Anderson Quest: Killing Vampires and Werewolves and Leprechauns (Hellsing/Bloodborne)

[X] "For what is worth, from one old man who also died giving everything he had and then some, being able to experience more of this hell we call life...was fun. The good, the bad, the ugly, this life that the Lord gave us really is sweet and I can't say I've lost out for breathing a bit longer if only for having the chance to meet people like you. When your light finally snuffs out, crack a smile, why don't ya? This tale was grand. Fare well."

The sike vote is tempting. :V

I, for one, don't find the sike option to be in any way tempting. Let's not spoil the moment, alright?

I like this it's .... dignified in a way.

Who knows, maybe The LORD will have her laze about at the base of Purgatory with the virtuous heathens. Then you just have to wait for the Apocalypse and you can go gallivanting about in the Heavenly kingdom, reminiscing about whatever old people reminisce about, with her and everyone.

Because why not? I somehow like the idea of giving her a bible. It takes no time, and might do something.

It´s a big might but eh.

Give her a bible? Really now?

I don't see the downsides. Enlighten me?
Well, for one, she might have some severe biases about religious institutions, seeing as she's guarding the remnants of the inhumane atrocities committed by a church (that she used to work for).

Two, Maria's a strong-willed woman who's not seeking redemption nor the forgiveness of some higher power. She's a very tired hunter who just wants closure and the peace of oblivion for both her and her 'charges' behind the door.

And three, it feels like a lazy yet hamfisted attempt at getting Anderson to act Christian-like. That instead of imparting a short sermon and verse that would help Maria be a bit more at peace with herself and her crimes (like what a good priest would do), to say that she no longer need to raise her arms as we'll be taking it from here... the vote goes "here, have a bible. Educate yourself lol".

I mean not even a bit of context or suggestion on where to start? I dunno about you guys, but the Book of Leviticus, while being, uh, very informative, isn't exactly the best reading material for someone who's about to meet oblivion.

 Case in point

We're a priest. Is there any reason we couldn't offer to baptize her? Offer her a chance to go to heaven?

What would be the point? The act would not be a genuine one. Maria's not even seeking redemption for her very blackened soul.
You raise some good points. What would be a good place to start for someone preparing for oblivion? Bok of Job? Psalms?
Book of Job? haha lol no

Best I can think of, on the top of my head? The Beatitudes, but it's not as much for Maria, and more for the inhabitants of the Fishing Hamlet IMO.
