Arise o Youth, Destiny is Yours (No SV, Welcome to the MCU.):

June 5th, 1944

You awoke one night and remembered something. You are just a person like any other. After all, you were born, you had a family.

You had emotions and wished for life.

You wanted things to be simple.

Yet things were not simple to you.

You lived in a world at war.

As you awoke, you saw the skyline above you, the sky of the city you called home.

What City are you From:

[]New York: The Big Apple itself, one of the largest cities in America, maybe even the World if you were being honest. It was a place where all sorts of people seemed to gather together. Maybe working for a common cause. Maybe just trying to start a new life. You remembered mom telling you before she died that America was a land of opportunities. Second chances, and Fresh Starts. You are untouched by the horrors of war, if not its more underlying causes, like the rationing, and saying goodbye to your father as he left to join the fight. That was Two Years ago. You hope he came home soon. (Begin in America)

[]London: The Center of the British Empire. The Jewel, in a sense, to the Modern World. And a place that the Jerries always seemed to love to bomb. According to old Nan that is down the street. Of all the places they could have bombed, West End seemed to be the last place they should have bombed. Father's out on the front, manning an AA gun and Ma is in the factory, and now you need to be the head of the house. Well… second head, seeing as your sisters are the ones keeping you out of trouble. (Begin in the UK)

[]Berlin: The Reich is Strong. That was what the Radio keeps on saying. The Reich was victorious. But you couldn't help seeing that things were different. There was fear in the air. Sometimes people would keep looking at you, as if… Well like you were a Jude. That wasn't far from the truth after all. You had hidden that fact from your life since the war began. Since they started moving your people. Displacing them, stealing from them. Killing them. You would not die. Not if you had a choice about it. (Begin in Germany)

AN: Hello SV, welcome to another quest where I dive headfirst into insanity, the MCU, and try to complete this beast.

Let's have fun.

The Mutated Youth
The Mutated Youth:

You looked out at the mark and found yourself feeling bold. The day was still young, and despite the Wermacht being out in force today, there was profit to be made in the black market.

The burgeoning market near one of the airfields was underground, deep in the sewers of the city's sprawling waterways and underground passages, and subway tunnels. There were not many good places to hide now, since the rumors of a rebellion and mutiny occurred.

Something about a beast called Hydra, going against the Führer's orders. And men being forced to take sides as the growing power struggle divides the Army High command. More and more, you heard soldiers and units start to talk. Drunk men saying that the Reich, if it could not find ways to keep itself strong, in the face of the Soviets and the Allies.

Even with Hydra and other scientists promising Wonderwaffen, Wonder weapons that could end the war, there was uneasiness in the air.

The disappearances, the round-ups of the Undesirables, Communists, homosexuals… Jews were continuing. Every night there seemed to be more dragged in the streets, into trucks, cars, or on horse-drawn carriages.

Disappearing forever, or as forever goes for you.

Sometimes, you thought you heard shots from those moments. And you saw blood flow down the streets.

You took a deep breath and remembered a Prayer from the Torah, and from your mother. The songs of land you may never see. Of Moses leading his people out of slavery and to the Promised Land.

You were not Moses, but you were someone who was blessed by God.

Quietly, you took a look in the window, to see your face. Your hair. Your sparkling eyes.
That twinkled in the sun.

Inhale. Count to Three. Exhale.

[]Place Image here.

You knew who you are.

Even if you were a Jew.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Old Veteran was smoking as he saw you. "You are late." He said as you took note of his Iron Cross on his chest, as he puffed away. There were many men whom you could have hidden with, but the Veteran here was the most unlikely. He was blind. He was old.

But he was wise, and he felt pity to you.

You frowned. "I'm sorry."

"Quiet." He replied as you stood before him. "You smell cleaner than last night? Sneak into a bathhouse?"

You nodded. "Yes."

"Lying isn't going to get you anywhere." He stated.

You frowned. "Bathed in the River."

The old man then grabbed your hand. "Hmm… did anyone see you?"

"No." You replied. "It was night."

"You're cold." He stated, feeling your trembling hand. "Have some tea."

You took a seat, and you saw the old man. "Boy."

"I'm-" You tried to say something else, but instead, the old man poured a cup of tea, perfectly, as if he could see.

"I know. I am not a fool." He replied. "But I've been calling you boy for a long time, ever since we met, not even knowing your name. We've gotten to the point where I feel you deserve to be called your name."

You froze. "I…"

"Well, will you tell me your name, or would you like me to call you something I like?"

You sighed. "My name is-"

[]What is your name.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was dark.

Finally.

You could finally try out God's gifts.

You took a deep breath as you reached within your body, your mind, your spirit.

To finally unleash your gifts.

What powers do you have:
(Choose 1)

[]Hard Light Constructs: You summoned the shape of light in your hands, making a pipe or a pole of some sort. They were made of Light, yet they were solid. They were not a part of you… Yet they were.

[]Evil Dopleganger: You looked at your evil twin with a frown on your face. "What no witty comeback? You seem to forget that you need my help if you want to escape the evil that is among us, remember?" He was everything you were and wasn't. He was a killer, ruthless, even brave. Yet he was only a clone. A copy. One you could replace. Too bad he felt the same way.

[]Super Learning: You looked at the Book and read through the pages. It took only ten minutes, and when you finished, knowing everything there was to know about mechanics."One book down, ten more to go." You said to yourself.

[]Sharpshooting: You can never miss. Perhaps that was a good thing. Any item is thrown by you, any slingshot, any weapon… you can point, and hit the target you want. Your mind calculated the distance, the humidity, the drop, gravity… everything in an instance.

The Beginning
The Beginning:

June 6th, 1944, 4. AM Berlin Time

You took a deep breath and continued to read. It was hard enough in the candlelight, but you couldn't sleep tonight.

You couldn't sleep most nights, not with the memories in your mind keeping you awake. The screams were deafening. The silence, even worse, as you remembered.

Remembered the night everyone died.

It was maddening, to say the least, hearing the trucks, the gunshots, the screaming. The dragging of your brothers, sisters, and parents out into the cars, as you hid, first in the floorboards… then in the woods of the Black Forest, taking refuge hiding and living like a rat.

Then the Old Man found you, and he took pity on you. He knew what you were, yet he held no malice in his eyes, as you had seen others stare at you as you saw them look at your Yellow star. The hateful word stitched onto it. The word that made you not a person, but a beast, an animal.

The Old Man never told you his name, but his uniform was that of a General.

He had cleaned you and had tried to send you away, to someplace safe. In France, so you could escape through neutral Spain, to get to Gibraltar, and into British hands.

Yet you had refused to leave, hiding away from the transport, and becoming a rat in the city. Scavenging the trash, stealing, being a regular nuisance to the usual suspects. The members of the Gestapo and the police had tried to find you, but they could never find you. You had been far too sneaky.

You walked over to the room where the old man was sitting with one of his comrades, taking great pains to hide in the shadows. "Hans, we must choose, Hydra's influence, or Hitler's Government. We do not have the resources for both."

The Old Man shook his head. "Boy, shouldn't you be in bed?"

You took a step out of the shadows and revealed yourself, as you saw the Old Man now looking in your general direction, while the other man, the older man, with a navy uniform looked at him with concern. "I thought you said he was in France Hans?"

"Wilhelm, the moment he's been in the city for months, like a rat… He might be useful."

"He's also a Jew, we were lucky the last time when the Red Skull had held that information over your head for information in Norway." The Admiral stated as he shook his head, hiding his shock. "You harboring him could get you removed from your position, and get him killed. He cannot be worth that risk."

"Were any of the people we rescued were?" Hans asked the piercing question as you shivered.

"Of course." He replied. "We are soldiers, not monsters."

"He remains. He has been quite a help with keeping a facade that Hydra has been playing, watching me." His statements made you feel warm and fuzzy. The old general's praise was so little yet so much to you. "But I will ask again. Hydra, or Hitler's Government?"

There was silence for a moment before there was a long sigh. "Hitler's Government."

"We are in agreement then. Tell the Colonel we are ready for Valykerie." Oster replied.

June 6th, 12 PM, Berlin Time

Nothing felt normal. The Old Man could only pace around the house as you cleaned for him, and tried to get into more of his books.

Yet you felt something rotten in the air. A festering pain that he could not escape.

You had the same pain.

"Heinrich. Boy." He had said your name than the nickname with fear in his voice. "Do you trust me?"

You took a deep breath.

What do you say?:

[]Yes: "You saved my life. How could I not trust you?"

[]No You remained silent.

Heroes And Villains
Heroes And Villains:

June 14th, 1944

-[X]Yes: "You saved my life. How could I not trust you?"

The Old man seemed surprised that you held such words and such faith in him. "I have not expected much faith from you."

You nodded. "Saving one's life gives one perspective in terms of what is good and evil. You told me once that the true character of the German people was being trampled by Hitler's Government. By Hydra's experiments and unethical demands. And by this war."

The Old Man allowed himself to sigh before he spoke again. "To think a child can have such wisdom? And one that has lost so much."

"I read that understanding and giving empathy to others, regardless of their opinions and views, and granting them a differing opinion. They need the opportunity to hear it, and even if they do not like it, they must try and understand it." You stated, before walking over to the Old Man and pouring a cup of tea. "I think people just need to see with their own eyes the evil that must be brought to light. And that Good can triumph. The good in all of our souls."

The Old Man… Oster took a deep breath. "I wish I had your optimism. But I believe that Germany requires something more to drive it from Nazism, and Hitler's Poison."

"We don't need another dictator. We just need the Truth. Perhaps that alone will set us free." You said.

The Old Man took a sip of tea.

You had given him much to think about.

Reward: You have given Hans Oster an idea.

He also views you much better than before. Almost like a son.

-[X]Learn a New Skill: You want to learn something useful
--[X]Radio Technology: Communication has always been key, while not able to fight maybe learning about such technology will give you something to do to keep people informed and safe.

Rolled:D100 => 14

You learned something very important when you started learning how to use a radio.

Trying to keep your signal hidden from other people, listeners, and people who would seek to do you harm.

It was thanks to The Old Man that you were not arrested.

He had told the truth. You were practicing your mechanics. Putting together, and building a radio that was broadcasting illegally.

You were lucky that he had defended you. Because you saw him.

The New Hero of the Reich, the Answer to both the Hydra's Schmit.

The Devil of Dresden, The Beast of Rouan.

They say he killed a hundred men once the American's hit the Beaches… even beyond when the Paratroopers came to destroy the siege guns.

He was only driven away by Captain America, and his Howling Commando's, and was taking a small rest to find traitors in the midst of building his own commandos.

Captain Johan Liebert. Only 16, yet in his eyes, you could see nothing of a child. Only empty pools of sapphire that were bottomless, blank. Empty. His Soul if there ever was one that could inhabit such a beast, was buried underneath.

He just looked at you with soulless eyes, as if he could tell exactly who you were.

"Hail Hitler." The Boy said as he gave a salute.

You shivered as you took a step behind the Old Man,

"General, please care for your-." He paused, gazing into your soul as The Old Man spoke in your defense.

"My Ward." He stated. "His Parents are in Frankfurt."

He looked like he licked his lips, savoring a meal as he smiled at the Old Man, even making the blind man shiver as he said. "Oh, and his name?"

"Henrich Levi." You said aloud, despite your fear.

That made Liebert seem even happier. "A good name, a strong name. Perhaps not even your real name?" He drew his dagger and balanced it on his fingertips.

"I would take very good care to choose your next words, carefully." The Old man replied with a tone that scared even you.

Yet in this place, this boy… this beast felt nothing.

"Yes for blind man, his words are the only thing he has." The dagger was placed back into the holster on his side, while he could only smile. "I will. I hope to see you soon, Levi."

You shook as you sat, taking a moment to catch your breath when he left.

The Old Man felt relief. "Why?"

"I wanted to help."

There was anger in the Old Man's tone. "Did you not think of the consequences of your actions?"

"I want to help." You repeated. "I can-"

"I know you can." He agreed. "But you risk yourself when you do not need to." He sat down and stared off into the distance. "You will help, but when I think you are ready."

Reward: Radio Skill learned: Radio Broadcasting (⅕) You know how to use and operate a radio, and can use it as well as an average Radio operator in the German Army.

A Toy.

That was what you considered the Bomb that you saw being prepared. You had never seen a bomb before, even with the simplicity of it. The size of it was impressive, but you saw its flaws. Dozens of variables that no sane person could calculate. For one thing, the Explosive on the left side, if not armed properly, would absorb some of the blasts, meaning something as simple as a table leg, could take the force, and anyone who was standing next to it would be killed instead of the intended target.

Unacceptable. Everyone in the blast would need to be killed. If the bomb would have an intended target.

Or in the matter, THE intended Target.

"This is crap." You stated, making your displeasure known to Oster, and his colleagues. Many of the men here you did not know, but they were against the Nazis and despite a few misgivings, were skeptical about your… analysis, and statement.

"Hans, who is this?" The Colonel, Stauffenburg stated as he continued to be perplexed by your disassembly of the bomb that they had prepared. "He's a child. This bomb was made by von Boeselager and he's the best bomb maker we have."

"Let him explain. He might see something that you do not, and considering our luck depends entirely on this move." Hans Oster took a drag of his cigarette. "Henning is putting everything on the line, the last thing we need is for this bomb to fail and Hitler to survive."

Ludwig Beck, for his part, seemed very calm at the small argument. You liked him, he seemed like a calm man. Sure he had his misgivings, and you did not entirely understand him, but you were not entirely against some of the things he wished for. But even then, you did not understand him.

You did not understand any of this government that they planned, but you did know these men were guilty of crimes as well.

You did not know if it was atonement for those crimes, or just… a way to escape them, to place the blame on others.

How human.

You did not know if you would have the bravery as they had to stand against the State.

Then you heard a knock at the door, and the soldiers drew their pistols, preparing to protect themselves and everyone in the room.

"Erwin?" There was a surprise in the voice who spoke.

Hans Spindel seemed surprised that his superior was there, but also had a dumb grin. Like everything was going to be fine now.

Every single person in the room, and you for that matter, knew the Desert Fox well by reputation. The Legend of the German Army, the man who seemed to do impossible, with almost nothing at all. Others within the Army… knew even more of the man's personal life.

Erwin Rommel was the Hero of the German People, was Hitler's Star General, a man frequently praised by the Führer at every opportunity.

And now it seemed, he was a traitor to the Nazis.

"What convinced you?" Speidel asked, clearly confused that his superior had come to Berlin.

"Clarity of thought, and Hydra's… dog coming to me, asking for my support," Rommel replied. "I fear that Hydra will soon start a civil war…" He sighed. "We cannot win this war. But we can save Germany."

The words felt hollow for a moment. Hearing the Greatest Hero in Modern German History say that we could not win. Then it hit again. "Hans, walk with me." He stated. "The Reserve Army will need an additional Armored Division, I need the orders drafted."

"Yes sir." Spindel replied as he followed.

Everything seemed to stop for a moment before you looked back at the bomb. "Would anyone care for me to tinker with this for a moment? You can store more explosives within the lining if you make the suitcase a little bit thinner. You can shave a little leather off the edges to fill another… two, maybe three pounds of Explosives? And the timer here can be modified to be less sensitive, but easier and more hidden."

Reward:

Bomb Making Skill learned. (3/5) You are a bomb maker without peer. Your talent with explosives, both lethal and nonlethal, is incredible.

The Conspiracy to Kill Hitler has received a new member, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel.

The Bomb has been modified greatly to be far more effective. You'd like to see a table leg stop that bomb blast now!

Hydra is planning a Coup, and The Plotters must plan for their counter Coup.

Operation Valkyrie gains 1 Additional Armored Divison.

The Plot has a great chance of success, both in the assassination, and execution of Operation Valkyrie.

The Chances for a German Civil War have increased exponentially.

You looked at the radio and thought for a few moments. There were certain… ideas that formed through your head as you looked at a few wooden toys that were on the floor, and some metal figurines that could be moved…

You then thought of a few things that a radio could be used for.

You then realized that toy could be controlled with remote control. Like a car, or a boat. You had seen them done before in the dawn of radio waves, but…

What about a detonator. Not using a timer, but a radio wave from a button or switch.

Of course, there was the problem of being… stopped by its design or range. But-

No… don't overthink it. You could do so much with that.

Reward: Your Radio Skill is now 2/5: You are an expert in radio technology, and being able to repair or build a radio out of nothing but scraps, and being able to broadcast with the minimal signal. Your transmissions are invisible to all but the most dedicated operator and infiltrator.

You can now invent things.

Johan smiled as you realized that it was a trap. "Hello, Jude." He smiled as he lifted you up by the neck. "I was expecting far more subtlety from you, my dear boy. The kind that would not reveal yourself."

You froze. Were you careless? No, you were being extremely careful. You had covered your tracks. You had made sure you were not found. You choked and made a gurgling sound as Johan laughed with his fellows. They were like him.

Something dark in their souls tainted them.

And then you lost consciousness.
---------------------------------------------------------

You awoke on a train, with people on it.

Hundreds of people, scared and terrified.

Some spoke Hebrew, speaking the language of your people, while others just sat, in shock or horror.

It was a cattle car, and you were the cattle.

You examined the car and realized that you were not moving, not yet. There was still light from a city or a train yard. So you had not reached your final destination, wherever it was.

What do you do?:

[]Cry For Help: you are terrified of what is going to happen. You are going to cry out for the old man. He can save you. He saved you before.

[]Pray to God: You need to hope… you need to gather the courage that only God can Provide.

[]Look out the Window: You need to get your bearings. Where are you? Where were you going in the direction of the tracks?

[]Tap the Wood: The Wood… it's rotten? That means it can be forced loose! This wasn't a fortress… this was rotten wood!

AN: Shorter then expected.

Also, I'm not going to kill you.

Yet.

Hopelessness
Hopelessness:

You looked at the wood, the rotting wood that was holding the train car, and felt it. It was weak, it could be broken by one swift kick.

You took a position, as best you could and used all your energies… and gave it one swift kick.

It did not budge. The wood, despite the damage the rot has given, was still sturdy enough to keep its strength. You were not strong enough.

Rolled: 39

You looked around at some of the other people in the train car. "Can you help me?" You asked.

The people only looked at you, bewildered that you are trying to escape. "Quit trying to move boy, we've got our own spaces, stay in yours."

You pointed at the rot. "We can escape, we just need to break the-"

The man looked at you with a face of indifference. There was life in his dead, tired eyes, for a moment, before it faded away into an indifferent glare. "Everyone has the hope to escape this horror, wherever we are going. We deserve it."

You frowned. "We don't deserve to be taken away. To hurt or killed. We deserve to be allowed to see our accusers and see justice done. We deserve life because we are human… we are here, alive!"

Was it a hopeful plea to the last vestiges of a man's pride… or humanity? Perhaps. But you were still trying. People tended to be a lot stronger than believed themselves to be. You saw it first hand.

The man then spat on your face. "They say we are nothing more than beasts. That's all we are in the end when you take away all the trappings of civilization and decorum. We are all monsters."

You frowned as you whipped the spit off your face. "I think we are all good. We can only be forced or coursed into doing great evil."

That made the man point at the train car. "Oh, they were coerced alright. They willingly wish to kill our people, because a man told them we were the greatest threat to His regime. And they do so without hesitation."

"Not without hesitation." You stated, remembering The Old Man, and all the others that wish to kill Hitler and tear down his regime.

"Well, if they wanted it, they should have done it years ago, instead of waiting, and choosing now to fight back, when Germany is about to die." the man stated. "MAy death come for them all, for they will get what they deserve."

"And what do they deserve?" You asked.

The man laughed. "The Vengeance of Millions. Germany will not exist when this ends. And neither will her people."

"No." You said. "No one deserves that."

Dachau Concentraion Camp

Rolled: D100 => 97

You were led off the train, as you felt the light hurt your eyes. "Stop!" A soldier, an officer said, one in a Whitecoat, with… a very strange armband on his shoulder, with a multiheaded monster on it. "Stop this vermin!"

He stopped the group of prisoners with you, and the man examined them all. "No." A man next to you looked horrified before he saw you. "Wait."

He used his baton… or riding crop you did not know, to lift your face up to look at him. The man was… you couldn't describe the feeling of uneasiness that you felt before you stared into his eyes.

His brown hair was clean. His smile was filled with pearl white teeth. And despite what he seemed to do, his fidgeting hands and movements that he conveyed… He had energy within him.

Dangerous energy, like he could… destroy the world with a single thought.

He looked into your eyes and smiled. "Take this one. He might be one as well."

You froze as you didn't know what he was talking about, but the guards hit you in the back in the head, blacking you out.

When you awoke, you were in a laboratory. The man was furious that you were strapped to a table, but he was screaming at the men who had brought you in. Clearly distraught from the wound you suffered.

You turned to see the numbers, inked into your skin, permanently scaring branding you for the remainder of your life.

He walked over to you and held your cheek. "Are you okay?"

Every word that came out of his mouth filled you with dread. Like he was trying to manipulate you with his words.

"I know you have an understanding of what I am saying, if not the full grasp of it. It's how your mutant power works." the doctor said as he unstrapped the leather straps holding you onto the table. "My Colleagues believe that dissection and measures of simplicity can discover my so-called… well mutant gene. They believe that the Aryan race is the superior race to all of humanity!" He chuckled.

"Fools of course. They do not see that they are the inferiors." He then pointed a pistol at you. "No, I'm going to ask a question. Answer truthfully, and I won't shoot you. Do you understand?"

You gulped.

"Are you Human?"

[]Yes

Resurrection
Resurrection:

The doctor seemed to be intently focusing on your eyes, as if he could stare deeply into your soul, despite having not a single ounce of one himself. It was quite curious that the entire thing was hinging on your answer to him. He looked dejected, almost broken in the way he held his gun like he had failed numerous times in his own experiments.

A man chasing God in a way, but never able to seize it, always reminded of his own moral failings. Or even Mortal failings in a sense.

"What else could I be?" You asked, almost sarcastically as it finally set him off.

"There is a higher species, a higher human so to speak, those who are gifted with powers beyond imagination." The man replied as he calmly hit you with his gun. "Powers that can change the course of a war, of nations, of history itself. Now you are smart, but clearly, like all the others that I have brought in. without purpose."

"Than why did you even bring me in?" You asked.

"Hope. Hope that, like one other that I saw. A boy who could destroy the world if he so wished by reversing the magnetic fields of the planet." He said. "But the other mutants they were horrendously… weak compared to that. The ability to see air particles. Controlling a single breed of dog. Glowing in the dark like a torch but without producing any heat. Those were not powerful enough for the Reich."

He sighed. "So I ask again. Are you Human?"

You thought back to a saying that the Torah gave to you. Silence is consent. You never realized what it meant before now. But now you did.

"I am a Jew. According to the Reich, I am not." You said.

"Than answer me this then, dear child. Am I human?" He asked as he chambered a round, letting the unspent cartridge fall to the ground.

"Depends on your definition of human, according to mine I am and you are not." You said.

If this is how you would die, then you would die bravely. It was the least you could do with yourself. Dignity was in short supply these days.

And you might as well take the whole damn stock!

"Shame. I thought you would be different. But it appears I have made a mistake again." He said, and the world slowed to a crawl.

You could not move, you could not breathe. You could only think. And you saw where his gun was pointing. Directly at your skull. You were not an expert on human anatomy, but you were well aware of the stories the Old Man Told You.

About how soldiers were shot in the head, and survived, because of luck. And sometimes, how the pistol bullet, one of the weakest calibers to be shot at with, could sometimes ricochet off your skull.

And the weapon that the doctor was using was…

Weapon Rolled: 19

A Walter p38… but a modified one to shoot a less powerful 9mm cartridge, probably his own personal handgun.

You did the math as quickly as you did, as the flash appeared in your eyes. You tilted your head ever so slightly upward.

And the World went dark.

An Unmarked Mass Grave.

Dirt was in your mouth and you realized you were on top of a pile of corpses. Nacked. Now surely that was not as scary as another, more possibly brutal death by incineration, but you must have been buried because they were in a rush to bury bodies.

Your brain didn't feel like it was leaking out of the back of your skull, so either a bullet was lodged in your skull or the bullet ricocheted off your head.

You clawed at the loose dirt, pushing forward and upward. Using every last ounce of your strength to get out of this hole.

And you did.

The wound on your head was still, slowly leaking blood, but you felt the Bandage on your head. Someone had taken pity on you and had given you a bandage, trying to save your life as a decent thing. They must have forgotten to take it off when they buried you.

Spotlights were off or pointed inward. And…

You were free.

Reward: Power Rank up to level 1.0.

You now gain a roll bonus (of +10) when learning skills, and on a regular success, can start at level 3, Mastery. On a critical success, you can start at ⅘. Legendary Master.

The July Plot: Rumor Mill 1
The July Plot: Rumor Mill 1

Hans looked at all the men who were with him, scanning the room as if he could see them. And in a way, he could. His sight may be gone, but his other senses were not. "Today is the day we either save Germany or see it dammed by a tyrant."

D100 => 100 | natural 100: 1 #Hitlers Death

To Colonel Stauffenburg, Wolf's Lair was like a den of a dragon, with telephones instead of gold. The dens treasure, being the one man who could hold the entire criminal regime that, until he had loyally supported.

He may not agree with his fellow compatriots on everything, even what should possibly replace this new government after the provisional government was over. But what he did know was that if he failed, he may not be alive to see his wife or his comrades voice his opinions on it.

You looked to his briefcase, the bomb that that kid had created and made was more than adequate, and with the lining, it could not be detected by most security. Even Hydra.

Yet even now you felt troubled, putting his life, and the lives of millions of germans to a boy. Jew or no Jew, a boy with no explosives experience should have no business in this kind of operation. Yet Beck and Oster trusted him, inexplicably over more senior explosive experts.

But you had no right to complain. He could die if it went off, and it hadn't. So you just needed to be careful… and wait for that dammed phone call.

"Coleonl Stauffenburg. Telephone from Berlin."

Seems that Providence worked in mysterious ways. He had perfect timing. You nodded to the staff officer and walked over to the telephone.

Two minutes, that was how much time you had.

Eyes of soldiers were on you, but you were as calm as the day you lost your eye and your arm. Well, you were screaming in agony and in pain, but it would soon pass, like all things did.

The Telephone waited. The signal for you to leave. "This is Stauffenburg." You answered.

"It's a Go." The voice replied.

You smiled, as you began to walk to the car.

Thirty seconds to get into that blasted car. Everyone say you moving quickly, but you had gusto on your side.

That and a very very strong case of explosion-fearing goodness.

For the room that you were in exploded in a ball of blue flame, before becoming orange. You had no idea how something could be so hot, but for a moment you thought you were on the surface of the sun.

And the entire building that Hitler and his officers were in, was gone.

You reached the car and looked at the stunned corporal. "I have orders from the Fuhrer." You stated.

And you drove like hell to the airfield.

After all, you had a plane to catch!

Reward: Ding Dong, Hitler is Dead.

D100 => 4 #Hydra Counter Coup

They took over the government quarter in less than one hour.

The Armored division deterred any SS forces from trying to fight back from the Reserve Army.

There was a moment where there would be the word of a takeover by Hydra and the SS, but with the swiftness and the decapitation of Hitler's Government, including almost all of Hitler's Ministers.

His Government and his Reich, have effectively been destroyed.

Reward: Operation Valkyrie has been a sweeping success.

A New Civilian Government has been placed in charge of Germany.

As of this moment, Fighting on the Eastern and Western fronts has been delayed, but at none

D100 => 18 #Hydra Accepting the New Government

Due to Captain America's Actions, Hydra was unable to completely disrupt the enemy actions taking over the government, but they have not accepted this new government.

But they can deal with that in time. First, they have to deal with Captain America.

Reward:German Civil War Time.

D100 => 1 #Soviet Advance

The Soviet Advance Stalled. They are facing a much greater resistance in Poland than anticipated.

And there are rumors abound that, Stalin is dead as well.

Reward: Oh uh… Something is afoot in the Soviet Union. And it's stopped the Red Army's Advance towards Berlin

D100 => 40 #Allied Advance (Captain America Anti Hydra Campaign)

Bucky Barnes, Captain America's Long-time comrade, is dead. Killed in action against a Hydra Train raid.

D100 => 65 #Allied Advance

Allied Forces are cruising towards Paris at speeds that even the German Forces are unable to predict, they are moving like they are the Germans during 41, without any wish to stop until victory is achived.

Survival, and Journey to Berlin

[X]Find Clothes: You are really nacked and that is very conspicuous. Rolled:D100 => 77

You walked throughout the night, towards a glow of the town in the distance, and saw a farmhouse that was in the distance. It was a quiet place, one that seemed abandoned by the homeowners, or they had decided to hide in the basement in the night, to hide from the allied bombers.

And on the line, the clothes that were drying over the night, were some clothes your size, along with a bigger jacket you could use. You took it and quietly put them on, before making sure to leave something behind.

A note of sorts, to remind yourself you were not a thief. What you were doing wasn't a bad thing.

You needed to help the people you cared about.

And so you put on the jacket and began to walk east, following the train tracks, hopefully towards Berlin, and to the Old Man.

You saw the car before they saw you, as you hide in the tree line of the woods.

The car was no longer adorned with Nazi propaganda, flags, or pageantry. Instead, it was adorned with a flag of Germany, a tricolor flag you had never seen before, then the flag of the Wermacht.

And you saw him.

The Old Man. He was wearing his full dress uniform, as he took a breath, stepping out of the car in a haze of cigarette smoke.

Even blind he looked towards you, a smile on his face.

It took you a moment to realize that he was waiting for you to come out of the woods, to come towards him. He was waiting for you, as you realized he did not have the courage, or the need to come out and look for you.

You would have found him anyway.

You always did.

You had taken a moment to take stock that things were not the same.

He had stood firm as he gazed at your arm, before looking at the wound on your head, then to the numbers on your arm. He lowered the sleeve. "It's okay." He said. "Your safe now."

You finally broke down in tears in the Old Man's Arms.

December 24th, 1944

The room seemed to shake again, as another bomb went off. Berlin was still under constant bombardment.

The shouting beyond was even louder. "We must save Germany, this was Hitler's war, not Germany's war! We must seek peace!"

"They will not accept peace, nothing less than unconditional surrender. We have to keep fighting, otherwise, Germany will not exist! Hydra and the SS are in open rebellion, Hitler's loyalists that we failed to capture are waging a guerilla campaign against the homeland, and you want us to keep fighting? We cannot stop the allies from bombing us!"

"They have already taken east Prussia and have taken over Poland. The Allies are at the Rhine? How long do you think until they pass the Rhine, they cross into Germany itself!?" The voice spoke.

The Old Man's voice rose again. "Germany bleeds, and the only way we can prevent this bleeding, and begin the healing, is to stop this war."

"I did not take you for a man who would hope for peace Hans?" Beck replied, finally speaking. "After all this time"

"I believe in a strong Germany. We cannot become strong if we are destroyed."

There was silence.

The End of War
The End of War

--[X] "But the war is lost, we can't win, can we? Britain, the Soviets, the Americans, all have sworn to bring us down. If we're defeated, we have to ensure that Germany will win the peace. Let us be gracious in defeat and perhaps our foes will be gracious in victory. If we help them with Hydra and the SS, maybe we can save Germany as a nation." Your pause. "Or we can watch it all burn and hope for the best, just like the Führer did."

It took a moment for you to find the words to say, as you wondered, just how important they might be. They might be discounted, but you were sure they would not be.

After all, despite everything, you had become very instrumental in the assassination of Adolf Hitler. That bomb was all you're doing, even in the way it was designed. You took a deep breath and found yourself saying nothing.

Fear had taken your voice and robbed your courage to speak to these men. These men, whom, at least in some way, were guilty, of inaction.

For a moment, you were alone.

Then the Old Man placed a hand on your shoulder. "It's alright, speak the truth."

"But the war is lost, we can't win, can we?" You asked.

There was a moment where everyone was stunned to silence with your words. Yet reassuring hands kept you steady and calm. The Hands of the Old Man were enough to keep you from devolving into something of a bundle of nerves.

"Britain, the Soviets, the Americans, all have sworn to bring us down. If we're defeated, we have to ensure that Germany will win the peace." You stated.

"We have won the Peace, Hitler is dead." Stauffenburg stated.

"Yes. But Himmler still fights with the SS, and other Nazi criminals remain at large. Hydra still fights us and the war and promises to save Germany with a WunderWaffen that will change the world. But those two… terrorist organizations are not the German Government, nor do they represent the German Government that represents the German people. Let us be gracious in defeat and perhaps our foes will be gracious in victory."

"You have that much faith in their common humanity, even after the great suffering that has been caused by Hitler's war?" It was Becks turn to speak. He was curious, very curious. But he was still listening with intention. As if his mind was not made up.

"If we help them with Hydra and the SS, maybe we can save Germany as a nation." You pause, no longer needing The Old Man's Touch to be confident in yourself. "Or we can watch it all burn and hope for the best, just like the Führer did."

There was silence in the room. Among these men, who had for so long, fought against Hitlers Germany

A clicking from Beck said it all. "There are those in the Reichstag that have been calling for peace. They have motioned for the secession of hostilities. We will begin to hear them out."

Reward: Germany begins the road to peace.

Gain (.5) to your charisma score.

Gain the Skill Diplomacy (⅕): You are a student of diplomacy, being able to reason and argue for a position that may not be entirely of your liking.

-[X] Pray: You feel empty inside. Perhaps God can help you feel whole. To stop feeling so sad. Rolled:D100 => 5

January 12th, 1945

It was sad.

That was all you felt as you sat alone in the room that The Old Man gave you, a Torah, translated to German, one that somehow survived the burnings and the dismantling of your people in Germany.

You had felt so sad, and you thought that nothing could save you from it.

Yet you continued to pray, to the Almighty that was above you, that could protect you.

And asked why?

Why did your people have to suffer this horror?

Why had he abandoned you?

And you heard nothing in return.

Reward:

It does not get easier. Nor does it get harder. The day just continues. Without a single thing changing.

You want to feel better.

You want to feel yourself getting better, that the horror is over.

You don't.

Your Faith is questioned in a way that you do not want to be answered. Not now at least.

You feel hopeless.

-[X] Talk About the Future: The Old Man wants to talk to you. He wants to… speak about what the future may hold for you. Rolled:D100 => 57

March 1st, 1945.

The Old Man was quiet as he took a sip of his tea. "You know thanks to you, I haven't drunk a single beer in about a month. Quite the feat."

You continued to poke at the tin of rations that were provided as dinner tonight. The rationing was soon going to be coming to an end, once the treaties were signed, and the War was officially over.

He looked towards the table, and to you, and you felt his calming gaze upon you. "Are you alright?"

"Not hungry." You replied.

"Hm…" He stated as he took a seat across from you. "You are scared about what may come?" He leaned forward. "I am too."

Your face seemed dumbstruck, as you stared into the blind eyes of Hans Oster. "I am afraid, that I might lose you, a boy whom… has saved my humanity."

"Saved you? I thought I should be the one saying that to you?" You asked.

"I have long since lost my pride in holding that over you." He stated solemnly. "Every day, I try to see you with the Sight God has granted me, and… try to understand how resilient you are, and feel that we are not lost." He then gave a rare sight.

A Genuine Smile.

"Perhaps one day, you can teach the world how to keep hope as you do." He stated.

He paused, letting out a long sigh. "I hope you do not mind me asking one selfish question of you then."

He showed papers. Adoption papers. "My wife and children do not know that I have been hiding you while in Berlin. I would rather not keep secrets anymore."

Would you accept me… as your adoptive father?

[]Yes: You are adopted into the Oster Family.

[]No: My family is still out there. They are still alive, and I cannot do that to them.
