I'd rather deny him the fight and then come after him later. It insults him and these fights are supposed to be less-than-lethal, so such a fight wouldn't be enough for me. I want him to be out of the Academy forever. Or at least a few months/a year.
That and no one knows that Yachiru is even his Zanpakuto at this point IIRC(That only came out during the 1000 Year Blood War Arc). Kenpachi sure as hell didn't since his sword was always screaming according to the Old Man in canon. So his sword really isn't truly a sword, at least by Bleach terms(Hell, I'm not even sure Nimaiya Oetsu would even call that an Asauchi). It's more of an empty shell that Kenny, due to his enormous strength, can still use to whale on people/hollows/whomever.

If he won't respect the intended meaning here, he doesn't get to fight in the ring. Beating him at his own game would beat him, sure, but it would also give him a sense of the validity of his play to strength; being deliberately cruel just reinforces what he did, simply that you're stronger than him, so you get to do to him what he did to Takako.

Just treating him like any other opponent will be more of a blow to his pride than "styling on him."
But beating him up will be more cathartic than throwing him out of the ring.

Doesn't beat around the bush, gets straight to the point and so deals with him quickly, but at the same time uses Zangetsu a bit.
Maybe I'm misreading the most impressive moves part and it might be able to feed Zangetsu's pride a bit so he stops being so upset, but I'm not convinced on that.
