They are still under soviet occupation, albeit under a guy who genuinely is a good guy and is trying to spread communism, without using the army to destroy everything, cause they are trying to rebuild...

So call it... a one party dictatorship that actually gives a damn about Poland, but is to scared to do anything about it due to the 600 Soviet tanks that are within its boarders ready to fuck shit up?

Maybe we might see a more Liberal Soviet union that is more akin to Modern China rather then... Stalinist Russia?

HCM is actually in exile here in Germany.

France kicked him out of Vietnam in 47, putting a warrant out for his arrest for in their laws, treason, and with the Chinese Civil War coming to an end, he isn't expecting much in the way of support from Mao.

There is also the fact that, unlike Papa Joe... Zhukov is doing his best to actually keep the peace between east and west, and well... not doing adventures with his nation rebuilding half of europe.

So until Zhukov dies, expect the Soviets to become very defensive, very rich thanks to resources, and try to cement their hold over eastern Europe via carrot, rather then stick.

Chaing and Mao somehow came to an understanding, and there is a ceasefire in China. Potentially there may be reunification, but for now, there are two Chinas claiming to be the legitimate state.

Yes, I know I said they might reunify again, but talks broke down.

to be fair,chinese industrial production did increase a 230% between 58' and 60'
but a lot of it was shitty industry in terms of quality

ideally the chinese instead of speedruning industry in 2 years,should have done it over the course of 10-15 years since the end of the war,a bit slower but safer (and without as much warcrimes)

And is still Bucky still on Ice while waitingfor missions? Zhukov seems like the kind of guy who would want him to have a life besides being the best Soviet Assassin..
