I love how you all wanted to convert her before. But, in the face of others killing in her name, you turn on that notion.
 
...So anyone have some ideas for what to do that wouldn't end up with a fight against Ebrietas?
Because I'd want to go for something like that.

The vote asking her to speak with actual sound instead of eldritch vibrations is because her method of communication is making us bleed from various head orifices. It isn't that much of a threat but I doubt the brain damage would be good for us.
 
I haven't changed my stance from trying to convert her. I can't think of anything better or that will sway the majority that much.

The way I see it, and hope it goes, is he asks for Last Words, she asks why, he explains the horrors and hopefully discovers she had no idea and did not want that at all.

Seems like a good path to possibly not murdering her horribly. I'm for that.

IIRC, Ebrietas originally didn't know what the Church was doing with her blood, or didn't understand at the time.
After she turned her handmaid into the Altar of Despair (Yeah, turns out the Great Ones consider absolute knowledge of time to the point that interacting with you can turn back time to be a proportionate reward for a handmaid...Ain't that lovely to know), she very quickly realized what her 'halping' was doing.
It's possible that may get her some brownie points, if she was actually regretful (which I remember her being).
