How much money we got in the wallet?

Should probably note which floor the elevator stops on if Alex gets on...

Gonna update my vote.

QM'S Note: Still a tiny bit divided. You all seem to be saying roughly the same thing, just in different ways. Let me help you by asking you a question. What kind of approach do you want to this situation, and what are you preparing for?
-

[X] Do a thorough sweep of the surrounding area to find possible entry points and stealth your way in casually.
-[X] Find Alexander and remember the woman's face.
-[X] If found by the security, walk yourself out without a fuss given the chance.
--[X] If not, listen in to Alexander and the woman for more information.

D.D. Spectator

[X] Do an eyes only sweep of the surrounding area to find possible entry and exit points, along with anything else of interest. A through sweep will look suspicious.
-[X] Enter casually and attempt to find Alex.
--[X] When you do, memorize the faces of the people he is with, and listen in.

Dark Ness

[X] Casually walk in and see if we can see Alex.
-[X] Do not try and get too close to him and eavesdrop, if Alex loiters in reception then ask a receptionist about room rates or find a newspaper to pick up and read. Act as though you are there on completely normal business.

--[X] If you catch up to Alex and he doesn't loiter try and see what floor his elevator is headed to and take another up.
---[X] If you can't catch a glimpse of him at all, settle for getting a room for the night. Make some small talk with the receptionist. Bring the convo up about their couples rooms , where they are and that you might bring someone next time.

Why? We have a hotel room, and Alex expects us to be there.

Why?

Why?

I'm thinking that Alex is being held hostage by some guy pretending to be the a women and that getting the room gets access to upstairs so that-

Or I'm overreacting and Casey is just giving Alex some familiar treatment. I guess MC paniced, which got me to panic. Hell, this is probably procedure Alex is used to...maybe.

Two Things: First, why can't it be a women? What, women can't be spies and assassins?

Second, who cares if Alex dies. We can get a new handler, but not a new life, rescuing him isn't worth the risk. Plus, he is a dick.

Because I was desperately hoping you would talk amongst each other to come to a solution. Like, you guys are a team. Against me. It's QM against voters here. Except the motives aren't so black and white, but it's a rough example. It's more like "The QM is sometimes against the voters, but secretly hoping they overturn his plans."

In this aspect, and take in my I say this pretty lightly, I'm the Joker, and you're the Batman. Think of it like that.

Alright, I'll pose another question. When somebody dies, it's always nice to have a scapegoat, correct?

Why not blame, you know, the actual murderer instead of the rookie that hasn't even done one mission? Why use us? We are to incompetent to serve as a good scapegoat, and he is OUR handler, if anything, he should be blamed if we die, not the other way around. Finally, the CIA doesn't need a scapegoat, there ops are secret anyways. Who would we be the scapegoat for? Certainly not the people, and the CIA doesn't need a scapegoat to fool themselves, that doesn't make sense.

Right, but certainly there are people who would want to kill a CIA operative and blame another, to cause tremors to ripple through their ranks, correct? And why not blame the rookie who has already proven to be a bit of a mook, with a knack for being paranoid about everything and constantly trying to elude his handler? You don't think Alexander hasn't been sending reports on your progress?

And most importantly, this is the spy business. If you're going to go through all the trouble of killing somebody, it's always best if the people your victim works for doesn't find out it was you, correct?

If the enemy has access to CIA reports, we are fucked no matter what.

Also, why not blame it on a different enemy or even a random attack instead of the rookie? Also, the only time we tried to elude Alex was from before he was our handler.

We're all intended to have our own thoughts on this. *chuckles* Regardless, why are you so eager to see him die, considering he's literally your only tie to the CIA right now. Without him you might as well be burned. Whoever is going to kill him, would almost definitely go after his agents as well, starting with you. And considering this is a much more experienced agent than you, they would almost certainly start by limiting your access to any type of CIA resources. And do so successfully.

I don't want him to die, I just don't want to risk our only life to save him.

We saw a dude holding Alex at gunpoint and we were expecting a guy named Casey to meet with Alex.
It's possible that Casey might be who Alex is with and is just taking pre-cautions to meet with Alex in an environment under their control.
Alex is experienced and I would think he's been in similar situations without our interference.

Ohhhhh. That was this quest? Sorry, it has been so long that I got it confused with a different one.

I was hoping you and the other voters would talk to each other, reach a solution. With a scattered vote, and only a grand total of six voters, it's increasingly difficult to come to a fair conclusion on the votes. So I figure that you guys talking it out and coming to a compromise of sorts could be nice so we can finally proceed with the quest.

And I like making callouts to people ^_^
