Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

Alucard: "So, we heard you rolled around with a heathen on the floor the other day Father. A witch no less. Made her scream loudly too if the rumors are correct. What would Big J say, hmmmmmm?"
"Penetrated multiple times. Repeatedly even. Left her in quite mess too."

Not sure whether to wince or laugh :V
Late reply, but I thought it'd be a really nice surprise if we came back to the dream and found Yumi talking to Plain Waifu :V

[x] Fuck it.
-[x] Bayonets.
--[x] All her limbs. She'll live long enough.
---[x] Either fire or explosive bayonet to slug hand.
[x] Make some distance.

I'm actually really disappointed that we haven't, up to this point, deployed Unlimited Bayonet Works appropriately. And I am doubly disappointed that we haven't taken advantage of the fact that Anderson's bayonets are guided fucking missiles.

No, seriously. Watch the second half of Ultimate Episode 1. Anderson hurls a double handful of bayonets to stab Seras Victoria through the back as his opening move in the hospital, and they come flying down the hallway to hit her straight on, right? Well the next scene is him calmly walking down a staircase and turning right into that very same hallway. He made the throw from the top of the stairs and the bayonets must have flown down the stairs, made a right turn, and homed in on Victoria like goddamn Predator drones, juking to avoid Alucard in the process.

(Also of interest in that scene; Anderson throws bayonets so fast they cause a sonic boom that shatters windows the length of the hallway, and he's so fast himself that he passes the last one when he charges Alucard while he's shooting them down. But that's not completely relevant!)

Sadly we don't have the space to pull that trick here, but in the future we totally could. Like, the Hunter with the machine gun on the tower in Old Yarnam? Just fill him full of bayonets from three hundred yards off, piece of cake.

I presume we're saving it for a special occasion.

--[X] Appreciate the use of a good meatshield as she tanks hits for you.

Am I the only one who thinks rolling around while clutching someone who has been impaled with numerous bayonets is a bad idea?

Shouldn't be too bad - she's on the floor, so the bayonets would go through her, and if Anderson grappled her he'd be pressing against the hilts rather than the blades. Worst-case scenario would be that they come out and cut him up a bit, but that shouldn't bother him too much, since he regenerates.

...
Does Anderson need to worry about replacing damaged clothes?

Couldn't we just, you know, blitz her with bayonets and leave the room? Then come back after the spell has run it's course?

She could also be stuck to the floor.
Depending on how much time he has, Anderson might be able to dispel the blades (pretty sure he can do that ...), or simply snap them or pull her out via brute force.

I'm more worried about grappling someone who's actively casting A Call Beyond what are you fucking thinking?
I haven't played the game, but going by the update and the video, isn't there space between the caster and the emanation point for the spell? Wouldn't she serve as a meat-shield? (Leaving aside any questions of whether breaking concentration would be enough to disrupt the spell.)

Once it started appearing, A Call Beyond isn't cancellable.

Which is pretty horrible for you if you tried to interupt the cast but was just too late.
