.

I love Psychology.

Given the quest you run, I do not find that surprising.

I mean, someone explained Persona 5 to me as "Pokemon, but also Inception as written by sociologists" and that was it for me, I was doomed.

Ichigo beats/ties with Kenpachi pretty early at the show before he gets Bankai. Winning is probably largely a matter of getting Zangetsu to give us a big enough power boost. Still whatever training we can get beforehand would be good since Kenpachi probably has good odds on killing us if we underperform.
