Bleach: Derailed

Hmmm, just got a reminder that Soul Society has always been up to some shady stuff concerning the Noble Families, Squad Zero, and the Soul King and that Aizen and co. may have actually had some legitimate reasons for rebelling. I'm definitely more interested in Aizen right now, and finding out what his motivation may be for rebelling here.
Aizen just doesn't like being bossed around and decided to rectify that by killing god and stealing his throne, instead of being invited like everyone else. All he had to do to was invent something good with bullshit bleach science, instead he spent a 100 years figuring out how to make a castle in the desert, give it a sun, and build a army.

No, I've been reading some stuff concerning the Soul King. Apparently Aizen learned something about Squad Zero and the Soul King that contributed to his decision to rebel against Soul Society. Something also about how the history and origins of Soul Society are based on lies. It was some stuff that Kubo didn't have time to put in or hint at before he had to end the manga.

Edit: Also Aizen is a complex character. I think it is likely that the reason that he to rebel was a lot more that not liking being bossed around.

I honestly believe some of that and would do more so if it's wasn't fucking Aizen says such things. Like the Soul King is fuckery, but if the alternate to that shadey shit is siding with a more personally massive murderous dickwad like Aizen; I'll make my own alternative with Zangetsu and Ichigo.

Ichigo in canon was already an impossible abomination slash eldritch entity in larvae stage. I honestly thought it was possible that he'd end up replacing the Soul King and getting Madokami'd. An ending like that might be way too depressing for shounen jump though. I dig those endings...

I could dig that it would start with Kyraru asking for help with something like "Ichigo I'll only ask you to help me with one thing for the sake of the seritai" we go back up the zero squad he's greeting them normally while they look all grim. They all suddenly attack in unison announcing that he has been chosen as the next soul king. Ichigo gets one last new form his bankai gets properly revealed in the grand royal. And the next time we see him he's encased in crystal surrounded by his friends from the human world holding the tickets they got in the final arc.
And it ends with his final thoughts instead of Aizen's.

Wasn't it a fact that Ichigo was a Candidate to replace the Soul King and only dodged that bullet because of Yawch corpse thing?

It's unfortunate but you could tell he was getting tired. It was probably for the best things ended as fast as it did. Yeah it could have been improved but how crazy would things get if the story just didn't end? Too crazy for this head I think
This head? Nah, too crazy for

Okay I have a thing, but it's not good. It hasn't been good in this form, or in the previous form. This is an important scene. It has to fit.

Sorry that this is taking a while.

It's going to be a character defining moment, so better to take the time and get it right. Thanks for the progress update, though.

I rather enjoy the quality of the material you put out, and I would rather you took your time to fix whatever you have so that it is up to your standards.

You know I think this is the first time we had a inner soul moment for you that doesn't have some form of suicide going on in a bleach quest, really do please take all the time you need.

No one knows. Kubo was forced to end things too quickly at the end.
no i'm pretty sure that they mentioned they were originally going to use Ichigo as the replacement soul king in the Light Novel until Ywach nommed the original SK and made his Corpse usable, Ichibei was looking forward to chopping up Ichigo and thought it would be boring if he couldn't speak for the rest of eternity...presumably so he could enjoy the screams.

Edit: @TPK take as long as you need can't rush quality after all.

A fine wine must be aged appropriately. Much like a fine cheese or even meat, for time is proven to improve everything.

What I'm saying is that the fruits of your labor will make a classy treat. It's better this way =3

...Say what?! This is literally the first time I'm hearing of such a thing. Point me to where this came from, please.

Yeah it turns out Aizen actually had good reasons for rebelling, the royal guard aren't actually under the command of the soul king (because he is/was a rock that can't talk) and report to 5 founding families of SS who are the ones who really run things, they lied to everyone in SS after the battle and said the SK never actually died so noone would find out it was replaceable (they rushed getting Ywach's corpse to replace him and the people who actually witnessed the process of creating a SK were so horrified they started to understand why Aizen did what he did).

Also the only reason Ichebei actually bothered have Ichigo trained was so he'd be strong enough to replace the Soul King, rather than thinking he could win, was why he had Shunsui give out those soul tickets so his friends could 'visit' him (basically come see him be a rock, presumably under the lie he was being all heroic and shit).

Oh and all the Royal guard/Squad Zero survived because they did some weird magic with the Oken and the Royal palace that basically turned it into a Horcrux for all of them.

Although a big hint they might not be the good guys was mentioned waaaaaay earlier, when we found out Oetsu actually used Shinigami souls to make Asauchi (My theory is he took them out of maggots nest).

From the Wiki:

Ōetsu Nimaiya invented the Asauchi that have the potential of becoming Shinigami Zanpakutō. He forges them using a method that melds a multitude of Shinigami souls together. Ironically a similar method was used by Sōsuke Aizen in his creation of his experimental hollow White.[35]

I mean if turning your own soldiers into swords isn't evil i don't know what is.

From the Bleach 'Cannot fear your own world' Novel.

wow suddenly Aizen destroying Soul Society doesn't seem so bad

... nah, he's still a betraying murderous dickbag, it's just that he was aiming that at equally despicable colossal bags of dicks, who'd been at it longer. Soul Society for all its flaws fulfills a necessary purpose in keeping Hollows under control and managing the souls of the dead until they reincarnate.
