Alchemical Solutions [Worm/Exalted] Thread 16: Playful Parasites Pervert Prayer, Perpetuate Plagues

Also, we probably want to put a rush job on the rest of the Assembly. After this arc we need to push heavily on the PRT that we have proven ourselves trustworthy, and that they can kiss our collective's ass if they think they can stop us.
Alternatively, we look like we're taking advantage of a dire situation to advance our own agenda.

Missy(textbook Jade) is my highest priority, with Colin(we should send Autochton at least one Tinker and he's textbook Orichalcum in attitude) once he gets some character development and comes back from the boonies, and Lisa(textbook Starmetal in attitude) once she actually regains our trust in character, even if we OOC already know she's meeting all the requirements.

The Moonsilver slot is somewhat up for grabs, but Aisha/Dennis are my leading preferences if they qualify.

Random aside:
Bladedancer + Marrow Ship Name:
I am the bone of my sword
:p

Remember, if someone could qualify for multiple castes, we can encourage them to exalt as a specific caste with a pre-head-schloorping pep talk. Assuming they're conscious, of course.

There is a Science of Augmentation in Autochthonia, I think.
Bioenhancement, I see it now. The main procedures for that thaumaturgy are on page 200-201 of MoEP:A; the mutations one (Engineer Machine Graft) is on page 131 of CoCD6:A. Ink Monkeys has the procedures for implanting and removing soulgems.

But they needed Sting to create the opening from the Avatar as the rest of that Universe was blocked off (even from a Multiversal laser).

I'm just trying to understand how this Essence spread works. We know there are other Alien races in the Multiverse, what happens to them? Or the other Entities?

Are only humans the ones who gain Exaltation? Does this kill the other innocent Aliens?
To misquote Teal'c, ours is the only planet of consequence.

What an odd way to spell "Accord"
and Lisa(textbook Moonsilver in attitude)
I thought Lisa and Accord (especially Accord) were textbook Starmetals?

Accord being the Slave trading, murdering scumlord that he is, doesn't even register on the list of people I want to exalt and make immortal( no matter how useful his power is).

Lisa fits both Starmetal and Moonsilver(though more starmetal than moonsilver), but Accord is more Orichalcum

All the more reason to convert GU so we can get access to his shard without the troubling moral quandaries :V

We do need to get some people fitted with soulgems. 'Hey, can I stick a soulsteel spike into your forehead and cap it with a huge gemstone to store your soul in?'

While I can understand disliking Accord for his numerous crimes, I think redeeming villains would be an extremely helpful goal for the assembly. The Endbringers guarantee a slow apocalypse, but it's the warped society put in place by Eden that really makes life difficult in Bet.

Wait, what? Aleph was a paradise compared to Bet, I thought. No Endbringers, very few parahumans, etc.

Question... What is the rule for uploading art made for this story? How is it preferred to be posted/counted?

While we COULD talk them around, the slots are difficult to reshuffle for some candidates.
Paraphrased slightly:
Starmetal is a tricky slot to fill since it required disobedience, or even active subversion of authority.
Orichalcum likewise because it requires the willingness to ride roughshod over the opinions of others for your goals.

These are not attitudes which go with 'nice' people.

You saw it in the 20-30 seconds before I edited.

Lisa is basically Starmetal/Moonsilver material.
Accord is basically Starmetal/Orichalcum material.

I don't think Accord would be willing to convert. He feels that he's perfect in every way, why would he want to change?

Best part is, "mutations" includes things like "clinical immortality" and "you are as tough/healy/disease-resistant as an Exalt", so we could quite easily mass-produce immortal supersoldier baseline citizen pseudo-Exalts. :D

In theory someone (Wyld or resocialized-Bonesaw, if we teach them Occult/Craft (Genesis) to that level) could invent a pure-biological variant as well, possibly one that focuses on healing and more heavily on mutations. Which could then be used by anyone.

And since Degree 3 Procedures can be used with only three dots in Occult, you can have 'experienced professional' Occultists learn individual mutation designs and just churn them out. Expensive Resources-wise, but hey, free public healthcare NANOMACHINES!
